Is Wizkid’s Former Girlfriend, Tania Omotayo Now MTN Ambassador?

With the way things are presently going, Tania Omotayo, reported estranged girlfriend of sensational music star in Nigeria, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, may be enjoying the spotlight, which has made some to conclude that she is desperate to become a star in Nigeria by just being the ‘ex-lover’ of the Star Boy boss, Wizkid.

Since their reported breakup, Tania has been seen with some top celebrities in Nigeria. At a club, she was with Don Jazzy as well with others.

Last week, the beautiful lady went on Instagram promising to give out the sum of N300,000 to two lucky fans, but on the condition that they must own an MTN line.

About 24 hours after her post, two lucky winners emerged and they were presented with N150,000 each by the lady. This has now raised several questions as to whether Tania is now an MTN brand ambassador.

From the picture taken with one of the winners, Tania and the lucky dude were standing in front of an MTN board, which was autographed.

Tania and Wizkid enjoyed the best of time together as lovers and both attended gigs together. They were also sharing their intimate pictures on the internet. No explanation is given yet as to why their romance crashed, but both parties may have moved on with their separate lives.

More and more dramatic stories and images come from Chibok, Borno State, where the horrible mass kidnap of over 200 female students was accomplished by the Islamist Boko Haram sect one month ago.

An aggrieved father of a kidnapped GGSS Chibok girl spoke to newsmen on May 13, 2014, Tuesday, revealed some pictures of his daughter before the abduction.
The man confirmed his desperate condition due to constant worries on what his child is experiencing now. He further added that five of his nieces have also been kidnapped by terrorists.
Mary's father has also watched the latest Boko Haram video in the hope to see either the face of his daughter, or the nieces. However, he did not succeed. The only familiar face he saw in the video was a girl, around 16 or 17 years old, who lived nearby and used to be a close friend of his daughter.
The man further told ITV News that he did not trust the swap offer made by Boko Haram to free the students in exchange for jailed sect members.

It would be recalled that in the second Boko Haram video in two weeks was released on May 12, 2014, Monday. A man, who claims to be the sect leader, Abubakar Shekau, opened the door for dialogue and hostages exchange. Solange Knowles Fight Purse Featured In Hilarious New Ad!

While the Jay Z-Solange Knowles fight may not have been funny for the parties involved, the rest of us are finding plenty of comedy in the drama.
The Internet has already blessed us with a slew of hilarious Solange-themed memes, and now some ingenious Madison Avenue Don Draper-types are getting in on the act.

That's an ad for the Anya Hindmarch clutch bag Solange brought to the 2014 MET Gala...and later used as a weapon with which to bludgeon her brother-in-law. Certainly seems the brand has found a silver lining in Solange's dark cloud of rage!
The ad is funny stuff, to be sure, but we're guessing Solange is less than amused:

Yes, just mentioning Jay Z's name to Solange is enough to earn you a dose of her now-infamous temper.
We're guessing that news anchor has never seen Solange throw a punch, or he might not be so quick to make fun.
Thus far, all the press surrounding Solange has been pretty negative, but if she's smart she'll use her time in the headlines to rehab her image and make the public understand the difficulties that come with being overshadowed by a more famous sibling.
Seems more likely, though, that she'll just continue to burn bridges until she flames out and disappears from the entertainment world entirely.

A lustful couple were caught having sex inside a bank foyer next to the cash machine in Oviedo, Spain.

It was learnt that the couple couldn't wait to get home for a pleasant pastime and just dropped in the bank for a hot sex. As the windows of the bank were not curtained passers-by could see the whole process from all angles, some of them even took photos and applauded.
Pictures taken by the excited onlookers show the naked couple in the heat of the moment with their clothes scattered all around them. Over time some of the witnesses called the police and the patrol came to the scene.

But nothing could embarass the amorous couple - they kept making love even when the police officers knocked on the door asking them to stop. And only when they entered the building and ordered them to get dressed they immediately obeyed.
The police officers claimed that they establish the lawbreakers' identity although it's still unknown whether any charges will be brought. Provocative pictures have already become viral on the Internet.

Beyonce Posts NEW Instagram Photos with Solange: Is It All Good?

Beyonce is yet to speak out on sister Solange attacking husband Jay Z back on May 5.
But the singer did make quite the statement on Instagram today.
Simply writing "Good Morning" as her caption, Queen Bey posted a pair of photos online: one of her and Solange striking a silly pose in a field somewhere; and the other of these famous sisters in the back of a truck,

This move, of course, comes on the heels of the opposite one from Solange:
In the wake of her Jay Z assault going viral, Solange deleted all pictures of Beyonce from her Instagram page.
But it does appear as if this family has moved on from the violent incident.
Solange and Jay Z were spotted shopping in New York City together Tuesday afternoon, with an onlooker saying the pair looked calm and quiet.
"This is not the first time this has happened," a source tells Us Weekly of the blow-up. "That's why Bey and Jay were so calm. They are used to this from Solange. It has definitely happened before."

