Your pubic hair is not an ordinary hair. The importance of the pubic hair is many.
Pubic hair is something every normal person will encounter starting from their teenaged years into adulthood. Some even experience earlier - that is before even they enter the teenage years.
This hair in all humans is always found in the pubic regions: the genital area, the crotch and some can even have pubic hair growing inside of their legs.

Pubic hairs usually begin to develop on the onset of puberty. According to experts, the reason pubic hair would start growing on an individual during this period is because of the increasing levels of androgens once a person begins entering puberty. What happens is that at this stage, the body will begin to produce higher levels of androgens, which is a sex hormone, and as a result of the production of these sex hormones known as androgens, the skin around the genital area would be forced to start producing thick and curly hairs. The hair growth soon becomes faster, thicker and rougher as the years go by and the person grows into adulthood.

Pubic hair varies from individual to individual. Some people might have their pubic hair to be thick and curly or straight whereas others may have theirs to be sparse and curly or straight. It all depends on the person’s body type.
Race and ethnicity is also said to be a major player in the differences associated with our pubic hairs.
So what really are the functions of the pubic hair? What are the importance of pubic hairs? Why in the first place do we have pubic hair?
First it must be known that our pubic hairs play very vital roles for us in our day to day existence – roles that we tend to overlook and not appreciate. Here are some of the vital functions of the pubic hair that you have growing in your pubic regions:

• First of all having pubic hair, according to experts is a very vital thing and it helps significantly to protect your pubic regions from several forms of infections, rashes and even acne. According to scientists, had we not had pubic hairs then our pubic regions would have been seriously damaged by various forms of infections. They also say that pubic hairs help protect against serious levels of irritations.

• Having pubic hair of course makes us feel that we are mature. This is a psychology importance of our pubic hair. The moment a child begins to notice the growth of pubic hair on him or her then the child begins to feel that they are growing into adulthood and should therefore behave appropriately.

• Pubic hairs also do a great deal of job in the protection of parts of our pubic area that are quite very sensitive.

• Also massive pubic hair is attributed in keeping our pubic regions warm during extremely cold conditions such as winter. This is an advantage I guess every one of us must have experienced. Imagine how that place would feel like without the pubic hairs.

• In several cultures around the world men who shave their pubic hairs entirely are considered weaklings and feminine. So men in such regions greatly respect their pubic hairs and leave them unshaved.

• According to studies, some men and women find it really appealing and attractive in one another.
According to history, in the olden days, some people used to use the hair of their partners as souvenirs of their affection to one another. Some men also placed used these hairs as talismans that they believed would protect them from danger or evil forces.

Our pubic hair as you can see plays a lot of vital functions and roles for us, hence it is not just an ordinary hair situated in your pubic region. The importance of pubic hair are many as you have already seen above.

'Do Not Eat Suya Without Onion, Cabbage' - Nutritionist Warns

A nutritionist, Prof. Ignatius Onimawo has advised regular consumers of grilled and barbecued beef and chicken popularly called  suya, to always eat the delicacy with generous portions of the slices of onions, cabbage, tomatoes and other vegetables.

Suya

Speaking during a workshop organised by Coca-Cola Nigeria for health writers in Lagos, Onimawo, who is a Professor of Nutrition and Director of Academic Planning at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State said research has shown that while there is a strong link between consumption of suya and increased risk of cancer,  consumption of suya garnished with onions and other vegetables, has a strong cancer-lowering effect.
He said, "Breast cancer is everywhere. It is even killing people in the village. When we carried out studies to try to look at the aetiology of the disease, to find out where it all started, what we discovered was that we could trace the origin to suya consumption."
Onimawo explained that during suya preparation, the meat is cooked over an open fire, and oils from the meat undergo complex chemical reactions that produce toxins that are carcinogenic (cancer-causing) in nature and causes the formation of toxic compounds known as Heterocyclic Amines, HCAs, which are carcinogenic compounds.
He said cancer is due to  oxidative processes in the body and onions are powerful antioxidants that effectively stop the oxidative process triggerred by consumption of suya from taking place.
"The onion and other vegetables are actually added to act as antidote to the effect of the oil from the suya. Onions neutralise the oxidative effect of the chemicals in the oil and help prevent cancer.
"I’m not saying suya is bad, on the contrary, it is a great delicacy, but beneficial only when eaten in moderation and along with the onion and cabbage," he stated.

