'How Gospel Songs Saved My Life' - Kidnap Survivor Recounts Ordeal In Kidnapper's Den
A 45-year-old trader, Elizabeth Otokiri, who was reportedly
kidnapped and later released, has said she was saved by constantly
singing gospel songs.
Elizabeth was kidnapped with two others along Ibuso-Ogwashi Uku road, Delta State by a gang of kidnappers but was released three days later.
The police also rescued the other two and arrested three members of the kidnap gang who are currently being detained by the police at the state CID in Asaba.
Narrating her experience, the kidnapped woman said on that fateful day, she was returning from a church programme when she was kidnapped, blindfolded and taken to an unknown destination.
Elizabeth stated that she started singing gospel songs in the thick forest where she was kept.
According to her, the kidnappers had asked for a ransom of N40 million which her children were unable to raise and they had planned to use her blood for ritual sacrifice.
She stated that she was not moved by their threats of killing her as she kept on singing gospel songs and they were later forced to let her go as they could not stand her religious attitude.
"I sang melodious songs to God and they felt threatened by my songs and one of them who brought bread for me to eat said they were tired of this ‘holy holy woman," she said.

Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Kenya Moore walking around with her
alleged "African Prince" in Harvard. And dude turns out to be our very

The former Miss USA and Real Housewives of Atlanta star had confirmed to Wendy Williams
sometime in February that she is dating a very rich African, someone people say is a Nigerian, a top shot business mogul. Kenya and her boyfriend are also extremely private about their relationship.
Initially, there were stories that Kenya hired D'Banj to pretend to be her boyfriend but that thought was laid to rest after both parties denied the story. And now, this! Could Tonye be Kenya’s mystery man? He is a married man, with 3 kids! (Laila)

Blog Reader is about to Give Up on Her Decision to Stay a Virgin till She gets Married, Needs Your Advice..
Read her below:
I'm a young lady, 25 years old. Growing a good relationship has been a daunting challenge for me, it just won't last. Sometimes my fellow ladies take him from me or lack of sex causes our separation even after letting him know from the beginning that I am totally for a no sex before marriage relationship. At first they would accept only to walk out when I have fallen in love.
Some of these men have been good to me but sex is the only barrier. Some said I'm too rigid. I have really worked on my character because at some point I thought I was lacking some good morals.
My friends always advice me that sex keeps relationship going. But I want to know, can't one have a healthy relationship without sex? As a virgin, if I desire for a man's affection, is it wrong?
Please help me post this, I really need advice from my fellow readers because I'm heart broken now. I'm beginning to have a rethink on my determination.

Breaking News: Nigeria's Provisional Squad For World Is Ready-Keshi
After weeks of speculations over Nigeria's provisional squad
for the upcoming World Cup holding in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July,
2014, Super Eagles Head Coach, Stephen Keshi, and the Technical
Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), have said they are
ready to release the squad.
According to THISDAY report, Keshi and the NFF are expected to reach a truce and name Nigeria's provisional squad to the FIFA World Cup in Brazil this afternoon in Abuja.
Football pundits are of the opinion that disagreement led to the delay in naming the initial squad of 38 players two weeks ago despite denials from both the coach and the technical committee members of NFF.
Latest reports suggest that all appears to be okay now after the intervention of some stakeholders to save Nigeria's image after a Singaporean alleged that he helped the country to gain qualification for the football show piece four years ago.
Coach Keshi, right, and John Mikel Obi are integral parts of Super Eagles
On the provisional squad, coach Keshi, through the Spokesman of the Eagles, Ben Alaiya, reportedly said last night that nobody can force him to include any player(s) he did not want in his team.
"The NFF is our parent body and should be concerned about team composition for the World Cup, because the body is made up of well-meaning Nigerians, but to be honest to Nigerians nobody in the NFF has come to me to say pick player A or B.
"They respect my job as the Head Coach and I respect them as my employers and there is no clash of interest," insisted the former Togo and Mali gaffer fondly called the Big Boss in his days as Nigerian captain.
It could be recalled that the media has been awash recently with reports credited to the ex-NNB and Eagles midfielder, Edema Fuludu, that Keshi was under great pressure to include certain players in his squad to Brazil.
Some of the players expected to be in the team when it is released include: Vincent Enyeama, Kenneth Omeruo, Godfrey Oboabona, Efe Ambrose, John Obi Mikel, Onazi, Emmanuel Emmenike, and Elderson Echiejile.
As at the time of writing this report, Nigerian are still debating whether the like of Chigozie Agbim, Ikechukwu Uche, Osaze Odemwingie and Chinedu Obasi would be included in the provisional list.
What's your take on this?

