Queen Elizabeth II to Visit Game of Thrones Set!

Westeros is about to get a visit from some real-life royalty.
According to her official Twitter page, Queen Elizabeth II is such a fan of HBO's most popular series that she's arranged to visit the Game of Thrones set during the filming of season 5.

"As part of the visit to Northern Ireland, The Queen and The Duke will visit the @GameOfThrones set in the Titanic quarter," says the Royal Tweet.
Of course, we're just speculating that Liz II is a fan (because how could anyone not be?!), but we actually have no idea if the 88-year-old monarch has ever seen the series.
We imagine some of the horse-heart-eating, head-smushing shenanigans might put her off her crumpets.
Still, the Queen should have plenty to talk about with the cast, as the Khaleesi herself, Daenerys Targaryen, is believed to be based on her namesake Elizabeth I.
Sadly, that Queen had no dragons and was, in fact, without badass fire-breathing pets of any kind.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 1 Recap: Under Attack

We're off and running killing on True Blood Season 7.
The series set a personal record for Shortest Period of Time Elapsing in an Episode Before Murdering a Main Character, as Tara was destroyed before the opening credits even rolled.
Yes, TARA IS DEAD. Finally! For good this time... we hope!
It must be asked: was a single viewers upset by this development?
 
Sookie, of course, took Tara's death (at the hands of an attacking set of infected vampires) very hard, blowing off Alcide after she read his thoughts and he, along with the rest of Bon Temps, blamed Sookie for this Hep V outbreak.
Seems like a bit of a stretch, doesn't it?
Because Sookie befriended (read: totally boned!) Bill back in the day... she's to blame for out-of-control vampire going crazy in town all these years later?
This led to Sookie and Alcide's first fight, first bit of makeup sex and first look at Anna Paquin's breasts on the show's final season. Who has 17 minutes into the premiere in their office pool?
It's nice to see Sookie and Alcide together, but due to last year's time jump, it's difficult to be invested in their relationship. Because we haven't actually seen it at all.
But the premiere concluded with Sookie giving her fellow citizens an inspiring, self-centered little speech and we can only imagine they'll take up her offer to help with this ongoing vampire problem.
ELSEWHERE:

• Jessica swore to protect Adalind, who couldn't bring herself to hate the beautiful undead redhead, despite that whole murdering-her-three-other-sisters thing.
• Jason finally gave it to Violet, right on the hood of his cruiser.
• The man Sam defeated in the town's Mayoral race witnessed Sam turning into a dog and clearly has it out for the him. He's gotten together his own little human team of vampire hunters.
• Merlotte's is now called Bellefleur's. Nice touch.
• Arlene and Holly were among those taken hostage by the mean vampires.
• Luke, now played by Nathan Parsons of The Originals, told Lafayette how he was turned and how he was thrown out of his house as a teenager for being gay.
• Pam is off in search of Eric... and willing to go to ANY length to track down her Maker.

Delta State Student Sentenced To Death

What a judgement, what a country where everything goes freely. Politicians loot public treasury and move freely without probe and even if the authorities wants to probe them, they are rescued by higher authorities.

Recently, a 22 years old Delta State Polytechnic student, Eguono Akpeghughu, was sentenced to death by hanging by a Warri High Court for armed robbery.

The accused was arrested with the help of a passerby when the victim summoned up courage and grabbed the accused as he made to escape with his loot and raised alarm while his other gang members escaped.

He was found guilty of robbing his victim, George Ogbemudia, of cash and wrist watch worth N1,200, a necklace worth N7,000, Sony Ericsson handset worth N26,000 and N2,000 cash – totaling about N30,000.

Could stealing N30,000 lead to death sentence compared to what our political office holders steal and transferred into foreign accounts?

Does the student truelly deserves to die? Well, this is a country where anything goes. It's left for you to judge.

50 Cent Says Jay Z Is So Overrated

50cent was being too truthful when Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen invited him to play Plead the Fifth on his show.

For his first question, Cohen asked the “In Da Club” rapper what it was like to be yelled at in the face by Beyonce, after his recent revelation about his confrontation with Queen Bey at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve.

“It’s not really bad, like her breath doesn’t smell,” the 38-year-old rapper responded, coolly. “But it’s one of those things, like the paparazzi were taking pictures of us at the same time, so there’s not really a right way to respond. You’ve just got to accept it. You’ve just got to have an expression on your face like, ‘What’s the matter with you?’” It’s like if you’re in an elevator and you’re attacked, you can’t do nothing,” he added, taking a cheeky dig at Jay Z, after his elevator brawl with Solange Knowles.

Moving on, Cohen asked the rapper what sex with Kim Kardashian was like.

“I never….,” 50 Cent replied, insisting reports of a hookup were false. “We took pictures with each other in Australia at the 2008 MTV Awards and I posted the picture,” he insisted.

