After warming up the crowd with a good gag, 'Yee switched gears and told an affecting story about Kim's father, Robert Kardashian, finding a racial slur spray-painted on the side of his Bentley.
It was an emotional moment, and proof that Kanye can pay tribute to North West without the help of auto-tune of Paul McCartney.
We're happy to give credit where it's due, and Kanye delivered a humorous, stirring speech that was fully-deserving of the standing ovation he received at the end.
Of course, that doesn't mean we believe for a second that Kim would've married him if he were poor. We ain't sayin' she's a golddigger, but...
