She is no longer the Kim Kardashian sex tape star. Or the serial athlete dater.
No, Kim Kardashian is now a mother - and it's a role she's fully
embraced, Kim told Julia Restoin-Roitfeld (for her blog, Romy & the
Bunnies) this week.
"I love being a mom!" Kardashian said.
"It's the most rewarding feeling! I really love every phase! Just the
way my daughter laughs with me, all of the small things in life you
appreciate!"
Kim and kompany celebrated North West turning a year old last month, throwing the child an elaborate, Coachella-themed party.
However, despite her clear happiness as a parent, Kim admits not everything has been easy.
"I took a hiatus after I had the baby, and found it challenging to
start working again because I didn't want to spend any time away," she
explained about the most challenging aspect of motherhood. "But you
adjust and prioritize, and just figure it out!"
Very sound advice. And it helps when you have millions of dollars, along with full-time help.
Kim added that she’s become more “selective” with her projects,
choosing when she wants to work and when she wants to stay at home with
North.
What advice can she offer other parents?
"You have to remember though to make time for yourself. If you feel
good, you will be happy in your career and family life and everyone is
happy!
