The most dominant female athlete of all-time won her fourth
consecutive Grand Slam title over the weekend, cruising to victory at
Wimbledon.
But the 33-year old could not completely enjoy her victory because a
few body-shaming trolls out there decided to act like total morons.
"Ironic that main reason for her success is that she is built like a
man," a Twitter user wrote, for example, which actually prompted a
response from Harry Potter author JK Rowling.
"Yeah, my husband looks just like this in a dress. You're an idiot,"
Rowling awesomely wrote, including with her dismissal a photo of
Williams in a red gown.
Now, though, Serena has gone ahead and defended herself.
First, the tennis star shared the above photos on Instagram, writing as a caption to the hot body shots:
"Beach day in Sweden #SerenaSlam #renasarmy."
Williams also included video of her eyebrows getting plucked, directly referencing her critics and writing along with it:
"Lol finally getting them shaped! Hahahha #haters I love you!!! Hahah
but I still like them all natural! But for now you win lol."
This is the one place where we can't agree with Serena.
She wins. She always wins.