Onto the final question. “Who is the most overrated Hip Hop star of all time?” asked Cohen.

“I mean Jay Z,” 50 Cent answered without hesitation. “He would say he was overrated. Rather be overrated than underpaid.”

Nigerians have been celebrating the victory of the Super Eagles over Bosnia Herzegovina on Saturday, 21st, June, in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

But what amazed Nigerians most on the social media was when the special advice to the President on media and publicity, Reuben Abati, took to the social media to tweet the picture of the President with his aides jubilating after Osaze's goal.

The Sexiest Parts of the Body Now Revealed by Scientists - The Feet is Least Favorite

The mind, or the brain, is the biggest erogenous zone. I heard this sometime ago, and found it to be true for me. Some scientists, not satisfied with songs or lines in books, decided to research this saying in detail, in particular, how does the brain organise erogenous zones?

These neuro scientists from two British universities and one in South Africa, wanted to know, "Why is a nuzzled neck sexy when few would be turned on by a nuzzled nose? And why do men seem to have fewer erogenous zones than women?"

So they asked 800 people, mostly from Britain and sub-Saharan Africa, to rate about 40 body parts between 1 - 10 on which gave them the most pleasure when touched. Not when they looked at it, but when touched.

According to the Guardian UK, some of the results were as follows;

Three quarters gave their feet the lowest, zero rating – alongside knee caps – which might disappoint those who have invested time and energy in developing their foot massage or toe-sucking techniques.

The fact that people consistently placed feet so low on their rankings of sensitive areas seems to completely undermine previous explanations for the distribution of our erogenous zones, which have suggested that the sensors in our brain that deal with the feet were right next to the sensors in charge of our genitalia.

Another surprise was the consistency of responses. "A lot of people assume that women's bodies are just full of erogenous zones and that men have only one, the obvious one," said Professor Oliver Turnbull of Bangor University's School of Psychology, who led the study and worked alongside scientists from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.

"But this is clearly not the case," said Turnbull. "It's pretty equal, with just perhaps a modest advantage to women – but certainly nothing like the way the sex differences have been so hugely exaggerated."

The scientists were also surprised to see that there were "remarkable levels of correlation" between the ratings for all the people who responded, no matter their age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality or race. Men and women listed the 41 body parts they were asked to rate in remarkably similar order. The obvious bits of genitalia were at the top of the rankings, as were lips, ears and inner thighs, followed closely by shoulder blades.

There were a few major differences between the sexes – the back of the leg was barely acknowledged by women, for instance, while men rated it as important as their ears. Hands were also more erotic for men than for women, researchers found.

"We have discovered from this that we all share the same erogenous zones in at least two very different continents, whether we are a white, middle-aged, middle-class woman sitting in a London office or a gay man living in a village in Africa. It suggests it is hardwired, built in, not based on cultural or life experience," said Turnbull.

With strong rumors circling that she's back together with her famous boyfriend, Selena Gomez celebrated Throwback Thursday this week with a photo that first surfaced in March.

It features the artist sporting a dark corset, with jewelry hanging down her cleavage and a floral cover-up over one shoulder and dark nail polish dotting her hands.

Gomez kept things sexy and mysterious on Instagram, not including a caption with the image.

Gomez and Bieber - who have dated on and off since 2010 - were spotted together on Monday night at a Hollywood club, celebrating the birthday of a mutual friend.

Neither has publicly acknowledged a reconciliation, but Justin Tweeted the word "Love" yesterday and Selena read aloud a romantic poem earlier in the week.

There's little doubt at this point that the pair is hitting it again.

But will this really end well for Gomez?

Those close to the artist speak on how her behavior changes for the worse (drinking, smoking, partying) any time she's with Bieber.

Remember: she entered rehab earlier this year, with many citing her emotional scars from dating Justin as the primary basis for that trip.

And she's already had a house party broken up by the cops since she and Bieber got back together. No good.

Only time will tell what happens with these two stars.

 

Harrysong Debunks Breakup Claim With Kcee

Five Star Recording artiste, Harrison Tare Okiri, popularly known as Harrysong, has debunk claims that he and Kcee were on the verge of breaking up.

According to the ‘Better Pikin’ crooner, Kcee is a different artiste signed to the same platform, so we don’t do the same song but label partners and as such, we are good friends.

He added that KCee has been is friend since his band boy days at Ojez Nite Club. He was always there to watch him perform, and also sprayed him money each time he came, though it was KC Presh then. “I call him brother though he is my friend.”

Harrysong disclosed that since joining 5Starmusic label, his career has grown bigger now. “Harrysong is a better and refined person now. I think I see clearly where I’m going to now. I get to the studio, record some songs, then set some platform for myself and the management takes it from there. So, it’s a platform well put together.”
