Beyonce has been named by Forbes as
the most powerful celebrity of 2014.
The Mrs Carter Show tour was
critical to her success, as Queen B played 95 shows, bringing in an average
$2.4 million per stop. She also released a visual album, Beyonce, to huge
success. A singe of the album, Drunk In Love, has already gone platinum.
LeBron James was second on the list,
the Miami Heat superstar earning $72 million last year and may earn more having
opted out of hislow-paying contract with the Heat.
Dr. Dre was 3rd on the list, and was
also the highest earner on the list, thanks to his historic sale of his Beats
Electronics to Apple.
