Nick Gordon: What Does He Say Happened to Bobbi Kristina?

We have yet to hear Nick Gordon's side of the story regarding what happened to Bobbi Kristina Brown January 31, but a new audio tape may reveal it.

Bobbi Kristina nearly drowned in her bathtub that morning. She was discovered face down and has been in a medically induced coma ever since.

Nick Gordon is being sued for $40 million by her estate, and will likely be the subject of a murder investigation if and when she dies in hospice care.

Publicly, Nick has not said a word about the bathtub incident, but a TMZ report says a member of Bobby Brown's family recorded him weeks later.

Gordon did not know he was being taped, but the call was legal in Georgia, where one party can record another under certain circumstances.

So does the recording help or hurt Nick, and what does it reveal?

We wouldn't go so far as to say the excerpts make Nick sound like an upstanding guy, but they won't help police pin a murder charge on him.

Nick says, "I'll tell you the honest truth, Krissy ... she was under a lot of stress and we were all doing drugs and you know, all, drinking, bro."

"She just did too much man," Gordon laments. "She ... listen, listen bro. I will officially stay away from bathtubs forever, I'll tell you that."