Prophetess Sets Daughter Ablaze

 

A prophetess with a Celestial Church of Christ in Epe, Lagos State, western Nigeria, has been arrested by the police in Epe Division, Lagos for allegedly setting her 9–year old daughter on fire in a bid to deliver her from witchcraft.

The girl was rescued by the police and was taken to Epe General Hospital where she is receiving treatment at the emergency ward of the hospital for first degree burns.

It was alleged that the 37-year old prophetess, Bose Oluwole, committed the offence at Ijebu-Ode Road, Odomola, Epe, Lagos.

The suspect was arrested following a distress call by the residents of the area alleging that the suspect poured kerosene on her daughter, Damilola and set her ablaze.

During interrogation, according to the police, the suspect allegedly confessed to the crime.

She said she set her daughter abalze in obedience to God’s instruction to cleanse her of demonic spirits.

In her alleged confessional statement to the police, the suspect said: “I saw in my vision while praying that my daughter is from the witchcraft world. When I prayed to God over it, I received the instruction through Holy Spirit to burn my daughter’s body in order to deliver her from the evil society.”

After investigation, the suspect was charged before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos on a two-count charge of felony to wit, and attempt to commit murder..

The offences, the police prosecutor, Inspector Emmanuel Nwankpoma said, are punishable under Sections 171 and 228 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2011.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the crime, but the presiding magistrate, Mrs. C. J. Momodu directed that the matter be transferred to Family Court 2 because of the age of the victim.

The magistrate in charge of the Family Court, Mrs. O. O. Oshin, ordered that the accused be remanded in Kirikiri Prisons, Lagos till 2 June, 2014 for mention.(LinJust)

Nollywood Actors Can Fly for Less! Ibinabo Fiberesima Strikes New Deal with Aero

After replying actress Clarion Chukwurah in an open letter detailing her achievements for the association, 

Ibinabo Fiberesima has made known her new deal as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).

AGN partners with Aero Contractors as the official airline.

With this new deal, only re-validated members of the association can fly all Aero route for just N12,000 on presentation of the new Visa identity card at the sales point.

According to the website, to fly local, the fee is N14,000 at the counter, so that is N2,000 less for all members.

Singer Justin Bieber Is Accused Of Attempted Robbery

Twenty-year-old American singer Justin Bieber has been accused of theft attempt, Reuters reports.

According to Los Angeles police department (LAPD) spokesperson Rosario Herrera, the case was reported on Tuesday, May 13, by the alleged victim, who said that the incident occurred the previous day in the Van Nuys area of the city.
The young heartbreaker was reportedly trying to steal the victim's mobile phone. Bieber has been neither arrested nor interrogated in connection with the case. As at the time of filing this article the celebrity's spokesperson didn't provide any comments on the issue.
It would be recalled that the troubled pop-star had been previously charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest and using an expired licence and will face trial in July in Miami. And that's not it: Bieber had been also charged with assaulting a man in Toronto. (Naij.com)

Nigerian Jollof Rice Without Vegetables

Jollof rice is always present at every foodious Nigerian event. It is one meal I never get tired of eating. Even after enjoying mine at home before leaving, I'm still very much interested in the one served at the events' reception. I don't know why but I hate missing the jollof at any event I attend.

Sometimes, I boil the rice with thyme, onion, salt and seasoning before mixing with the already prepared stew.This method varies the taste and aroma. I don't add
curry here but enough thyme and benny spice. The only reason I have Benny spice at home is because it is superb for rice. I cook my soups and other meals with seasoning cubes and cook rice with Benny spice. 

 

 

Ingredients:

1. FreshTomato stew
2. Tomato paste
3. Soya oil
4. Onion
5. Hard chicken 11/2kg
6. Pepper 
7. Salt
8. Seasoning
9. Water 
10. Thyme
11. Rice      

Adding tomato paste to chicken stew with fried onion

  

Adding ingredients and stirring to fry

  

 Empty the stew into a cooking pot  

Let stew simmer, check for salt before and after adding water

  

Adding enough water to stew  before adding washed rice 

Adding Benny spice

  

Adding thyme

  

Adding parboiled washed rice to boiling stew, continue to add water and check for salt till rice is tender

  

Water dries up as heat is reduced to prevent  the pot from burning

              Jollof rice is cooked without vegetables

 

 Nigerian jollof rice cooked without vegetable is best served with coleslaw.
