Man Who Strangles Women and Have Sex With Their Dead Body In Ebonyi Nabbed By Police

A 20-year-old man, identified simply as Chukwuma, who allegedly specialises in killing women and having sex with their dead bodies in Ebonyi State, has been arrested by the police.

Chukwuma who is a painter, was nabbed after the police set him up with a girl along a farm pathway, where he usually waylays women, who are either going to or coming back from the farm.
According to the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Chris Anyanwu, he had the habit of pouncing on women on lonely bush paths where he strangles them and has sex with their dead bodies, Daily Sun reports.

He said they got information that he had already killed three women in the same way.
Recounting the incidents, Anyanwu said on July 15, he waylaid one Anyigor who went to farm at a place called Okwulike. After strangling her and having sex with her dead body, he robbed her of N8,500, which he found on her. The suspect disclosed he used the money to buy Nokia handset phone and used the remaining money to drink local gin called ‘kaikai’.

About a week later, he pounced on another woman, Mrs. Helen, 54, who went to Egiagu village to farm. Her dead body was later found by a search party along the lonely farm path.

Upon interrogation, Chukwuma confessed to the crime, saying he did it because the community people refused to stop calling him a nickname ‘Sogbodo’, which he hated.
