Awww: Buhari Extends Hand Of Fellowship To Jonathan
BRIEF PRESS STATEMENT BY GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI,GCFR, PRESIDENT ELECT
ON THE PLATFORM OF THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS, APC. MARCH 31ST, 2015
He said that it was exactly 5:15pm yesterday evening when President Jonathan called to congratulate him on his victory. For this, he want all Nigerians to join him in congratulating and appreciating Mr President for his statesmanship.
President Jonathan engaged in a spirited campaign and was a worthy opponent. I extend my hand of fellowship to him. I look forward to meeting him soon as we plan the transition from one administration to another. He will receive nothing but understanding, cooperation and respect from me and my team.
The good people of Nigeria, answered the call of history. When the account of this fine moment is written, it will be said that it was the people themselves who led this nation to democracy.
You stood in line patiently for hours in the sun, rain and then in the dark to cast your ballots. Even when the vote was extended to Sunday in some places, you still performed your civic duty. You did so peacefully. You voted with your heart. Your vote affirms that you believe Nigeria’s future can be better than what it is today.
You voted for change and now change has come.
INEC has released the official results of the Presidential election. INEC has declared that I gained the most votes with the required spread and thus won this election. In a more profound way, it is you, Nigerians that have won. The people have shown their love for our nation and their belief in democracy.
The declaration of INEC accurately reflects the will of the people. While there might have been some logistical obstacles and irregularities associated with the exercise, the result shall stand as what the people want.
I thank all Nigerians who have made this day possible. Our country has now joined the community of nations that have used the ballot box to peacefully change an incumbent President in a free and fair election. To me this is indeed historic.
Most people will welcome the result because it is the one they voted for. Others will naturally be disappointed. I ask that we all be circumspect, respectful and peaceful in these times.
This was a hard- fought contest. Emotions are high. We must not allow them to get the better of us. This is not the time for confrontation. This is a moment that we must begin to heal the wounds and work toward a better future. We do this first by extending a hand of friendship and reconciliation across the political divide. We hope and pray our friends in other parties reciprocate.
I thank all the members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for their commitment and their hard work through the formation of the party, the campaigns and the Presidential elections. Let me equally extend my appreciation to the MEDIA, Civil Society and the Security agencies for their selfless service.
The International press and our friends abroad deserve special commendation for their support throughout the process. We promise a robust and dynamic engagement with your countries in matters of mutual interest to nations.
In the interim, I call on all Nigerians to be law abiding and peaceful. The eyes of the world were focused on us to see if we could vote in a peaceful way and carry out a representative election in an orderly manner. You have proven to the world that we are a people who have embraced democracy and a people who seek a of government by, for and of the people.
We have put one party state behind us. You have voted for a party and president that will serve and govern but never rule over you. Change has come. A new day and a new Nigeria are upon us. The victory is yours and the glory is that of our nation – Nigeria
I will make a more formal address to the nation tomorrow which is today after receiving the certificate of return from INEC.
May God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Awesome: Identical Triplets Gets Married on the Same Day and Same Time (PHOTOS)
29 year old triplets, Rafaela, Rochelle and Tagiane Bini from Passo
Fundo, southern Brazil, tied the knot same day at the same ceremony,
wore the same wedding dress, as well as hairstyle and makeup and
confused not just their guests but also their grooms who also looked
strikingly similar.
The only way guests could distinguish one bride from the other at the ceremony on Saturday was the different colour of bouquet they carried. Even the grooms - Rafael, Gabriel & Eduardo, said they had worried they might mix up their wives-to-be when it came to exchanging vows. One of the grooms, Rafael, who married Rafaela, told how the girls sometimes deliberately confused their finances.
He said 'There was a time when we were all in the kitchen making dinner. So Rochele, who is Gabriel's, was doing stuff at the sink, and Rafaela was at the stove. We were there chatting and they changed places. I went behind to hug her, and said "oops" when I realized I'd got the wrong girl.'
The girls explained how they all went together to get their hair and make-up done with the intention of looking different.
But, said Rochele, 'We tried a number of styles, but we all liked the same one. It's not even worth trying, it always ends up like that.'
Their parents, Pedro and Salete, already had one daughter, Liziele, when they decided to increase the family - but never imagined three more girls would come at once.
Mother Salete fainted when she was told she was expecting triplets, according to the girls.