Man Explains Why He Buried Ex-Customs Official & Daughter Alive

The Lagos State Police Command on Monday paraded a 64-year-old native doctor, Alhaji Olatunji Azeez, who confessed to have killed a retired customs officer, Mrs. Angela Kerry, and her 10-year-old adopted daughter, Obiagulum, on May 10, 2014.
PUNCH Metro had reported on Monday that the decomposed bodies of the woman and her daughter were found in Azeez’s house in Ire Akari Crescent, Ajuwon Akute, Ogun State by operatives of the Lagos State Special Anti-Robbery Squad. The police subsequently marked the building as a kidnapper’s den.

Azeez, an Oyo State indigene with three wives and five children, said he was forced to kill the customs officer and her daughter after she threatened to kill him over a sum of money.
He explained, “I have been a trado-medical doctor for about 30 years, but I knew Angela over five years ago. She initially came to me for protection from family attacks. One of her friends called Lizzy introduced her to me. The relationship began to grow, and she kept patronising me for one thing or the other.
“Then, about three years ago, she mentioned her barreness problem, adding that the daughter that was with her was adopted. I was shocked. But when she told me her age, I told her it was impossible to make her pregnant. But she insisted that prophets in the churches she went had assured her she would get pregnant.”
Our correspondent learnt that Azeez later lied to the woman that she would get pregnant and collected N9m from her for the job.
Azeez added, “I did the normal concoction for her, but it didn’t work because of her age. But I collected the money because I knew if I did not, she would go to where they would collect it. After some months without result, she came to my place to complain. She then demanded a refund, but I told her that I could not repay it. She then began to threaten me. Within a month, I tried to repay N2.5m. On that fateful week, she came back for the remaining N6.5m.
“It was Saturday, May 17. She came with her daughter and insisted that she wanted her balance. She said as a retired customs officer, she could kill me if I didn’t pay back the money. Then I thought, I must kill this woman before she killed me. The hole at the back of my house was not built for killing. It was dug for drainage during rainfallss.”
Azeez added that he went to the backyard, covered the hole with a white cloth that Angela normally saw in another shrine in his house.
He said, “After we talked, we moved with her daughter to the place. I said she should kneel down on the mat with her daughter. She did so and fell into the pit with her daughter. The operation was successful because no member of my family was around in the house.
I then began to cover the pit up with sand. I poured in roughly 50 buckets of sand. The following day, I got two bricklayers to cement the portion. But I had first taken out the belongings she brought.”
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Umar Manko, stated that the police had concluded their investigations on the case, adding that the native doctor was going to be charged to court for murder.
He said, “The woman and her daughter were reported missing on May 10 at the Oko Oba Police Division by the family.
“Azeez was eventually arrested through a tracking device installed on the victim’s Toyota Camry. Azeez, an herbalist, had hypnotized the woman for a long time. He had taken over N200m from her both in cash and property. We discovered he cleverly constructed a well in his house, lured the woman with her daughter into the room, and buried them alive.

“We were able to recover the decomposed bodies of the victims from the well. We also picked their property which was buried along with them. We have finished our investigations, and he will be charged to court for murder. We will leave the rest to be decided by the court.”

I Will Give You 32 million CFA Francs If You Beat Greece - Ivory Coast President Promises

Ivory Coast president Alassane Ouattara has promised his Ivorien national team over 30 million CFA Francs if they qualify for the FIFA World Cup round of 16.

