Manuel Uribe Dies; World's Heaviest Man Was 48

Manuel Uribe, a Mexican man believed to be the world's heaviest human at one point before dropping some weight in recent years, has died at the age of 48.

According to news reports, his death was confirmed by an official of the health department of Nuevo Leon, where the city of Monterrey is located.
Uribe had slimmed down to about 867 pounds, which was actually well below his then-record peak weight of 1,230 pounds, a Guinness World Record.
Still, Uribe had been confined to his bed, unable to walk on his own. Since 2002, Uribe had been bedridden, relying on his mother and friends to feed and clean him.
The official, who was not authorized to be quoted by name, said Uribe had been taken to the hospital on May 2 because of an abnormal heartbeat.
He had to be taken to the hospital with a crane by emergency and defense workers.
Doctors have not yet certified the cause of death. In addition to a cardiac condition, Uribe was also believed to have suffered from liver problems.
Uribe wed Claudia Solis in 2008, one of the few times he left his home since 2002.
He was a chubby kid, weighing more than 250 pounds (115 kilograms) as an adolescent. Starting in 1992, he said, his weight began ballooning further.
 

I Go Die’ Arrested For Robbery In Delta (A Must Read)

A man nicknamed ‘I Go Die’ (not the popular comedian, Francis Agoda, ‘I Go Dye’) has been arrested in Delta State by the police for an alleged robbery and kidnapping.

‘I Go Die’, whose real name is Oghenewerute Efeyeme, was nabbed alongside his alleged accomplices; Oghenetaga Onome and Voke Erhiaware, popularly known as Simple. They were apprehended on Monday while trying to collect some amount of money from the victim, who they allegedly threatened to kidnap if he fails to part with some cash.

The accused also reportedly carried out a robbery operation along Sanubi/Eku Highway in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, where they allegedly shot and raped their victims.

According to reports, police in the state caught the suspects at St. Bridges’ Secondary School gate, in Asaba, where they had gone to pick the sum of N2million from their victim. They were said to have threatened the victim via a text message.

It was also reported that the Delta State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Celestina Kalu confirmed the arrest and disclosed that the suspects would be charged to court soon.(NigeriaFilms.com)

Rob Kardashian Deletes Past Tweets, Quotes Psalm 33:12

Rob Kardashian made his voice known today for the first time since bailing on his sister's wedding.
As previously reported, the reality star flew home to Los Angeles late Friday night, skipping out on the Kim Kardashian-Kanye West wedding in Florence the following day.
According to TMZ insiders, Rob clashed with his family after he refused to pose for photos with them due to his excessive weight gain.

How did such an argument escalate to the point where Rob would actually peace out of Europe altogether and miss his sibling's big day?
We can't say for certain.
But Rob opened today by Tweeting “good morning from Los Angeles,” only to then delete that message… along with all other previously-written Twitter messages.
He then Tweeted "happy memorial day. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD. Psalm 33:12. Lord Jesus, protect those who protect me- police, firefighters, and those in the military. Teach me to pray for them and to honor them for their service. Amen."
Kardashian wrapped up his post with a simple "GOD BLESS AMERICA."

There's nothing wrong (and a whole lot right) with sending our prayers and thanks to our veterans.
But one has to wonder if Rob Kardashian is on the verge of some kind of breakdown. He's clearly not on the same page with his family. Heck, he's not in the same book.
All other of Kim's siblings, meanwhile, were present for the ceremony.

Pastor Accuses Wife Of Attempting To Destroy His Manhood

Matthew Olumide, a pastor on Monday asked a Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan to dissolve his marriage with his wife, Oluyemisi, for allegedly attempting to destroy his manhood.


The clergy man also told the court that his wife had overwhelmed his life with miseries.
"Oluyemisi exposed me to public ridicule when she tore my clothes, including my underwear, and compressed my testicles. I spent several weeks in the hospital and when I returned, she warned me not to receive visitors if I needed my life. She falsely accused me of having extra marital affair with my church secretary" Olumide said.
The plaintiff further told the court that his wife had ruined his ministry following her domineering attitude, adding that from more than 50 members, his congregation had dwindled to a handful.
"She does not even take care of domestic issues like preparing my food and that of the children anymore. I have to combine all that with evangelism when I should be resting. In fact, she has almost sniffed life out of me" Olumide said.
Oluyemisi, however, told the court that her husband and his family were always beating her.
"He had a wife before he married me, and they are still seeing each other till date. He even invites her to our night vigils. Olumide asked me not to work and yet, he does not take care of me" Oluyemisi said.
Ezekiel Ogundipe, the court's president told the couple to invite their relatives to court on the next adjourned date, and adjourned the case to June 9 for further hearing.

In order to learn more and get prepared for any of these procedures, please study the following algorithms published by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

How to renew a DRIVER’S LICENCE:
Step 1: Apply online at http://www.nigeriadriverslicence.org, fill in the fields of the appropriate form. Print it out upon completion. Don’t forget to print out the payment form as well!
Step 2: Pay the licence fee online or at the designated bank.
Step 3: Present your form to the Board of Internal Revenue Officer or VIO at the Driver's Licence Centre (DLC) for endorsement.
Step 4: Proceed to FRSC Officer at the DLC for Biometric Data Capturing.
Step 5: A temporary driver’s licence, valid for 60 days, will be provided to you.

How to obtain a NEW DRIVER’S LICENCE:
Step 1: Complete training at an accredited driving school.
Step 2: The school would present you to the VIO for driving test.
Step 3: Pass the driving test. The VIO issues you a Certificate of Proficiency.
Step 4: Apply in person at the DLC.
Step 5: Pay the licence fee online or at the designated banks.
Step 6: Present your form to the Board of Internal Revenue Officer or VIO at the DLC for endorsement.
Step 7: Proceed to FRSC Officer at the DLC for Biometric Data Capturing.
Step 8: A temporary driver’s licence, valid for 60 days, will be provided to you.
It would be noted that the latest driver’s licence of Nigeria type is being recognised by three states in the U.S.A., California, Maryland and Washington DC, and seven countries in on the European continent (Austria, Germany, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey). The authorities are doing their best to expand this list.

Elliot Rodger, the son of Peter Rodger who was the assistant director of The Hunger Games have shot seven people dead because he never dated or kissed anyone at 22. Rodger claims no one wanted to date him even when he was still in college and threatened to punish them by killing them.

He posted a video on youtube where he recorded his threats and says he feels lonely and unwanted as a 22-year old virgin.

His family later reported him to the police, but they found him to be a perfectly polite, kind and wonderful person. He also shot himself in the head after killing six.

Below are some of the things he said in one of his YouTube videos;

'I'm 22 years old and I'm still a virgin. I've never even kissed a girl,' he says in the video.

'College is the time when everyone experiences those things such as sex and fun and pleasure. But in those years I've had to rot in loneliness. It's not fair. You girls have never been attracted to me.

'I don't know why you girls aren't attracted to me. But I will punish you all for it,' he says in the video, which runs to almost seven minutes. He promises to 'punish' women and lays out a 'retribution' plan.

'I'm going to enter the hottest sorority house of UCSB and I will slaughter every single spoilt, stuck-up, blonde s*** that I see inside there,' he says.

'All those girls that I've desired so much, they would have all rejected me and looked down on me as an inferior man if I ever made a sexual advance towards them.

'I'll take great pleasure in slaughtering all of you. You will finally see that I am, in truth, the superior one. The true alpha male.

 

'Yes... After I have annihilated every single girl in the sorority house I will take to the streets of Isla Vista and slay every single person I see there. All those popular kids who live such lives of hedonistic pleasure...'
