President Obama's Daughter, Malia Rocks Pro Era T-Shirt in Mysterious New Pic - See Photo

A mysterious new photo appearing to show U.S. President Barack Obama's eldest daughter, Malia Obama, wearing a hip-hop group's T-shirt is going viral.

Posted on social media Sunday, the picture features the 16-year-old in a white shirt emblazoned with the logo of Brooklyn-based collective Pro Era:

Malia Obama is seen with both arms behind her head, double ear piercings, a ponytail and a wide-mouthed expression that is neither a frown nor a smile.

While the image's exact origins and authenticity remain unknown, a member of the hip hop group confirmed that it had been sent by an Obama friend.

Pro Era founder Joey Bada$$ said through a rep that Pro Era had received the snapshot from "a mutual friend of Malia and the Pro Era member."

Public interest in the First Daughter has risen in the past year as she and her 13-year-old younger sister Sasha continue to display more personality.

Back in August, a rare selfie of Malia Obama showed the First Daughter at a Chance the Rapper show at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago.

They were slammed by a GOP Congressional aide for not showing enough class.

More recently, the two siblings joined their parents for a family vacation in Hawaii, where they disembarked Air Force One looking really grown up.

"One child is going to be driving this summer," First Lady Michelle Obama recently said of how quickly time passes when you're a parent. "Look out!"

"My youngest loves dancing. She dances in an organized program several times a week, but they’re into what kids are into," FLOTUS went on.

Apparently that includes Pro Era in Malia's case. What do you think of the pic?

Would anyone care if it weren't the First Daughter? Should they? Discuss.