Ouattara said this yesterday and his revelation was revealed to the players by president of the National Assembly Guillaume Soro, when he visited their World Cup home in Sau Paulo.
The Ivorien players are due 16 million CFA francs ($24,400, 17,900 euros) per player if they win against Greece and with the recent incentive, that will double to 32 million CFA francs, FIF revealed on their website.
It was revealed that the new promise was to motivate the players more to go out and give their all to make the next stage of the competition.
Ivory coast are currently second with three points in group C after beating Japan 2-1 and losing to Colombia 2-1. To make the next round the ivoriens need to win, a draw will leave them at 4 points and they will hope Japan doesn’t beat Colombia in their final game.
This money might seem as a paltry sum for some of the big names in the team like Manchester City’s Yaya Toure or Galatasaray’s Didier Drogba who earn more than that monthly but for reserve goalkeeper Sylvain Gbohouo it would be welcomed.

GFA Vows To Take UK Newspaper, Telegraph To Court Over Match-Fixing Allegation

Kwesi-Nyantakyi1
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) says it is dragging the UK newspaper, Telegraph to court to prove allegations its president agreed to fix international matches involving the Black Stars.Kwasi Nyantakyi is incensed by a report he described as “inaccurate”, a “representation of half truths and half lies.”
The football fraternity has been hit by a scandal in which the Telegraph newspaper alleged both in print and online that Ghana’s FA president had agreed to fix matches.

A secret video recording of the meeting accompanied the story which was posted on the telegraph website.
The report claimed “TheTelegraph and Channel 4’s Dispatches launched a six-month investigation into match-fixing after receiving information that some football associations were working with criminal gangs looking to rig scores in international games.
Reporters from The Telegraph and a former Fifa investigator claimed they represented aninvestment company that wanted to “sponsor” games. Christopher Forsythe, a registered Fifa agent, along with Obed Nketiah, a senior figure in the Ghanaian FA, boasted that they could employ corrupt officials who would rig matches played by Ghana.
The president of the country’s football association then met the undercover reporter and investigator, along with Mr Forsythe and Mr Nketiah, and agreed a contract which would see the team play in the rigged matches, in return for payment.
While admitting he met the men involved, Ghana’s FA president said the circumstances under which the meeting was held had been totally misrepresented.
He explained that he met the representatives of the supposed company because of an offer to buy the rights to organise international matches for Ghana, and not to fix them.
He said at no point in that meeting was the assertion of a match fixing made.
“It is not true we have arranged with match fixers,” he swore, insisting the report was not only to impugn his integrity but that of the country.
He said a supposed contract that was to give the rights to the company to organise international matches on behalf of Ghana had been forwarded to the legal committee of the GFA to consider and advice.  That advice was yet to come, he clarified.
Among other invectives, the FA chairman believed the publication by The Telegraph is part of aracist agenda by some English press to divert attention from their poor showing at the World Cup and to “rubbish the achievements of Africans”.
This matter must be resolved in court, he stated adding he will “provide them an opportunity to answer in court.”
The FA spokesperson Ibrahim Sannie Daara told Joy News the Telegraph report was a “crude cut and paste job done” by the newspaper and the website.
He explained the supposed representatives of the company together with Obed Nketiah invaded Ghana’s training ground in Miami, US, without an appointment but the FA president decided to meet with them out of courtesy for the Ghanaian who was with them.
He said the reps came to follow up on the proposal by the company to buy the rights to organise international friendly matches for Ghana and they were told by the FA president that he had not seen the contract which was sent to the FA’s legal team and that the contract was yet to be approved.
Sannie Daara said the Telegraph report deliberately cut out the portion in which the FA president said that the FA’s legal team was looking at the contract and would respond accordingly.
He said contrary to the Telegraph report in UK that a contract had been signed with the Ghana FA to fix international matches, no contract had been signed and that the contract before the FA’s legal committee is a contract to organise international matches and not to fix matches.
The FA spokesperson said they have reported the case to FIFA, CAF and the IGP and soon the two Ghanaian representatives who allegedly met the company on behalf of the FA will be picked up.
He said the Telegraph is now “clutching at straws” and making unfounded allegations.
He said the report has had a toll on the players but said they are trying hard to insulate the players from the situation.
Meanwhile, lawyers for the two Ghanaians involved in the scandal have also described the Telegraph report as “half-baked”.
A statement issued by their solicitor, Tua Yeboah Alfred said they will take action at the appropriate time.
