Nnamdi Kanu To Lead IPOB Monday Broadcasts From Detention

Simon Ekpa, the Finland-based member of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has said the detained leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu, directed that he would henceforth lead the group’s Monday broadcasts from the Department of State Services’ detention.

Ekpa added that he (Kanu) had asked him to broadcast the topics he (Kanu) decided every Monday on Radio Biafra.

He also reiterated that Kanu would continually steer the ship of the Biafra struggle from the detention of the DSS.

Recall that IPOB through its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, had banned Ekpa from broadcasting following his alleged neglect of laid down rules and regulations of the station.

However, Kanu's Finnish-Nigerian disciple said the pro-Biafra seccessionist group leader had re-ordained him.

Ekpa said this on his Twitter page on Tuesday morning.

"Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from DSS detention has directed that henceforth, my Mondays’ live broadcast topic will be coming directly from him.

"I am Simon Ekpa, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's Disciple on Biafra Restoration. He will continue to lead this struggle from DSS, Aso Rock Detention, from Prison,” Ekpa tweeted.

BBNaija: Veteran Actor Charles Inojie Sends Pere A Cryptic Message Following Clash With Whitemoney

Following the late-night clash between, Big Brother Housemates, Whitemoney and Pere, Veteran actor, Charles Inojie has taken to his social media to pen down words of wisdom to Pere.

It is recalled that Pere attempted to remove his belt and use it on Whitemoney as they got into a fight last night.

His actions infuriated Whitemoney and other housemates that called him out for bullying.

Reacting to a clip of the incident posted online, Charles Inojie wrote;

“ODE TO PERE… From creation day, man’s greatest folly has remained himself, his ego, his pride, his sense of self-worth, his intolerance for competition, his abhorrence of rivalry, his superiority complex.. Hear me, every man that has fallen from grace to grass, crashed from a position of influence and admiration or suddenly become an enemy of those who once adored him and sang his praises; have had their fall traceable to their inability to manage these vices. History is never tired of deconstructing men of such character.

The Taliban knocked on her door 3 times. The fourth time, they killed her said the deceased daughter

Najia was at home with her three young sons and daughter in a small village in northern Afghanistan when Taliban fighters knocked on their door.

Najia's daughter Manizha, 25, knew they were coming -- her mother had told her they'd done the same thing the previous three days, demanding that she cook food for up to 15 fighters.
"My mother told them, 'I am poor, how can I cook for you?'" said Manizha. "(The Taliban) started beating her. My mother collapsed and they hit her with their guns -- AK47s."
Manizha said she yelled at the fighters to stop. They paused for a moment before throwing a grenade into the next room and fleeing as the flames spread, she said. The mother-of-four died from the beating.
The deadly July 12 attack on Najia's home in Faryab province was a chilling preview of the threat now facing women across Afghanistan after the Taliban's takeover of the capital Kabul. CNN is using aliases for Najia and Manizha to protect their identity for safety reasons.
In 10 days, Taliban militants captured dozens of provincial capitals left vulnerable by the withdrawal of US and allied troops.
The speed of the militants' advance caught locals off guard.
Some women said they had no time to buy a burqa to comply with Taliban rules that women should be covered up and accompanied by a male relative when they leave the house.
To Afghanistan's women, the flowing cloth represents the sudden and devastating loss of rights gained over 20 years -- the right to work, study, move and even live in peace -- that they fear will never be regained.
