Kim Kardashian is finally speaking out about the wedding day squabble she had with brother Rob.
During an appearance on Tuesday's Watch What Happens: Live, the 33-year-old revealed to host Andy Cohen what really happened the day of her May 24 wedding that led to Rob jetting out of Italy and skipping the lavish event.
"He sent me a long email the morning of [saying] that he was going to leave," Kanye West's wife said about her brother, who has been battling self-esteem issues over a recent 75-pound weight gain. "There was no fight."
Kim also answered a reader question about why she seemed to lack empathy toward her brother over this situation.
"My brother and I are so close, he's one of my best friends," she insisted, noting that they are currently both living in their mother Kris Jenner's Calabasas, California, home. However, "I'm definitely a tough love kind of person. If I don't like something that's going on in my life, I change it, and I don't sit and complain about it for a year."
"I try to encourage him," she said about her 27-year-old sibling. "And once you don't make that change for so long, and it's not happening, I get frustrated. My patience runs out."
In a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the family discussed Rob's rapid weight gain after he skipped a family trip to Thailand. Kris revealed he had gained 75 pounds in one year. "It’s devastating," the matriarch said.
Rob has not yet publicly responded to Kim's comments on WWHL, but things between them seem okay with the sock designer recently posting a photo of Kim and Kanye's daughter, North West, on Twitter and writing, " Goodness @KimKardashian she's soooooo pretty!!!! LOVE HERR."
While Rob may be struggling with his self-esteem, his love for his niece clearly knows no limits.
