How A Pastor, Wife Escaped Abuja Bomb Blast By Air Breath
It must have been the grace of God that saved Pastor Avanti Jonas and his wife, Alice who escaped the bomb explosion that rocked the federal capital territory yesterday leaving scores dead and many injured. It was a gory scene as rescue workers had to rush victims to the Abuja general hospital in droves.
National Enquirer gathered that the Pastor and his wife who got married last year, 2013 had gone to pick just few stuff at the popular, Emab Plaza which was the original target of the suicide bombers before it escalated and spread to Banex. And since the couple wasn’t buying so much, they agreed that the wife sit back in front of their Toyota 4 x 4 truck which was parked directly opposite the plaza while the Pastor- hubby quickly dashed in.
And no sooner the Pastor left the shopping center than the bomb exploded and the man of God escaped by the whiskers thinking that his wife had been caught in the web of the disaster. According to an eye witness account, the pastor had even started mourning his wife, crying uncontrollably at the sight of a corpse which looked like his wife until he saw the watch on the woman left wrist, he was later convinced the corpse was not his wife.
Meanwhile, the wife too was so confused and thought her husband had perished in the bomb blast but as fate would have it, they finally saw each other and gave thanks to the Almighty. The wife, we gathered had to run for dear life by squeezing herself out of the window of the truck, the windshield got shattered and the truck was almost a total wreck. The couple who run Hephzibah church located in Kado area of Abuja has since been full of praise for the amazing wonder and second chance the Lord has given them.

German Newspaper Claims Ghana Drew With Germany Because Of Their Juju Man (PHOTO)
This man, popularly known as Kpa who stays in
Nima, a die-hard Ghanaian supporter who has been supporting Ghana at
every world cup made news when he painted his face and dressed like a
voodoo man to support the Ghana Black Stars. He was all on social media
after their first match as a juju man sent over to Brazil by the Sports
Ministry.
After their tough match with Germany which
ended up in a draw, a German newspaper decided to feature him and
attribute their good play to the mere supporter.
Hahaha. The photo above
says it all. Another photo of him kissing a girl below:
Photos: Man Who Tried To Save Alligator Gets 80 Stitches
Drunk Glen Bonnie and some of his friends while returning
home after a few drinks found an 11 foot alligator on the highway and thought
the only way they could help the animal was for them to get him safe off the
road.
They parked and Bonin and his friends concluded that, once
they succeed in covering his eyes with a white t-shirt, they will pull it by
the tail and drag him off the road. Sadly, their plan didn’t work. As Bonnie
tried to move closer to him, the alligator grabbed him and left him with 80
stitches.
Bonnie concluded by saying, he learnt his lesson the hard
way.

Reasons To Give That Older Man A Chance To Love You
A mature man is more than just a robust bank balance. He’ll be empathetic, wise and secure in himself – at least in theory. He might have a few grey hairs, but they’ll just lend him an air of Clooney-like sophistication. If you’re tired of dating men who bring out your mothering side, here are our reasons to try someone a little more mature.
1. He’ll make you feel young. However many candles are on your birthday cake, the older man will always think of you as being youthful.
2. Older guys have more to talk about. Those extra few years of life experience make all the difference during potentially awkward first dates.
3. He has his own place. You’re definitely less likely to find an older man who’s still shacking up with his parents or his mates. If you appreciate time alone, an older guy could be a great option.
4. He’s not going to change. A younger man may change as time goes by and you could grow apart, but if the older man you’ve met has a lust for life despite his age then time certainly isn’t slowing him down.
5. He knows where he’s going in life. An older man has direction, unlike his younger counterparts who may flit from one career to another – or worse still, flit from being gainfully employed to asking to borrow money.
6. As men age they become less obsessed by appearance. Experience will have taught them that a superficial sheen doesn’t really count for much when finding that perfect someone. Looks fade, but personalities don’t.
7. An older man will be at the right level of maturity. A study commissioned by Nickelodeon UK found that men remain ‘immature’ well into their early 40s, while women mature at an average age of 32.
8. Less jealousy. Forget about dating insecure guys who are worried you’re going to leave them for someone new. The older man is confident in himself and why you chose him.
9. Meeting the parents is easy with an older man. He’ll have plenty in common with them – perhaps too much. Beat a hasty retreat if they start reminiscing about how much cheaper things were back in the day.
10. He’s well mannered. Old school manners to go with an old school kinda guy. If you’re interested in finding someone who’ll hold the door open for you or pull your chair out, the older gentleman could be the one for you!
11. Men get more attractive as they age. Okay, so hair loss and beer-bellies aside, people often say that men are like good wine – getting better with age. Not only that, but many older men are ready to settle down. If you’re looking for something serious, an older guy really is an attractive choice.
12. Regular partying not really your thing? Chances are the older man won’t be banging on about his drunken nights out and the sordid activities of all his friends.
13. An older man will expect you to have lived. This isn’t a requirement for you to have scaled Everest or solved Fermat’s Last Theorem. It means instead that he won’t balk if you’ve been through some tough times. He probably has too.
