Jay Z is doing all he can to save his
marriage to Beyonce . Ok Magazine reported on Monday, June 23, that
the couple are in intense couples therapy and he has promised her that
he will no longer contact fashion designer Rachel Roy.In hopes of avoiding separation and divorce, the rapper and singer are going to marriage counseling three times a week. The person who convinced them to take the drastic measure is none other than good friend Gwyneth Paltrow . Gwyneth’s marriage to rocker Chris Martin, Coldplay’s frontman, hasn’t done so well and it may be her recent separation from her husband that has prompted her to urge her good friends to go for counselling before it’s too late.
Not only is Jay-Z going to counseling, he has made a vow to Beyonce that he’ll stay away from Rachel for good. According to a source, he called Rachel and ended their relationship in front of Beyonce. The source said that there won’t be any more cozy dinners or late-night phone calls to the fashion designer, especially since he has deleted her number from his phone.
The marriage of Jay-Z and Beyonce has faced intense scrutiny ever since video footage of Solange Knowles viciously attacking Jay Z in an elevator while they were all at a Met Gala after-party was leaked in mid-May. While no one in the family has spoken out about the reason for the attack, it was reported that Solange was furious at her brother-in-law for getting too close to Rachel earlier in the night. After witnessing her sister being disrespected again, Solange snapped.
Unfortunately for Beyonce, it seems that Rachel’s not the only woman she needs to worry about. It’s now reported that Jay Z has carried on a long affair with R&B singer Mya , giving her not only his time and affections but also his money. With such a bombshell allegation just now surfacing, it’ll definitely be interesting to see how the power couple interacts with each other during their “On The Run Tour,” set to begin in just a few days.
