Blind man beats up his blind wife because he saw her cheating on him with other men

A blind man told a court that he beat up his blind wife because he saw her cheating on him with other men, according to court documents in Zimbabwe.

Angeline Moyo appeared before the Harare Civil Court, where she filed for a restraining order against her husband, Vengesayi Magwinya.

She is also suing her husband for physical and verbal abuse.

Moyo, who is blind, told the court that witnesses failed to appear and testify on her behalf because her husband threatened them.

Moyo said that she was seeking a protective order against him because she fears for her life. Moyo also accused her husband of stealing her belongings.

Magwinya admitted that he beat up his wife, saying that it is all her fault because she had sex with men. Magwinya told the court that he still sees what his wife is doing behind his back despite being blind.

After hearing the testimony from both sides, the judge decided to grant the woman an order of protection.
