Together for nearly a decade and engaged for several years now,
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt tied the knot in Chateau Miraval, France, a
rep for the couple tells NBC.
They wed in a small chapel in a private ceremony with family and friends.
Prior to the nondenominational civil ceremony, which took place on
Saturday, the A-list actors also obtained a marriage license from a
local California judge.
The judge also conducted the ceremony in France, making it official.
The couple's six kids participated in the wedding. Jolie walked down
the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox and Pax, while Zahara and Vivienne
threw petals.
Shiloh and Knox both served as ring bearers in their parents' wedding.
Congratulations to the couple on reaching this amazing milestone and
doing so on their own timetable and in private. We would expect nothing
less.
