Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, has confirmed what many have been insinuating about Mercy Johnson currently towering above other actresses in the movie industry, by stating that Mama Purity has no equal.
In an interview recently, Rita, who has been in the industry for a long time and should know, said that Mercy is her role model and a true Africa Queen.

Pulse.ng sighted her on Saturday, 29th March, at Golden Land Hotel located along Okpanam Road, Asaba, where she was shooting a scene and in a brief exchange before she dashed off to another location, Mercy said she is actually humbled at the way movie producers rush to her with scripts.
She said that she gets an average of 10 to 15 scripts every week and most times, the producers pay huge amounts of money to outdo one another so as to lure her to their sets.
She attributed her success to the favour of God in her life.

Of all the girls in Nollywood, she is the person I love most because she is natural to a fault.
She can fit in anything. She is over natural and I like her because she does it well anytime, any day. I give it to her. After
Mercy Johnson, Chioma Chukwuka, Ini Edo, Genevieve. You see all these
girls, they are all good but of all the girls, Mercy Johnson is still
the best.
