Mystery as flock of sheep have been walking around in circles for 12 days straight in China - (See Video)

Mystery as flock of sheep have been walking around in circles for 12 days straight in China

A flock of sheep in China's inner Mongolia region have gone viral for walking non-stop in a circle for nearly two weeks.

Surveillance footage reveals the flock, which live in pen number 13, have been walking in a clockwise motion for almost two weeks.

Video of the sheep circle has gone viral, with the creepy footage being seen by some as the "sign of the apocalypse".

The owner claims the odd behavior began with a few of the farm animals before the entire flock joined in.

There are 34 sheep pens at Ms. Miao's farm, but only the sheep in pen number 13 have been acting strangely.

Some believe this is normal sheep behavior, but others think something more sinister is behind the odd movements.

Other Twitter users have suggested the sheep may be afflicted with listeriosis, a disease which can affect both humans and animals.

Symptoms of the disease include lack of coordination, salivation, circling and more.

However, the Chinese state-run news outlet People’s Daily reported the sheep are perfectly healthy.

Other instances of sheep behaving oddly and forming circles have been reported in the past, with one instance in East Sussex last year showing a photo of a flock standing in a circle in a field.

Christopher Hogg, of village Rottingdean in East Sussex, was cycling when he saw the animals behaving like they were ''in the X-files''.

The 47-year-old said: "I was on my daily cycle when I came over the hill and saw this magnificent circle."

"The sheep are usually noisy. I go past them every day, but this day they were very still and calm,'' he said.

Hogg said it seemed like the animals were in a trance, calling it ''eerie''.

The reason behind the sheep's odd behavior in both Mongolia and East Sussex has remained unknown.

How 20-year-old man connived with friends and killed his stepmother in Anambra over N1million

How 20-year-old man connived with friends and killed his stepmother in Anambra over N1million

The Anambra State Command, has arrested a 20-year-old man, Ekenedilichukwu Okeke, for allegedly killing his stepmother, Mrs.Theresa Okeke,54, over N1 million.

The deceased, an accountant with the National Population Commission (NPC), was reportedly strangled to death on September 28, 2022 in her residence, No. 4 Umuziocha, Awka, the state capital.

Parading the suspect alongside his three accomplices at the state police headquarters, Amawbia, on Friday, November 18, 2022, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Echeng Echeng, said Ekenedilichukwu allegedly connived with his friends to murder the woman in order to withdraw a sum of N1 million from her bank account.

"One Mrs. Theresa Okeke, aged 54 years, an Accountant with National Population Commission, Awka, was murdered in her residence at Number 4, Umuziocha, Awka," the CP stated.

"Immediately the case was reported, her stepson, Ekenedilichukwu Okeke, aged 20 years, who slept in the same house with the deceased, was arrested for interrogation.

He claimed that armed robbers stormed their residence and killed his stepmother. However, after an intelligence based interrogation, he eventually confessed to the crime and named his accomplices.

Detectives from State CID, Awka, swiftly mobilized in search of the accomplices which led to the arrest of three additional suspects, namely; Peter Jideofor, aged 23 years, Chukwuemeka Christopher, aged 29 years and Chisom Emmanuel Dike, aged 22 years.

“They have all confessed to the crime and disclosed that it was the deceased’s stepson who contracted them to come and kill the deceased to enable them transfer the sum of N1 million from her account, having known her phone password. The suspects will soon be charged to court," Echeng added.

During his parade, the stepson said he had to hire his friends to assist him carry out the act, shortly after the deceased, who had been assisting him in paying his fees, insisted he must leave her house over a misunderstanding.

"I finished writing JAMB and was doing some menial jobs to enable me raise money for my university fees. I also worked for NPC 3 months ago," he explained.

"I had misunderstanding with my mom, along the line and she scolded me. I pleaded with here, thinking she’s forgiven me. But the next day she asked me to leave the house.

“I called my dad and elder brother to inform them of the development but my dad didn’t pick. It was my brother who picked that I told what happened

"After, I called my friends to help me get money from my mom so I can use it for my fees ahead of my admission. Along the line, she collapsed and slumped. I’m very remorseful and praying God to have mercy on me and government to forgive me.”

One of the accomplices, Peter Jideofor, a musician who confessed he was the one that tied the deceased mouth when she attempted to scream, said they would not have killed her if she had provided her pin number.

"He told me he had an issue with his step mother that I should help him extract N1m from her. It was around 2am, with my other guys. We tied her hands and feet,"e explained.

"When she wanted to shout, I personally tied her mouth. In the process, she stopped breathing. It was at that point I left because my mission was not to kill. When I was leaving, I told the guy to keep checking on her every 30minutes.

"But it was in the morning she told us that she’s dead. All of us were in shock and fled, but I stayed indoors until the day I was arrested.”

Jideofor, who claimed to be an orphan, regretted the act, saying it was his first experience.

"I must confess that I didn’t plan to kill her. I feel very guilty. This is my first time. I’m 24 years. We had planned to do transfer but she refused to provide the pin number."

Shehu Sani mocks APC over NBS report of 133 million poor Nigerians

Former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has mocked the All Progressives Congress-led federal government over a report by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, stating that 133 million Nigerians are multi-dimensionally poor.

Recall that amid the federal government’s plan to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years, the National Bureau of Statistics has disclosed that 133 million Nigerians are multi-dimensionally poor.

The NBS said the poverty was due to a lack of access to health, education, living standards, employment and security. It also indicated that 65% of poor people— 86 million—live in the North, while 35%—nearly 47 million— live in the South.