Rafaela was the first to find her future husband, Rafael, ten years ago while studying at university. A year later, Rochele got together with Gabriel.
It was parents Pedro and Salete who suggested the girls all get married together after Tagiane also got engaged to Eduardo.
The only dilemma for Pedro, a farmer, was how he would walk all three daughters down the aisle at once.
He said: 'We decided that we would all walk down the aisle until half way down the church. From there, I would take one at a time.'
The first to be taken to the altar by their father was Tagiane, who was the first to be born. She remembered: 'I tried to hold back my emotion, but I couldn't. To see my dad there, at that moment, was a feeling I can't explain

I Regret My Actions and I Won’t do That Again- PDP Agent, Mr Orubebe
Former Niger Delta Affairs Minister Elder Godsday Orubebe last night apologized for his action during the release of elections results in Abuja.
Mr. Godsday Orubebe said he’s sorry for his actions and he won’t do that again.
Orubebe who accused INEC boss, Prof Attahiru Jega for being partial and tribalistic told reporters that ”Election is a passionate thing and I really regret what took place this morning. I was unnecessarily pushed by Jega to get to that level. I want to apologize particularly to young Nigerians that look up to take politics as a career to say that what happened was not intended to cause them any embarrassment. To Nigerians generally, I regret my actions even as an elder in the church, and a leader, the young men expected to see a lot from me and I believe that if there was any disappointment they got from me, I apologize to Nigerians and to the youths of this country.”
“We have always talked about peace in this country and remember that when there was crisis in the Niger Delta, I was one of the architects that sacrificed to get the creeks to tell the militants that we need peace in this country alongside President Goodluck Jenathan.”, he added
On President Goodluck Jonathan’s sportsmanship attitude, he said: “Two things are in place. The president is the president of everybody. As a statesman and as a president; he has done what he should do.”
Photo - Bruce Jenner Breast Implant Surgery: Already Completed?
Bruce Jenner‘s transition to a woman is nearing completion, according to a bombshell new report claiming he has already undergone breast implant surgery.
After a series of "smaller feminization procedures," Radar claims that the former Olympic decathlon champion has successfully had breast implants put in.Not that you're likely to see him walking around flaunting those things like Kim, her step daughter as the celebrity news site alleges he opted for a subtler look.
“Bruce had silicon breast implants put in a few weeks ago,” an insider said. “He went with a smaller implant because he didn’t want to look ridiculous.”
“Recovery hasn’t been that difficult, but Bruce has had to sleep in a recliner to help with the healing,” the source said, and that mostly means rest.
“This is a very exciting but scary time for Bruce,” the insider went on. “But his sons Brandon and Brody have been taking care of him at his Malibu mansion.”
“He’s not allowed to lift anything, and he has to wear a bra 24/7, but he’s expected to resume normal activities in the next six weeks. He has been emotional."
"Finally," though, "he feels like this is the body he has meant to have."
In recent months, as Bruce sex change rumors have reached a fever pitch, he has had his Adam’s apple shaved down, and a nose job to boot.
At least that's what's been reported. He has yet to confirm any of this.
Up next, a “full gender reassignment surgery” to take place in May or June, after which he may have another breast augmentation to upgrade his cup size.

Congratulation: Dr Sid Graduates As A Director From The New York Film Academy
Adorable: North West Goes Easter Egg Hunting
Kim Kardashian has made it impossible to make fun of her.
For the following few moments, at least. That's because the reality star has posted what may be the cutest North West photos yet online, sharing shots of her young daughter going on an Easter Egg hunt.
Just look at that furry pink basket! And that glorious smile!
"My baby girl on the hunt for Easter eggs at the farm! #PerfectSunday #GettingReadyForNextWeek #SpringTimeEasterFestival," wrote the 34-year-old mother as a caption to one of the images.
Kim and Kanye’s offspring donned a small white t-shirt while spending some with a friend named Ryan, along with some jean shorts and cute sneakers.
"Northie was so proud of all of the eggs she found! She wouldn't stop talking about it all night!" Kim wrote as another caption, once again making it hard for us to mock her in any way.
What can we say? We're suckers for 21-month olds.
And we feel very badly for North West as well.
We pray she enjoys this young and innocent time in her life, before she realizes who her parents are and before she's able to Google the words ''Kim Kardashian nude''.
Hey, look at that! Turns out we were able to make some fun of Kim Kardashian after all.
