I get really excited when ever I’m asked to shoot an artist.. I know I don’t know what I’m going to do … Not in the least … This makes me really … really nervous…and I love it.

I let the nerves take over till I can’t take it any more.. Then I pace around the studio to counter it… I do what ever I need to .. Till my mind gets from nerves… To peace and finally , but more importantly to PLAYFUL…then I LISTEN.I give myself permission to run with the thoughts that come to me .. No matter how silly or mundane they sound. I’ve learnt to trust the Voice.

With Asa .. The Words were ..FLY .., SOAR.., BLOOM. I knew the Voice was right when she started to dance to ‘No worries ‘ by @nosaalways . Or when she stood ghostly still … As if in anticipation of ‘something ‘when she wore more structured clothes.

Asa is a true artist. I know this.. I knew this the very first time I saw her eleven years ago..She’s the real deal.

It was a beautiful surprise for me looking back at her images as I edited ,when I realized that the flowers that I put behind her at the shoot to represent her blooming actually looked like wings. ..  Who Can Apply

• The merit-based scholarship is in two categories – the National Merit Award (NM) and the Areas of Operation Merit Award, East or West (OE or OW).

1.) National Merit Award (NM) Open to all Nigerians

• Is open to all Nigerians.

2.) Areas of Operation Merit Award, East (OE)

• For Nigerians who are indigenes of SPDC’s operational area in Abia, Akwa Ibom, Imo, Rivers and Bayelsa states (excluding indigenes of Ekeremor and Sagbama local government areas).

3.) Areas of Operation Merit Award, West (OW)

• For Nigerians who are indigenes of SPDC’s operational area in Bayelsa (i.e. of Ekeremor and Sagbama local government areas) and Delta States.

Eligible Applicants Must:

• Be citizens of Nigeria, currently enrolled in an accredited and approved university in Nigeria.
• Have gained admission during the 2013/2014 academic session, and pursuing a first degree programme.
• Have a minimum of seven O/Levels credits, including Mathematics and English.
• Be enrolled full‐time, in a university in Nigeria at the undergraduate level with a minimum grade point average of 3.5 at the time of application (attach transcripts or official records

1.) All applicants should have their personal valid email accounts (for consistent communication).
2.) Candidates who meet the above entry qualifications should provide the required personal and educational details, and load scanned copies of the following:

• A recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant (i.e. jpeg format, not more than 200kilobytes);
• University or JAMB (UTME or D/E) Admission Letter;
• Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Scores;
• ‘O’ Level Result(s); and ‘A’ Level /OND /NCE Result(s) as applicable; and
• Letter of Identification from State (showing Local Government) of Origin.

3.) Scanned copies of letters of identification, (which must be duly stamped and signed) by:

• The Paramount Ruler of the Community; and
• The Chairman of the Community Development or Executive Council (CDC or CEC) is also required of applicants for the Operational Area Awards (OE & OW). The letters should be addressed to The Manager, Sustainable Development (UIO/G/NRS), Shell Petroleum Development Company, Port Harcourt.

Document size must not exceed 200KB and the image format must be JPG.

Celine Dion’s husband, René Angélil is battling throat cancer and his final wish is to be with the singer when he passes away.


Recalling their conversation, she said: “I’ll say, ‘You’re scared? I understand. Talk to me about it.’
“And René says to me, ‘I want to die in your arms.’ OK, fine, I’ll be there, you’ll die in my arms.”“He can’t eat so I feed him,” she said. “He’s got a feeding tube. I have to feed him three times a day.”

However, on his instructions, she has returned to Las Vegas for her residency despite it “freaking” him out when she’s not at home with him.

She added to USA Today: “Don’t forget, he’s been the leader of the band all my life. So it [hacks] him off to not see me all day and over here working. But he wants me to do this, do the show, do the interviews. But he freaks when I’m not home with him, too …

“I didn’t want to be here at first, I don’t need it. Don’t get me wrong, I love singing for people, but I have priorities. But René really gave me a gift.

“All my grieving, it was during this last year. I think I’ve got this. For now. When it hits me, it’s going to hit me. But my biggest job is to tell my husband, we’re fine. I’ll take care of our kids. You’ll watch us from another spot.”

The couple married in 1994 after knowing each other for 14 years.

Drake and Serena Williams: Caught Making Out!!!

Rumors of Drake and Serena Williams hooking up have been circulating for months, and both parties have repeatedly insisted that they're just friends.

But if the tennis legend and the emotional emcee wanted to keep their relationship on the DL, they should've laid off the PDA, because TMZ has photos of Drake and Serena making out at a swanky Cincinnati restaurant.

Drizzy and Serena hit up the high-end eatery Sotto to celebrate her victory at the WTA tournament in Cinci, and apparently, they couldn't wait for the check to arrive to start pawing at each other.

Of course, Serena is as famous for her curves as she is for her serves, and anyone who's seen Drake enjoy a lap dance from Nicki Minaj knows that the man is a fan of the booty.

But we're guessing their connection is about more than just off-court smashing.

Both Drake and Serena are at the top of their respective fields at the moment.

Serena is the number-one ranked female tennis player in the world, and Drake's been murdering rival Meek Mill in what might be the most lop-sided hip hop feud since the Insane Clown Posse tried to take on Eminem.

Basically, these two are all about dominance these days, so it seems only natural that they'd get together.

Winning championships is great and all, but it's about time Serena scored some love off the court.

Wife of Kcee, Ijeoma Okonkwo was spotted at Ubi Franklin and Lilian Esoro‘s marriage introduction that took place over the weekend.

Kcee hardly reveal his private life to the public and his wife is hardly seen in public.

Ijeoma was pictured sitting near E-money’s wife.

OMG!!! Woman Carries her Dead Twins For 5 Days Because of Doctors Refusal to do an Evacuation

 

31-year-old Sambi Manyaka (pictured above) carried her dead children inside her for 5 days because doctors refused to remove them immediately. She was told by the doctors to return in five days to have the dead babies removed. One of the nurses told her to go home and bond with her children while they were still within her.

According to Daily Sun SA, Sambi was seven months pregnant when she went to Lebowakgomo Hospital in Limpopo for a check-up where she was told that her twins died in her womb. She claims the doctors told her to return in five days for the dead babies to be removed.

"After the doctors told me my twins were dead, I pleaded with them to operate. One of the nurses laughed at me and told me to go home and bond with my children while they were still with me,” she said.

After getting a second opinion from a private doctor, she went back to the hospital to beg staff to operate but she was told the hospital was full.

“I couldn’t sleep at night because I thought I would die as well,” she said.

Sambi was eventually operated last week at Tambo Memorial Hospital in Gauteng. She was discharged on Wednesday, August 19 and is doing well. Meanwhile, Health department spokesman Macks Lesufi confirmed that Sambi was seen at the hospital and left after being sent home.

“We condemn the allegations but we have to investigate to find out what really happened,” he said

He added that the Health department would look at her file and if any official had acted improperly, action would be taken against that person.
