Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were spotted together yesterday
afternoon for the first time since the longtime duo split earlier this
month.
Fortunately, she did not go ballistic.
We learned earlier that Scott actually saw the kids for the first time since his epic global bender this week. Now we know he saw Kourt as well.
Kardashian, 36, brought two of the couple's three children, Mason, 5,
and Penelope, 3, to the Beverly Hills Hotel Thursday to see Disick, 32.
The reunion was ... alright.
"Kourtney and Scott acted cordial. They were mostly focused on the
kids. Scott looked very happy to see the kids," an eyewitness says.
Disick, who spent some time with his eldest child, has agreed to have a
chaperone with him when he spends quality alone time with the kids.
Pretty sad really. But considering Kourtney wants full custody and they never got married, that's likely the best he's going to get for some time.
After the hotel visit, he brought Penelope to Disick's Beverly Hills home ...
In any case, "Scott and Kourtney chatted and seemed okay," a source
close to them says. "Kourtney seems to be making an effort for Scott."
To reconcile? Hells to the no.
She wants to ensure he "can spend a lot of time with the kids," for
their sake alone, and for now, Disick seems to be on the same page.
"He's coming back down to earth and trying to figure out his next step," a Disick source says. "He wants to do the responsible thing."
"Now that things have settled down, he's acting like an adult again.
He's got a long way to go, but he's taking some steps that are
encouraging."
