Pandemonium in PH as police disperse pro-Amaechi lawmakers:nformation reaching our news desk indicates that there was pandemonium in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital as men of the state command of the Nigeria police exploded teargas canisters as they dispersed a crowd of supporters of Governor Amaechi from the House of Assembly. The crowd had gathered as the lawmakers sat for their plenary session on the street of Port Harcourt. The lawmakers attempt to sit even outside its usual venue ostensibly stemmed from the court ruling on Wednesday stopping the National Assembly from taking over legislativr functions of the Rivers' House.