However, Senator Sani took to his verified twitter handle to express how the promise to uplift millions of people from poverty has turned around in the opposite direction.

He wrote, “They promised to lift one hundred million people out of poverty; now they have officially thrown one hundred and thirty three million people into deeper poverty''

Stop fooling Nigerians – Wike attacks Atiku for criticizing Buhari

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Thursday slammed the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, for criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari over the lopsided appointment of his government.

Wike, who wondered why Atiku was silent for seven years, dared him to stop fooling Nigerians.

Atiku had slammed Buhari’s government over the lopsided appointment in the country’s security architecture.

Stressing that over 17 heads of security agencies under the Buhari administration are Northerners, Atiku assured that all regions would be represented if he’s elected president.

However, Wike rubbished Atiku’s remark on Thursday in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

Speaking, Wike said: “When I hear people go to town hall meetings and they say all kinds of things they say. They say “I will implement restructuring, they will make sure every zone will have a member in the security council, that it is not good for one zone to produce all the security chiefs.

“Why are Nigerians so gullible that anything they hear they take? If you want to say I will implement this or do this, I will say okay this one you have now start from here. If you cannot do this one, can you do the other one when you are there?

“Nobody should deceive us. There are many people, who have left offices for years; you see those who are surrounding them, are broke. All they want to do is to have the opportunity to come back to power. Nigerians must open their eyes.

“Some people now are criticising Buhari for appointing all the service chiefs from the North, why did they not challenge Buhari since? Election has come and they are talking. Who is fooling who?

“All these past seven years, you couldn’t challenge Buhari of doing that and now the election has come and you want to win our hearts. We know ourselves. Nobody can fool anybody. Some people say they would form a government of national unity. It is not talking, start now to implement it.”

2023: 2,000 southeast businessmen support Tinubu’s campaign with N1bn

Imo state Governor, Hope Uzodimma has revealed that 2,000 Southeast businessmen have supported the presidential bid of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, with the sum of N1 billion.

Uzodimma stated this on Thursday at the town hall meeting between Tinubu and business leaders in the region.

The Director of Media and Publicity, APC Presidential Campaign Council, Mr Bayo Onanuga, stated this in a statement issued Thursday said membership of the group was drawn from the five states of the region.

Uzodinma said: “I am happy to say our people are fully in support of our Presidential candidate who has come to share his vision and plan for Nigeria and South East today.

“To support this aspiration the sum of N1billion naira has been raised by 2000 business owners across the South East states.”

Also, the spokesman for the group, Emeka Mgbudem, said the members contributed N500,000 each because they believe in Tinubu after reading his Action Plan for Nigeria.

He noted that where an Ibo man puts his money, he puts his heart.

Mgbudem however urged Tinubu to remove the numerous checkpoints on the roads in the region and also build the roads linking the state capitals in the region.

Responding, Tinubu pledged to introduce technology in the clearing of goods at the ports that will render unnecessary checkpoints on the roads.

He also promised to run a government where all Nigerians are treated equally.

Shanquella and 6 friends she travelled with

Her parents Bernard and Salamondra Robinson began digging and realized that there was more than the alcohol poisoning they were told led to their daughter's death.

The are now demanding answers in the investigation of their daughter’s death.

On Friday, Nov. 11, Salamondra told Charlotte local news station WBTV 3 that, initially, she was informed her daughter suffered from alcohol poisoning during her trip to Mexico.

Salamondra said: "[I] spoke with her Friday evening (Oct. 28). She was having dinner and I never spoke with her again.

"On Saturday evening, they called and said she wasn’t feeling well, and they were going to call a doctor. And when they called, the doctor hadn’t arrived yet, but they said she had alcohol poisoning."

Shanquella’s group of friends reportedly left her body in their vacation rental and returned home to the United States.

"After they said it was alcohol poisoning, we received the autopsy report on Thursday, and it said that her neck had been broken and she had a back spasm. There was a crack, [her] spinal cord was cracked,” Shanquella's parents told WBTV.

"That took it to a whole ‘nother level because that meant somebody had attacked her," they continued.

"I probably won’t be at ease until someone’s arrested," said Salamondra Robinson, mother of Shanquella Robinson.

The U.S. Department of State is involved in the investigation of the young woman’s death in Mexico.

"We are aware of these reports. Protecting the welfare of U.S. citizens overseas is among our top priorities. Out of respect for the privacy of those involved, we have no further comment at this time," they shared in a statement.

A clip of the Robinson’s interview circulated on social media on Nov. 15.

Since then, a video surfaced online of what appears to be cellphone footage of Shanquella naked, being brutally beaten by one of her friends in a bedroom of their vacation rental in Mexico.

Nigeria has many seaports, not only Lagos – Peter Obi calls for decongestion

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has expressed concern over why the Lagos ports are being congested, even with many other deep seaports across the nation.

Obi, in a post on his social media handle on Wednesday, said the congestion of the Lagos ports had created avoidable bottlenecks in the maritime sector when it comes to imports and exports.

“The Nigeria maritime sector is robust and ought to grow stronger. We are blessed with several deep seaports. However, for some inexplicable reason, we tend to cluster our import and export activities around the Lagos ports, thus creating avoidable bottlenecks,” he said.

The former Anambra governor, in his recommendation, said, “We should decongest Lagos ports via a deliberate policy of incentivizing end-destination priorities.”

This, according to him, would “curtail on-land heavy haulage transshipments that take a toll on our road infrastructure.”
