FRSC to prosecute drivers of crashed tankers

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has concluded plans to prosecute tankers drivers involved deadly crashes in Lagos and Onitsha, Anambra State.

This was disclosed on Monday by the Corps Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi.

He added that the drivers will be made to face the wrath of the law after conclusion of investigations into the crashes that claimed several lives and burnt property valued at millions of naira, to serve as deterrent to others.

It will be recalled that fires resulting from tanker crashes in Iyana Ipaja and Idimu areas of Lagos and Onitsha led to the death of about 100 people earlier in the month within one week.
