40 African Migrants Die & 90 Rescued as Boat Sinks Off Libya’s Coast

Up to 40 African migrants have died, and 90 rescued, after a boat they were being transported in sank.


According to BBC, over 120 people, including women and children, were on the boat on Wednesday, when the tragic incident occurred.

The 90 migrants who were rescued were subsequently taken to Italy.

According to the report more than 1,800 migrants have died since 2014.
