Unbeleivable: Magodo Housemaid Plans With Robbers To Rob Boss

Operatives at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Lagos, are currently investigating two robbers, allegedly invited by a housemaid to rob her boss (names withheld) in Magodo Estate, Lagos State.

According to reports, the housemaid, simply identified as Mary, connived with the robbers, identified as Ikong Daniel, 22, her lover, and Pius Dennis, 20, to rob her boss a few days after she was employed. During interrogation, the suspects revealed that Mary took them into her boss’ bedroom, where they stole her money, gold jewellery and other valuables.

However, trouble started when the maid escaped with the proceeds of the operation. Unfortunately, Ikong Daniel and Pius Dennis were arrested while attempting to escape.

Suspect’s account Confessing to the crime, Daniel said:
“It was my girlfriend, Mary, that perfected the plan to rob her madam. She recently started work there as a housemaid and invited us to the house. I did not plan with Mary to rob her boss. We have been dating for about three months. “Dennis got involved because I invited him. I told him that when he closed from work he should come to my house, because it had been over a year since we saw each other.

“After he closed, we went to my house in Ikorodu. When we got home, my girlfriend, Mary, called me on phone that I should come to where she was working at Magodo. “I did not have money. It was Dennis that loaned me money for transportation from Ikorodu to Magodo. When we got there, she opened the gate and took us inside. “When we got there, she said we should come inside that we have an assignment to carry out.
She took us inside to her madam’s bedroom and asked us to hold the woman that there was money in the house. “I do not know the exact amount or the worth the jewelleries she collected. “It was Mary that also brought the knife we used to frighten the woman during the operation. I assisted her to hold the woman, while she parked her valuables. “Mary, who is also from Cross River State, was able to escape with the proceeds from the operation. “She promised to share with us whatsoever we made from the operation.” Dennis, a commercial bike operator, confirmed Daniel’s story, adding “we were almost out of the estate when operatives of Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, apprehended us and brought us to Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS. “It was Daniel that held the madam down, while his girlfriend packed the jewellery, money and other valuables. “The mistake I made was not leaving when I realized that his girlfriend had invited us to rob her boss.”

Tamara Green Sues Bill Cosby For Previous Abuse Denial

One of the (many, many) women accusing Bill Cosby of sexual assault is suing him for previously denying that he ever touched her. Clearly, she doesn't agree.
Tamara Green claims Cosby drugged her during a lunch date, then groped her at her apartment, after the two had gone on a date back in the early '70s.
Bill Cosby Pic
Green has made this claim twice before:
  1. In 2005, on NBC's Today, in an interview surrounding the comedian
  2. In interviews with Newsweek and the Washington Post this year
Now, obviously, she's back at it.
A retired attorney, Green has now filed a defamation lawsuit against Cosby in Massachusetts, claiming Cosby's repeated lies (via his team) have branded her a liar.

Green says she's been ridiculed in her private life and professionally as a result of Cosby, and is looking to drag him into court as a result of this angle.
Which is what it is, an angle to get around allegations that are decades old and unlikely to result in any police action (though the LAPD says it may investigate Cosby).

His denials are more recent than the alleged crimes, so Green's suit - like the lawsuit filed by Judy Huth under a different pretense - could make it to court.

Regardless, it's yet another sad chapter in a troubling pattern of allegations that have exploded in the past month, but Patton Oswalt says it has been long known.

According to Oswalt, there may be literally hundreds of women beyond the 20 or so that have come forward with similar, disturbing stories about Cosby.

Kate Middleton Shows Off Baby Bump at NYU Fundraiser

It looks as though Kate Middleton and Prince William's trip to New York is coming to a close, and as expected, the royal couple bid the Big Apple farewell in style and got fully glammed-up for an NYU fundraiser.
On Monday, Kate was sweated on by Lebron James, but by Tuesday she was in fully-primped princess mode and ready to hobnob with NYC's glitterati.

Kate Middleton and Prince William in NYC

Kate and William attended an NYU fundraiser last night. As usual, they were both the picture of class.
Yes, Kate was gorgeous and Will looked dapper, as usual, but in the gallery above, you'll find one photo that's raised some concerns over the wellbeing of both Kate and her second baby.
In the pic, Kate can be seen sipping from what appears to be a large glass of champagne. The sound you her is the first rumbling of Internet outrage.

Now it's important to point out that 1. We have no idea if it's actually champagne, and 2. Even if it is, most doctors will tell you one drink is very unlikely to harm a fetus in any way.

Still, sipping bubbly in public may be considered a bad move for the Duchess from a purely PR standpoint.
Considering Kate's severe morning sickness and other pregnancy complications forced her to cancel a number of official public appearances, some Brits might be offended by the knowledge that she's suddenly healthy enough to jet off to NYC, sip champagne, and hang with Jay Z and Beyonce.
Kate can never win with the press, but it certainly seems like she's winning in every other area of her life.

Khloe Kardashian Laments About Her Divorce With Lamar Odom

It's been all over between Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom for about one year now.
In December of 2013 - following talk of hardcore drug use and rampant infidelity rumors, Khloe filed for divorce from Lamar, ending a union of approximately four years.
And she still hasn't gotten over it.

Lamar with Kim and Khloe
Lamar Odom poses here with Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian.

The reality star once again took to Instagram last night to share a profound quote with followers, one that clearly references her split from Odom.

"What was it like to lose him,' asked Sorrow," Kardashian wrote online. "There was a long pause before I responded: It was like hearing every goodbye said to me said all at once."
Double sad face, huh?

Since choosing to end things with Odom, Kardashian has famously dated French Montana.
They first got together this spring, split in late summer and then rekindled their romance a couple months ago. But insiders confirm Khloe and Montana broke up for good just last month.

What does the future therefore hold for Khloe Kardashian? Will she ever move on past Odom? It's unclear at the moment.

We hope she finds true love that lasts forever and ever.

Natural Ways To Get Rid Of Bad Breath

No one likes to hear it, but it's worse not to know it: You have bad breath.
Bad breath (also known as halitosis or malodor) can be embarrassing and tough on those around you. Some people don't realize their breath could peel paint because people are afraid to tell them.

Certainly bad breath can ruin relationships.
Morning breath is a common occurrence, but all-day halitosis isn't something you should accept as the norm. Even if garlic and onions are on your daily menu, there could be other reasons your mouth reeks. Dr. Margaret Mitchell, DDS, founder of Chicago-based Mitchell Dental Spa, says you don't have to live with bad breath and shares her top halitosis-halting dental health tips.

Brush your teeth

If you're a teeth-brushing slacker, it's no wonder you have smelly breath. Dr. Mitchell says, "Step one in keeping your breath minty fresh is to follow the steps of basic care and cleaning for your teeth and gums — this includes brushing after meals, flossing daily and scheduling bi-annual dental appointments to keep cavities and bacteria at bay." The dental expert also warns that halitosis may be a sign of a serious dental issue. "Anything from a rotting tooth to an abscess to unclean dentures can turn breath really nasty, and for more serious dental problems it is extremely important to seek professional treatment," she adds.

DIY bad breath tests:
  • Wipe a piece of gauze on your tongue — if it is has a yellow tinge or smells, you have high levels of sulfides in your body causing the bad breath.
  • Lick the back of your hand... wait 10 minutes and smell your hand — the sulfur salts (if present) will remain and leave your hand smelling bad.
  • Floss your back teeth and smell the floss.

Face the facts

Do your friends keep their distance from you when you're discussing the latest reality TV series? Do they complain you have bad breath and you have no idea what they are talking about? Dr. Mitchell says you may be oblivious to your bad breath and advises doing a bad breath test. "Consider checking in with your dentist and using a bad breath meter such as Halimeter because this machine measure the amount of sulfides in your breath," she explains. "You can also do a breath test at home."

Follow a better breath diet

According to Dr. Mitchell, simply adding crisp fruits and vegetables to your daily intake can clean your chops naturally by removing plaque and food particles from in between your teeth and gums. Incorporating more fresh produce into your diet will also deliver a delicious dose of antioxidants and other phytonutrients that can boost your dental and overall health.

Tame your tongue

Did you know that your tongue, especially on top in the back of mouth, is a serious source of halitosis? "Bacteria love to linger on the back of this muscle (your tongue), and it's a location where food can easily get trapped and rot, causing odor," says Dr. Mitchell. "Invest in a tongue scraper — it will save you a fortune on gum and mints."

Go herbal to get rid of halitosis

Schedule tea time every day to help you keep bad breath at bay. "Sipping natural remedies like black and green tea can alleviate bad breath naturally by zapping bacteria that breeds in the mouth," Dr. Mitchell explains. She also recommends spicing up your meals with the Indian spice cardamom to curb halitosis.

Ditch the low-carb diet

Still following a low-carb diet? Dr. Mitchell doesn't recommend it when it comes to wanting to be halitosis-free. Low-carb diets lead to your body releasing ketones, which are foul-smelling chemicals that get exuded through your breath.

Chew sugarless gum

Chewing gum can freshen your breath — if it is sugarless gum. "Make sure to check the label and see that your gum is sugarless since bacteria in the mouth are apt to ferment sugar, thereby making your icky breathe even worse," Dr. Mitchell says. "While you're at it you might consider slashing sugar from the rest of your diet as well to freshen your breath."

Drink and drink some more

Staying adequately hydrated isn't just good for your health, it's a great way to wash away halitosis. "As long as you stay continually hydrated, your mouth will release enzymes through your saliva that wipe out bad bacteria — and bad breath," Dr. Mitchell adds.

Check your prescriptions

"If you can’t seem to pinpoint the source of your chronic foul fumes, you might want to search for the source in your medicine cabinet," Dr. Mitchell advises. " Certain medicines like blood pressure pills, anti-depressants and antihistamines contribute to dry mouth, and thus, a toxic taste (and odor) in your mouth." The dental expert recommends talking to your doctor.

Get a physical

Speaking of doctors, if you've tried everything and your bad breath is still lingering, Dr. Mitchell suggests making an appointment to get a physical. She adds, "Bad breath can sometimes be an underlying symptom of other health problems, including liver problems, reflux, diabetes and sinus infections."

16 Characteristics of REAL Love: Must Read

Love. It makes the world go 'round, right? Well, at least that's the how the saying goes. But is it true? It should be, but so many people confuse love with things like jealousy or possessiveness. True love isn't either of those things. But these 16 things are.

So here are the characteristics of REAL love:
1. Love means letting go of expectations.
Sure, we all want people to behave the way we want them to. We want them to be more affectionate. Or more outgoing. Or smarter. Or more ambitious. All of these things are expectations. Expectations are just your requirements for "acceptability" of loving someone. But true love has no expectations. It simply loves "as is."
2. Love doesn't play the victim role or blame others.
Love doesn't think others are "out to get them." Love doesn't think their loved ones are wrong. Love works together. It takes responsibility. It forgives and allows other people's actions to be their journey. Love doesn't take things personally.
3. Love includes letting go.
Love doesn't equal possession. Just as the saying goes, "If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it's yours. If it doesn't, then it never was." There is truth to that. Love allows people their freedom. It doesn't hold tightly and crush their wings in attempt to keep them. True love doesn't want to possess. It is willing to set you free if you want to be.
4. Love doesn't require you to continue a relationship.
You may love someone very much, but you may not be compatible with them. Or they may drive you crazy with their continued disregard for your feelings. You can still love them, but that doesn't mean you have to be with them. Love doesn't mean that you have to stay, and stay and stay. You can leave the relationship and love them anyway.
5. Love has no room for jealousy.
Like possession, jealousy doesn't equal love. We think that if we're not jealous of our loved ones that it means that we don't love them. True love has confidence in the quality of the relationship. It knows that the other person is happy and content coming back to you and only you.
6. Love is the absence of fear.
You can put all emotions on a continuum. On one end, you have love. Then appreciation. After that, it's joy, happiness, contentment and satisfaction. On the opposite end of the continuum of love is fear. Other fear-based emotions include, hatred, insecurity, jealousy or greed.
7. Love is not needing and wanting.
One of the things we try to teach kids is that there is a clear difference between a want and a need. Needing someone is a feeling based in fear. You fear that you can't live without them, so you need them. And remember, fear is the opposite of love. Wanting someone in your life gives them the freedom to leave, but still shows them you love them.
8. Love is an action, not just a feeling.
Humans tend to be addicted to intense emotion -- especially when it feels good. So, when we're in love, we want to feel that way forever. But guess what? That higher than "Cloud 9" feeling goes away after a while. That doesn't mean you don't love the other person anymore, it just means that it's not new anymore. So that's where the action needs to kick in. Show the person you love them. Don't just assume they know.
9. Love is unconditional.
The word 'unconditional' means that there are no expectations or limitations set. To love unconditionally is a difficult thing, and most humans aren't good at that. But true love really does love without trying to change the other person.
10. Love means putting other people's needs equal to -- or before -- your own.
While people may be inherently selfish for survival purposes, this does not serve us well in relationships. If you don't put other people's needs at least equal to your own, they will grow resentful. Real love truly, genuinely cares about other people's happiness and will go to great lengths to make people feel valued.
11. Love is the highest vibration emotion that there is.
Science has proven that emotions like love and fear have very different vibrations. They can actually measure them. Love vibrates very fast, whereas fear-based emotions (think jealousy, possessiveness, hatred, greed, etc.) vibrate very slowly. When you love completely and unconditionally, there is no fear involved. The vibrations of love make you feel good at all times.
12. Love requires attention.
Love doesn't ignore. It doesn't look the other way. It wants to be present and be together. When people are in love, sometimes they think that they don't have to "do any more work." But real love actually enjoys giving attention to another person. It feels good, and doesn't see giving attention to another person as a chore.
13. Love understands and accepts differences.
Let's face it: We're all different. Even identical twins aren't exactly the same. They have different experiences and outlooks about the world. Real love doesn't make other people wrong for being different. When people truly love another person, they accept their differences.
14. Love varies in how it is expressed and accepted.
What makes us "feel loved" varies. In the book The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman, he explains the different ways people give and receive love: (1) Words (2) Acts of Service, (3) Giving Gifts, (4) Spending Time Together and (5) Touch. It's important to discover other people's love language so you can understand each other and give love in a way that the other person recognizes it.
15. Love makes you feel good, not bad.
Many people confuse being in a relationship with love. Just because you're in a relationship doesn't mean there is true love present. If there is jealousy, possessiveness, constant fighting, abuse (verbal, emotional or physical), that is not love. Refer back to #6. Those are fear-based emotions and actions.
16. Love has empathy.
Empathy is the ability to put yourself into another person's shoes and see a situation from his/her point of view. Love has deep empathy. "When you hurt, I hurt." People who truly love one another don't want to hurt them. They want them to feel good. They care about their feelings and try everything they can to make them feel valued and worthy.

Remember, love is happiness, appreciation and feeling good. Anything other than that is not love. If we all loved one another as ourselves, the world would be a better place!