14. He’s experienced in the bedroom. Time, practice and knowledge all make for a great love making experience – he’s had time to perfect his techniques!
15. He’s well-read. Okay, it’s a smallish point. But when it comes to a little down-time, the older man has had a lifetime worth of great movies, books and music to listen to. Maybe he can introduce you to something you’ve never heard of before!
Have you tried dating an older man? Was the age difference an issue?
Scholes: Suarez an embarrassment and should be banned
The ex-England star believes that the 10-match
suspension the Uruguay striker previously received for biting Branislav
Ivanovic wasn't enough given his latest indiscretion
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes believes Luis Suarez is an embarrassment and should be given a lengthy ban following his latest biting controversy. The Liverpool striker allegedly bit Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini while representing Uruguay on Tuesday, with the Juventus man seeming showing the referee bite marks on his shoulder after the incident.
And Scholes feels that suspending the forward for the remainder of the World Cup is not an option as well as feeling that the 27-year-old has tainted the memories supporters will have of his career.
"Suarez embarrassed his club, country and family,” he told Paddy Power.
"Banning him for the rest of the World Cup is not enough, because Colombia will beat Uruguay in their next game anyway.
"He will feel terrible, and the entire incident is such a shame because he’s a tremendous player. But people will remember Suarez now for his biting antics at this World Cup rather than his supreme footballing ability."
Scholes also commented that the 10-match ban that Suarez received for biting Branislav Ivanovic in 2013 "obviously wasn't enough."
Suarez has until 22:00CET to respond to Fifa's decision to open disciplinary proceedings against him, with a ban of up to two years a possibility. (goal.com)
Big Brother Africa Killed Them: Ghanaian Celebrities Whose Career Crashed Because Of The Show
These days people want fame, and will choose
fame over anything, the sad part is most people who want to be famous
don’t even have a plan. They look up to the lavish and show-off
lifestyles that famous people are living on someone’s pocket. Big
Brother Africa since it’s inception has been one of the many ways most
people including celebrities think they could extend their art to Africa
and the funny part of is, 99% of them come back to something they never
wished for.
We hear Big Brother Africa is coming on again
and people showing interest in it. Then again, why would anyone waste three months of their
time fighting over something that has no strategy or plan?
Let’s take a look at some Ghanaian
celebrities who came back from the show with shattered dreams and their
dreams of ever becoming an African star lasted only for 15 minutes.
Let’s take a walk
BOMAYE
He came through with his American accent, thinking that was what it takes the win the competition, he failed badly. Got kicked to the curb, came home to start his own reality show which was heavily criticized because it lacked substance and had too much adult scenes.KWAKU T
Just like Bomaye, he thought American slangs
was the way out. He was kicked to the curb and lost everything he worked
hard for. He is hardly recognized in Ghana and we hear he has moved to
South Africa to pursue a radio career.
ELIKEM
The only thing Elikem gained from the show was probably getting a woman to marry. He wasted a whole three months and not even a promised date was given to him. He claimed he inked a deal to cloth the Black Stars but we doubt he will sell a shirt for a $1,000 — even the players haven’t been paid. His fame lasted only for two minutes until recently that he proposed at the Ghana Music Awards just as we know for attention.EAZZY
She had a music career which wasn’t bad at
all. She thought Big Brother was the right shot for her to take her
music to Africa but your guess is as good as ours, she went and
embarrassed herself, had sex on TV. Came back and lied to us about
inking deals in South Africa and more. We never saw any of them coming
to pass … her boyfriend who she went into the show with, Keitta also
dumped her … poor Eazzy!
CONFIDENCE
By far, the oldest woman to take part in the show (she actually lied about her age in the show). She went and showed her “fake boobs” to the world, her English even sucks, I don’t know whose idea was it for her to take part but she was dropped weeks after in the show, came back to a big disgrace and her business started falling, her Night Club which was the hottest was never the same.MIMI
She calls herself “divalish” but the truth is
we don’t see that in her. After the show, she was lucky to get a hit
song thanks to the magic hands of Richie and the exceptional writing
skills from Chase but that was just hit, she released a couple of
singles, tried other businesses and even changed her name but none of
them favored her … Sigh!
SELLY
She is by far the “saddest” of them all, she was a nobody and thought Big Brother Africa was her best shot to fame. She went into and had sex with a guy who claims she gave him an STD. She came back, lied about the “jiggy” bit and threatened to sue the guy. Faded singer, Praye Tietia had no choice than to take her like that *sobs* — she claims she has been in a couple of movies but we don’t know if it’s every going to be released.KEITTA
Another useless fella who thought taking
advantage of singer Eazzy and Big Brother Africa was his way to stardom.
Keitta claimed he was a fashion designer but nobody have seen what he
designs yet. He went into the show to exhibit his dirty lifestyle. He
came out, tried music — failed — tried selling t-shirts — failed — tried
to use his brother’s (Reggie Rockstones) club and fame — failed —- dude
actually said he was going to change the Ghanaian entertainment
industry, our only question is, how was he planning to do that with his
talentless ass? SMH .. talk is cheap, they said!
