Girl Reveals Her Story: Things Guys I Met On Social Media Did To Me (Must Read)

Ladies should really be careful. Not
all guys you meet on the social media are genuine, especially now that too many
chatting services are springing up here and there. Rough guys are taking
advantage, shine your eyes.
Following her nasty experience in the hands of guys, a young lady, Elizabeth John Adie, has given oral evidence about how she was gang-rapéd by a group of men she met through a social networking site, 2GO.
According to her, the guys picked her in an ash colour vehicle with unknown registration number to Aso B area where they threatened her with knives, searched her handbag and took her two blackberry phones, cash of N8,000 and other foreign currencies, before raping her...The case was mentioned at the Upper Area Court, Mararaba Gurku, Nasarawa State. One of the accused, 22-year-old Agbo Emmanuel, a school certificate holder has been in police detention since the incident occurred but was brought to court on February 11, charged with criminal conspiracy, intimidation, extortion, causing hurt and rape, all contrary to sections 97, 397, 292, 244, and 283 of the Penal Code Laws of Nigeria.
According to the police First Information Report, the victim reported at the ‘A’ Division Police Station, in the Mararaba area of Nasarawa, close to Abuja state on February 1, 2014, that on the same day at about 13:30hrs at Aso B, one Agbo Emmanuel and three others, Bright Ochigbon, Junior Udewenga and Anita, now at large, conspired and deceived her through the 2GO social network.
Elizabeth said after taking the items from her, the rough guys went ahead to rapé her in turns, adding that she had tried to resist but was cut with a knife by one of them on her right finger.

Governments Of Adamawa, Yobe Oppose State Of Emergency Extension
The Governors of Yobe and Adamawa states do not support the extension of the state of emergency as proposed by President Goodluck Jonathan.

Jonathan on Tuesday requested the National Assembly to approve the extension of the emergency rule in the north-eastern states of Yobe, Adamawa and Borno for another six months.
To become legal, the extension needs to be approved by both chambers of the National Assembly. The House of Representatives will debate the issue today (Wednesday).
Abdullahi Bego, the spokesperson to the Yobe State governor Ibrahim Gaidam, issued a statement is which he said that a year under emergency rule did not improve security situation in the state but rather resulted in more deaths and destruction.
"Over the six months of emergency rule and later over the second, we have seen some of the worst attacks by Boko Haram in Yobe State. From GSS Damaturu to GSS Mamudo to College of Agriculture Gujba and FGC Buni Yadi, more than 120 students were killed by insurgents," Bego said.
The Yobe government called on Jonathan's administration to work out a new approach for combating terrorism, and first and foremost to equip the Nigerian military with modern tools and arms that would allow it to be "several steps ahead of the insurgents".
"The issue is whether the federal government can summon the courage to try these suggestions and to explore new ways to bring the insurgency to an end without repeating a stale and sterile measure which has failed over the last 12 months."
We need a new approach
In a similar manner, governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State has again objected to the idea of emergency rule extension.
Nyako made his position known through his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Ahmed Sajoh. Just like his colleague from Yobe State, Nyako said that emergency rule had failed to yield results.
He noted that his state had witnessed more attacks since May 2013 than it had before.
"We still hold our position that there was no need to declare a state of emergency in Adamawa in the first place, because the level of attacks in the state has even increased with the imposition of emergency rule."
The governor of Adamawa also said that the FG should adopt a new strategy to deal with terror in the region "rather than the business as usual tactics that do not add up".
It will be recalled that the state of emergency was declared in May 2013 and extended for another six months in November. It was meant to help Nigerian military tackle the Boko Haram insurgency in north-eastern Nigeria. However, the Islamist sect seems ho have intensified its attacks, killing nearly 2,000 people in 2014 alone.

Step 4: Add the chopped pepper & onions, mix to incorporate.
Step 5: Heat a non-stick frying pan and add a trace of butter/margarine or vegetable oil ; Spread evenly over the cooking surface.
Step 6: Pour in two cooking spoons full of the batter and swirl to spread evenly. Cook for 1 minute and flip over for a further 30 seconds.
Step 7: Transfer to a flat plate and repeat the process till the batter is used up.
Serve Hot with any beverage.
My simple pan cakes are the easiest to make, they cook fast. It is advisable that you don't leave the kitchen at all after pouring in the hot fry pan, wait and flip over or it might just get burnt.

Just In: Court Rules On Pistorius Psychiatric Evaluation
A South African court has finally ruled that South African
Olympic track star Oscar Pistorius is to undergo evaluation for mental
illness.
Delivering the order some few minutes ago, Judge Thokozile Masipa ruled that such an evaluation would ensure that Mr Pistorius would get a fair trial.
According to Judge Masipa, the court would hand down the details of the assessment next Tuesday, adding it would be "preferable" for Mr Pistorius to undergo the evaluation as an outpatient.
The double amputee is accused of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day last year.
Pistorius inside the court room
The defence claims Mr Pistorius suffers from "general anxiety disorder".
Defence psychiatrist Meryll Vorster Tuesday told the court that Mr Pistorius's anxiety would have given him a heightened fear of crime.
Mr Pistorius's lawyers have sought to portray the world-famous athlete as almost manically obsessed with safety after a difficult childhood and in the face of high crime levels in South Africa.
A BBC correspondent says that Mr Pistorius could be evaluated for a minimum of 30 days at a psychiatric faculty as a result of the evaluation order.
Pistorius' uncle welcoming the judge's order
Legal experts say that the case may well hinge on the judge's understanding of the athlete's state of mind when he pulled the trigger.
They says the prosecution is keen to show that the defence keeps changing its reasons why Mr Pistorius fired his gun - from putative self-defence, to accidental shooting, and now to something linked to his anxiety disorder.
There are no juries at trials in South Africa, so the athlete's fate will ultimately be decided by the judge, assisted by two assessors.
Pistorius on his way to the court today
Mr Pistorius's uncle, Arnold, welcomed the Judge's "thorough" ruling and says it gives family "confidence" in the justice system.
He said that he was fully confident of the judge's commitment to a fair trial.
It could be recalled that the star sprinter claims he mistakenly shot girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp through a locked toilet door believing she was an intruder in his upmarket Pretoria home.
If found guilty of murder, Mr Pistorius could face life imprisonment. If he is acquitted of that charge, the court will consider an alternative charge of culpable homicide, for which he could receive about 15 years in prison.
