7 Habits That Wrecks Your Teeth

Beaming with a sweet smile that is adorable comes with a good set of teeth…which makes taking great care of that part of the body very necessary.

Here are some of the common things we enjoy doing with our teeth which we have little or no idea the damage it does;

Chewing on Ice
It’s organic and also mister free, to think ice will be benign. However munching on difficult, iced cubes can chip or even crack your the teeth. In case your brainless chomping irritates your delicate structure in the tooth, typical toothaches might follow. Very hot food items and also chilly food items might bring about rapid, sharpened jabs connected with pain or maybe a lingering toothache. The next occasion you get your need for ice, chew on many sugarless chewing gum instead.

Bedtime Bottles
It’s never too early or late to protect your teeth. Offering your baby some sort of going to bed bottle regarding liquid, dairy, or solution, may put completely new enamel on a path to corrosion. The little one can become used to dropping off to sleep with the bottle in his or her lips, bathing tooth in sugar instantaneously. Make sure you hold baby bottles out of your baby crib. And for adults, never chew or take liquids, especially sugar-based liquids when you are ready for bed except you will not mind brushing all over again.

Cough Drops
Surprised? Just because cough drops are sold in the medicine aisle doesn’t mean they’re healthy. Most are loaded with sugar. So after soothing your throat with a lozenge, be sure to brush well. Whether the sugar comes from a cough drop or a hard candy, it reacts with the sticky plaque that coats your teeth. Then bacteria in the plaque convert the sugar into an acid that eats away at tooth enamel.

Opening Stuffs With Your Mouth
Cracking open container lids or plastic-type presentation using your teeth might be hassle-free, but this can be one behavior that makes dental practices cringe. Utilizing your teeth seeing that methods could make them fracture or computer chip. As a substitute, keep scissors along with container openers practical.

Fruit Juice

Fruit juice is loaded with vitamin products in addition to antioxidants, although sad to say many state of mind are also loaded with sweets. Many state of mind will surely have all the sweets for each helping since soft drinks.  Fruits usually are naturally special, consequently search for liquid which includes no additional sweets. It’s also possible to slow up the sweets content simply by diluting liquid with some drinking water.

Potato Chips

Your microbes within plaque will break up starchy ingredients straight into acidity. That acidity can invade a tooth for 20 minutes or even longer.  Sometimes, the grains of chips can be stuck between enamel sticking to it for a really long time. You might want to floss right after feeding on french fries or additional starchy ingredients that will tend to find stocked in the enamel.

Smoking

Smokes, along with cigarette smoking merchandise, can make your pearly white teeth to be discoloured as well as lead them to drop out as a result of teeth sickness. Cigarettes also can trigger cancer in the oral cavity, mouth, as well as tongue. When you had been looking for an additional reason to stop, imagine your look.
Can you see now? Great teeth are not hard to come by. Just like your face and every other part of your body that you count important, your teeth are also an important part of your body also, so take good care of it!

Foods for healthy eyes, better vision

Carrots: These orange coloured vegetables are packed with beta carotene (carotene actually comes from carrots, hence the name) and antioxidants to help fight degenerative eye diseases such as cataracts and macular diseases. They are easy to add to any dish or salad, but if you don’t like them whole or solid, carrot juice is a great option. After all, most food supplements or child drinks have carrot juice as a main ingredient.

Bell peppers: Bell peppers are excellent sources of vitamin C, a crucial element for keeping a healthy vision. Also, they are high in antioxidants and other vitamins that will protect your eyes.
They can be eaten fresh in salads, sauces, and sandwiches or cooked in stews or even an addition for meat plateaus or steaks. They are the ideal ingredient for having great eyesight.

Poultry meats — turkey, chicken or ostrich: Poultry is the lean and healthy substitute for the red, fatty meats you usually come across in dishes, including beef, pork or lamb. Ostrich meat is also packed with zinc, potassium, proteins and iron which are key elements for having excellent eyesight. Zinc is a crucial mineral found in the retina and it causes enzyme production which is related to having healthy eyes. Also, iron helps fight ocular degeneration, keeping eyes healthy even during old age. Turkey and chicken also have high amounts of zinc, but as a plus, are also rich in a variety of vitamins such as Vitamin B, niacin and vitamin E. These are essential in fighting cataracts and other debilitating eye diseases.

Spinach: Spinach is literally packed with almost every vitamin out there, but the key components are vitamin C, lutein, zeaxanthin and beta carotene. Also, spinach has a high concentration of antioxidants that will help fight macular degeneration. Zeaxanthin and lutein increase the pigment density in the macular area, which acts as a natural sunscreen for the eyes, absorbing 40 to 90 per cent of the dangerous blue light spectrum rays.

Sweet potatoes: Here comes another high beta carotene food for great vision. The bright orange coloured flesh of these vegetables is packed with this important element.

Fish — salmon and sardines: Fish, in general, has high amounts of healthy omega 3 fats, essential for any healthy lifestyle. But salmon and sardines are even better, having a higher amount of omega 3 fats, which will ensure a healthy vision. Omega 3 fats work by protecting the tiny blood vessels that surrounds and are buried in the eyeball.

Elephant Rescued from Tortured Captivity in India, Cries Tears of Joy

As we've learned in the past, it doesn't get much sadder than seeing an elephant cry.
Unless that elephant just got set free after 50 years of painful captivity.
Such is the case for Raju, an animal who had been held in spiked chains, often beaten or otherwise abused until the organization Wildlife SOS conducted a midnight rescue mission to save the elephant from the Uttar Pradesh area in India.
In darkness on July 4, a group of veterinarians and wildlife experts freed Raju from his horrible existence, watching in awe and heartbreak as the creature cried tears of joy at the scene.

Description: Raju the Elephant

Raju is now free. This poor elephant was held captive and tortured for over five decades.
"Raju has spent the past 50 years living a pitiful existence in chains 24 hours a day, an act of intolerable cruelty," Wildlife SOS spokesperson Pooja Binepal said. "The team were astounded to see tears roll down his face during the rescue. It was so incredibly emotional for all of us. We knew in our hearts he realized he was being freed."
Binepal believes Raju had been poached as a young calf and sold as a tourist attraction.
He lived without regular shelter, only eating what pedestrians passing by would give him.
"The chains around his legs had spikes which were cutting into his flesh - and each time he moved pus would ooze out of wounds. Pain and brutality were all he knew. His cruel handler even tore out the hair from his tail to sell as good luck charms," Binepal says. "The exploitation and abuse just had to stop."
Wildlife SOS brought Raju 350 miles away to the charity's Elephant Conservation and Care Centre at Mathura.
He was fed there, given a bath and he now “knows what freedom is,” Pooja says. “He will learn what kindness feels like and what it's like to not suffer any more."
Once Raju is rehabilitated, he will join two other elephants the charity has saved, living out his days in peace and happiness.
Says Binepal: "We all had tears in our eyes as the last rope, which held the final spike, was cut - and Raju took his first steps of freedom."
