Right or Wrong? Lecturer Removes Cheat Material from Female Student's Underwear in an Exam Hall

A lecturer at the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, reportedly put his hands into the underwear of a female final year student of the institution who was cheating in an examination over the weekend.

 

Student Pulse gathered from a Leadership report that the incident happened last Friday when students of the institution’s department of Library and Information Science were writing an examination for a course called ‘Entrepreneurship and Information Services’.

The lecturer, identified as Sylvester had found the student, identified only as Oghenero, cheating and forcefully removed the incriminating material from her underwear.

It was reported that the Oghenero had refused to hand over the material as requested by the lecturer, who reacted by dipping his hands into her underwear inside the examination hall after a brief shouting match.

In some countries, Okiemute's intervention may be seen as a case of sexual assault.

Reports say there have been several cases of examination malpractices since the institution began its examinations.

On how she’s coping with her pregnancy, the actress said “I’m coping fine. God has been good to me. My baby has also been easy on me and hasn’t been giving me much stress.”

Stephanie also said “Most importantly, it’s God’s grace, Passion and determination. Also, the feedback I get from people who have been positively impacted by my works gives me that zeal to push even further.”

Kanye West Set To Run For President in 2020

While accepting the Video Vanguard Award during Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West said he felt “conflicted” about interrupting Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs.

“I think, ‘If I had to do it all again, what would I have done?'” mused West, while accepting the annual VMA for overall excellence in music videos.

Later in his speech, he came to this conclusion: “I just wanted people to like me more. But [forget] that, bro! [In] 2015, I will die for the art, for what I believe in. And the art ain’t always gonna be polite.”

Swift, who would win in several major categories (including Video of the Year) Sunday night, presented West with the Video Vanguard Award. She had been at a similar podium six years ago, when West protested her VMAs win for Best Female Video.

“I have been a fan of his, since I can remember, because Kanye defines what is to be a creative force in music, fashion and, well, life,” Swift said Sunday, moments before West took the stage. “So, I guess I have to say to all the other winners tonight: I’m really happy for you, and I’mma let you finish, but Kanye West has had one of the greatest careers of all time!”

Seated next to wife Kim Kardashian West, the rapper grinned during Swift’s tribute and thanked her for being “gracious,” then adopted a more serious tone. He cited some of the turmoil he’s experienced over the past six years, including being booed by tens of thousands of fans at a sporting event.

“You know how many times MTV ran that footage again, ’cause it got them more ratings?” West asked. “You know how many times they said Taylor was going to give me the [Vanguard] award, because it got them more ratings? I still don’t understand award shows.”

He lightened the mood from time to time, admitting to the crowd how he’d “smoked something” before his speech to knock “the edge off,” and encouraged artists to express what they feel in the moment.

At the end of his speech, West spoke of even loftier aspirations. “As you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided, in 2020, to run for president,” said West, who then dropped his mic.

 Who Can Apply

• The merit-based scholarship is in two categories – the National Merit Award (NM) and the Areas of Operation Merit Award, East or West (OE or OW).

1.) National Merit Award (NM) Open to all Nigerians

• Is open to all Nigerians.

2.) Areas of Operation Merit Award, East (OE)

• For Nigerians who are indigenes of SPDC’s operational area in Abia, Akwa Ibom, Imo, Rivers and Bayelsa states (excluding indigenes of Ekeremor and Sagbama local government areas).

3.) Areas of Operation Merit Award, West (OW)

Celine Dion’s husband, René Angélil is battling throat cancer and his final wish is to be with the singer when he passes away.


Recalling their conversation, she said: “I’ll say, ‘You’re scared? I understand. Talk to me about it.’
“And René says to me, ‘I want to die in your arms.’ OK, fine, I’ll be there, you’ll die in my arms.”“He can’t eat so I feed him,” she said. “He’s got a feeding tube. I have to feed him three times a day.”

However, on his instructions, she has returned to Las Vegas for her residency despite it “freaking” him out when she’s not at home with him.

She added to USA Today: “Don’t forget, he’s been the leader of the band all my life. So it [hacks] him off to not see me all day and over here working. But he wants me to do this, do the show, do the interviews. But he freaks when I’m not home with him, too …

“I didn’t want to be here at first, I don’t need it. Don’t get me wrong, I love singing for people, but I have priorities. But René really gave me a gift.

“All my grieving, it was during this last year. I think I’ve got this. For now. When it hits me, it’s going to hit me. But my biggest job is to tell my husband, we’re fine. I’ll take care of our kids. You’ll watch us from another spot.”

The couple married in 1994 after knowing each other for 14 years.