DKB
He was an aspiring comedian who was on his
way to the top, He took part in the show and his ugly attitude got him
sacked. Whilst in the show he talked about how he used to steal stuff
from Shoprite. He also slapped a girl who he claims came to peep whilst
he was bathing. This got him disqualified. DKB’s comedy career was never
the same. His fame was short-lived just like each of the above.
SAMMY B
He is by far the only person who is still on his grind after the show. Maybe or not, his career didn’t depend on it. He has been in the game twice. Still does commercials for Globacom, does his radio gig and his occasional song releases. What people need to know is, the organizers of these shows are making millions from people’s stupidity, thinking it will make them famous, none of these guys ever won but wasted their precious time in the show. Fame is not the only way my fellow Ghanaians. A report after the recent Big Brother Africa show had it that they made over $10,Million from the show whilst over 15 grown men and women are fighting over less than 1% of that money, having sex and showing their nudes for the whole of Africa to see. “Dbanj should stop copying Donjazzy”-Egor Efiok reacts to Tonto Dikeh’s new song
Egor
Efiok,Publicist to stars like Oge Okoye has reacted to Tonto Dikeh’s
song ‘Sugar Rush’ featuring Dbanj..She claims it is a rip-off of
Donjazzy’s Dorobucci..
Here is what she wrote:
“I think Tonto is
okay on her own, so this isn’t about her.I have disliked D’banj since he
stabbed his true friend, Don Jazzy, in the back. He’s also very
arrogant, while Don Jazzy on the other hand, is extremely humble.D’banj
signing on Tonto and adding the corny ‘Lee’ after all their names is
reminiscent of the talented Mavin group and the ‘Doro’ prefixes to their
names; albeit a poor copycat version.D’banj should be ashamed of
himself. He abandoned Don Jazzy for Kanye and after the latter dumped
him, he came back to Nigeria with his tail between his legs. He wasn’t
even invited to their wedding.D’banj has been doling out crap since he
left Don Jazzy and even spoilt Iyanya’s Kukere with his nonsense remix.
D’banj should stick to being a businessman and stop copying Don Jazzy.
If he clips his ego and goes back to beg IDJA, I’m sure he’d take him
back cos he has a good heart.#TeamDonJazzy #TeamMavin”

Relationship and Dating Advice from The Guy’s Perspective: Dating Older Men
So you want to date an older man? Okay. But first, let’s not confuse this with dating an old man. If you’re into that sort of thing, you’re on your own.
We think the best way to approach this topic is breaking it down by relative age.If you’re under the legal age—which means you’re in high school— you should not be dating an older guy…period. Most freshman and sophomore boys are harmless enough because they are paralyzed by breasts, walking around like zombies carrying their books in front of their privates hiding what’s obvious to everyone around them. But junior and senior guys are more savvy. Their confidence is attractive to you, but that’s why you need to stay far away. They are like just born nomadic vampires with hypnotic powers they can’t control. You might think you’re mature enough to handle them but you’re not. These guys, no matter how cool they seem, are interested in you for one thing, and we hope you’re at least old enough to guess what that is.
Once you’re in college, the game changes, but that doesn’t mean you’re still better off with someone at least close to your age. Especially be wary of your professor that seems a bit too hip, a bit too accessible, a bit too in touch with young people. His hair isn’t really a bushy mane of black hair, but a mirage of hair dye and developer. And he wears those tinted glasses to cover the dark circles under his eyes, while also allowing him free reign to scan for the most alluring co-ed he can find. And that flashy sports car? It’s nice, but he has little money left over to spend on you. Our suggestion: Best to stick with the geeky science major in the adjacent dorm.
Once you’re out of college and comfortably ensconced in your twenties, dating an older guy might not be a bad thing. Guys take a while to mature, and they lag considerably behind women in emotional maturity by five, maybe ten years. So feel free to trade up. But be careful once again. If he’s more than ten years older than you, he’s likely not looking for “The One.” More like Some One. Or anyone.
Once you’re in your thirties and beyond, it’s all good. Older guys will likely appreciate you for some of your more refined qualities. Your ability to have an intelligent conversation will be just as sexy as a low cut blouse, and it will be refreshing to you to actually have someone look you in the eyes while you’re talking.
If you’ve recently retired and are in your golden years, ignore what we said earlier. It’s likely there won’t be very many older guys around, since most of them will have met their great maker, now sitting around a heavenly poker table playing cards for eternity. In that case an old guy will do just fine. However, you might be surprised if you realign your thinking. You might want to consider a younger man, since he’ll be attracted to your sophistication, and knowledge of the finer things in life. And of course it’s easier than you might think, because afterwards he’ll then be able to brag to his friends about the experience, which is half the reason guys do half of the things they do.
Until next time. This is The Guy’s Perspective.
Is Nollywood actress, Chika Ike pregnant?
Popular actress, Chika Ike shared some photos of herself on set of her new movie with, veteran actress Liz Benson and actor Joseph Benjamin.
From her Instagram which read:
