Late Nollywood actor, Muna Obiekwe’s burial arrangements have been announced through the AGN President, Ibinabo Fiberesima.
The mortal remains of the late Nigerian actor Muna Obiekwe who died on
Sunday January 18 at a private hospital in Festac, Lagos after battling
with kidney disease will be laid to rest on Tuesday February 3.
According to reports, activities to lay the actor to rest will start with a candle light procession on February 1.
Family, friends and sympathizers are to
converge at Marsha Roundabout in Surulere, a suburb of Lagos as the
Candle light procession will start from the roundabout and end at Ojez
stadium in Lagos.
The late actor who died at age 36 will be buried at Umudioka in Anambra State in Nigeria on the said date.
The actor is said to have been quietly
battling kidney disease and had kept it from friends, colleagues and the
media but was planning to produce a stage play to raise funds for his
treatment instead of going public to solicit for funds. But
unfortunately he lost his life before he could start.