Pistorius' Housekeeper Was Inside Home During Shooting
Someone else was inside Oscar
Pistorius' home in Pretoria, South Africa, the night the athlete shot
his girlfriend to death -- his longtime housekeeper, Frank Chiziweni.
Chiziweni was
sleeping in his room off from Pistorius’ kitchen on Valentine’s Day
2013. His presence was revealed in court Monday, when a neighbor
testified that Chiziweni greeted her at the home. In the 16 months since
the shooting, it was believed that only Pistorius and victim Reeva
Steenkamp were in the residence.
The
defense and prosecution have declined to call Chiziweni, a Malawian, to
the stand. They believe he wouldn’t have said anything. Following the
shooting, he told police that he “heard nothing” that night, sleeping
through what witnesses who lived 200 yards away described as
“bloodcurdling” screams.
Pistorius’ neighbors demonstrated
those screams in court today. Witnesses Rita Motshuane and Eontle
Hillary Nhlengethwa mimicked the high-pitched, almost howling cries they
heard after Pistorius shot his girlfriend to death.
Pistorius is accused of premeditated murder in Steenkamp’s death, but he argued he mistook her for an intruder.
None
of the witnesses called today heard a female scream, a stark contrast
to the state’s witnesses, who testified about hearing screams and a
woman’s voice.
Nhlengethwa’s
husband, Mike Nhlengethwa, testified that Pistorius introduced Steenkamp
to him as his fiancee, a meeting that occurred days before the
shooting. When Nhlengethwa went to shake Steenkamp’s hand, she instead
opened her arms and hugged him.
Nhlengethwa
said Pistorius, with whom he shared a passion for cars, told him he
wanted to move from Pretoria to Johannesburg, South Africa, to be with
Steenkamp, a model and reality TV star.
Nhlengethwa was sad about the prospect of his neighbor moving away, but it was worth it for a woman like Steenkamp, he said.
The
trial was adjourned to Thursday, as elections are scheduled for
Wednesday in South Africa. Defense attorney Barry Roux apologized for
not having more witnesses available to call today, but he reassured the
court that it will not interfere with the trial’s projected time frame.
Roux is confident that he will be able to end his case by next Tuesday,
May 13. (Yahoo News)
Flavour Splashes Car On Producer
Who says hard work doesn’t have a price? Of course it does and a very remarkable compliment to go with. Music artiste, Flavour has made his music one of a kind even with the numerous competitions in the industry.
Since he made his debut into the music scene, he has stood the test of time in many ways, and he wouldn’t have done this without the help of his music producer, Master Kraft, who has produced a number of his hit songs for him.
Master Kraft produced Flavour’s hit songs like ‘Shake Ukwu’, ‘Ikwokrikwo’, ‘Kwarikwa’, ‘Egwu’, ‘Chinny Baby’ just to name a few and in other to appreciate him, the music artiste got him a car as surprise gift. The beat maker was reportedly shocked as he wasn’t expecting it.

Wizkid’s Ex-Babe, Tania Omotayo To Give Fans 300k
Estranged lover of Wizkid, Tania Omotayo, seems to have turned a ‘Mother Christmas’ as she has decided to splash the sum of N300,000 on her fans.
“Hi guys, I want to give out 300,000 Naira tomorrow. Two people will get 150,000 Naira. I am excited,” the pretty lade said.
Tania and Wizkid enjoyed the best of time together. Both attended gigs together and were always giving out their intimate pictures on the internet. It is still unclear why their romance crashed but Tania has since been hanging out with other Nigerian celebrities.
She was spotted with Don Jazzy at a party recently, as well as others. From the look of things, she is gradually attaining the celebrity status in Nigeria, at least, one thing she might have taken away from her romance with the ‘Star Boy’ boss.
