Jos Explosions: The Last Words Of Student Who Died In The Blast
Lydia Komolafe, one of the victims of last Tuesday’s twin bomb
explosions at the Terminal Market, Jos, Plateau State, had in weeks
preceding her untimely death lamented the alarming rate of terrorist
attacks in the country.
No fewer than 200 people died in the twin bomb blasts which hit Jos Terminus Market on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, in Plateau state.
Lydia had often penned her thoughts and views on social media. She condemned the Federal Government for allowing the insurgency to thrive by playing the ethnic and political card from the outset, while also expressing concerns that Nigerians were no longer safe in motor parks.
One of her tweets read, "they ignored the red flag for terrorism when it started earlier in Jos and Kaduna. Nobody cared. They called it all kind of names. They called it religion, ethnic, political. We suffered in silence. They shut us up! Now it’s coming closer ‘home,’ the seat of government and everyone is crying wolf! If only we had curbed it earlier!"
She had also expressed concern over the abducted Chibok school girl, joining in the global campaign for the release of the girls.
"Nobody should be punished for going to school! There’s no basis to this kidnap! Our hearts are bleeding. Please bring them alive! May the angels protect them wherever they may be," she had posted on twitter," she had said.
When there was the second Nyanya bomb blast on May 1, Lydia had called on Nigerians to pray for an end to terrorism.
While paying a tribute to the deceased, one of her close friends, Zion Abiodun, described her as a “Yoruba girl who loved the North like anything.”

How To Keep The Love and Romance Strong in Your Relationship
It's a common complaint, one that too many people panic at, and think incorrectly that it means the relationship is failing.
"The magic just isn't there anymore."
"He's not the man I fell in love with."
"When we first dated, my heart beat faster when I saw her. Not anymore."
The common theme in all of these is that things between the two of you just aren't amazing as they used to be. It's not the end of the world, and it is definitely a problem that can be fixed. Using the tips below, you can fix these issues before they become something bigger.
a] Keep kissing. Studies show that couples in failing relationships stop kissing each other on the lips long before they stop having sex. In many ways, kissing is much more intimate than sex.
b] Do little things for each other. Give her a foot rub after a long day at work. Buy him tickets to a sports game, and pretend you enjoy watching sweaty men run around a field wih a ball. The little ways you show you appreciate each other add up, and will bring the romance back into your life.
c] Get away from all other distractions. Rent a hotel room for a couple nights, or find a cheap getaway cruise for three nights. Chances are, you were just too stressed and distracted to fully appreciate your loved one, and time away from work and duties will remind you of what's important.
d] If you need help, seek it. If these things aren't doing it, there's still no reason to become a divorce statistic unless there is truly no other way. Talk to your religious leader, go to a professional counselor, do whatever you need.
e] You will always regret a failed relationship if you don't truly believe you did whatever you could to fix the problems. If he or she is important enough to you, you will do whatever it takes to make things work. Don't give up! There is always hope.
Girl Killed By Her Own Uncle For Ritual Purporses (Must Read)
Boniface Ohakwe, a 35-year-old ritualist, was arrested by police for allegedly killing his 12-year-old niece, Miss Kelechi Ohakwe.
Stricken with grief a father of the girl, Mr. Alex Ohakwe, narrated what happened on the day of the murder. The children, two daughters and son, moved into his brother's room and were watching a movie in the company of their uncle.
When the man lighted a cigarette and started to smoke two of the children immediately left the room as they can't stand the smell. Kelechi who got used to her uncle’s bad habit made a fatal mistake and stayed in place.
Boniface locked the door and only when the girl started to blubber and scream for help, the mother and other relatives rushed to the scene but it was too late. The girl covered with a bed sheet was lying on the floor and showed no signs of life.
When the man realized that his crime was uncovered he started chasing the Alex's wife with a cutlass but his attempt to harm her failed. The girl's father tears in his eyes said that Kelechi was very fond of his uncle and was always ready to help him.
The family still cannot get used to the idea that it was Kelechi's uncle who killed her for some ritual purposes. The matter was reported to the police and the alleged murderer was handed over to law enforcement agents. The police have not yet confirmed the incident. (Naij.com)

Bergh answered:
“Not very often. If you talk to real denim aficionados, they’ll tell you, don’t wash your blue jeans.”Washing denim has always been a complicated and hotly debated issue—how often it should be done, what tools should be utilized, whether or not it collects bacteria, etc.
