Diddy says he didn't do it.
The music mogul was arrested on Monday afternoon and charged with assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly confronted a UCLA football coach who had berated Diddy's son on the field.
Sources claim Diddy struck UCLA football’s strength and conditioning
coach Sal Alosi with a kettlebell because Alosi was yelling at Justin
Combs, a junior defensive back on the squad.
But a rep for the artist has released a statement that disputes this story.
“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate," reads the statement.
It continues:
“What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely
defensive in nature to protect himself and his son. Once the true facts
are revealed, the case will be dismissed."
There's actually been talk that Diddy will face charges of making terrorist threats against the coach, but that chatter may be premature at the moment.
