Pistorius' Housekeeper Was Inside Home During Shooting

Someone else was inside Oscar Pistorius' home in Pretoria, South Africa, the night the athlete shot his girlfriend to death -- his longtime housekeeper, Frank Chiziweni.

Chiziweni was sleeping in his room off from Pistorius’ kitchen on Valentine’s Day 2013. His presence was revealed in court Monday, when a neighbor testified that Chiziweni greeted her at the home. In the 16 months since the shooting, it was believed that only Pistorius and victim Reeva Steenkamp were in the residence.

The defense and prosecution have declined to call Chiziweni, a Malawian, to the stand. They believe he wouldn’t have said anything. Following the shooting, he told police that he “heard nothing” that night, sleeping through what witnesses who lived 200 yards away described as “bloodcurdling” screams.

Pistorius’ neighbors demonstrated those screams in court today. Witnesses Rita Motshuane and Eontle Hillary Nhlengethwa mimicked the high-pitched, almost howling cries they heard after Pistorius shot his girlfriend to death.

 

Pistorius is accused of premeditated murder in Steenkamp’s death, but he argued he mistook her for an intruder.

None of the witnesses called today heard a female scream, a stark contrast to the state’s witnesses, who testified about hearing screams and a woman’s voice.

Nhlengethwa’s husband, Mike Nhlengethwa, testified that Pistorius introduced Steenkamp to him as his fiancee, a meeting that occurred days before the shooting. When Nhlengethwa went to shake Steenkamp’s hand, she instead opened her arms and hugged him.

Nhlengethwa said Pistorius, with whom he shared a passion for cars, told him he wanted to move from Pretoria to Johannesburg, South Africa, to be with Steenkamp, a model and reality TV star.

Nhlengethwa was sad about the prospect of his neighbor moving away, but it was worth it for a woman like Steenkamp, he said.

The trial was adjourned to Thursday, as elections are scheduled for Wednesday in South Africa. Defense attorney Barry Roux apologized for not having more witnesses available to call today, but he reassured the court that it will not interfere with the trial’s projected time frame. Bob Manuel Ndokwu has now been given an post under the administration of Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, who was sworn in few months ago after the tenure of Peter Obi ended.

The ‘Living in Bondage’ star has been made the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Obiano on Movie/Entertainment matters. His new job was reportedly made known yesterday by the government.

Human Parts Dealer Caught With Intestines, Skulls Reveals Price List In Lagos

A 54-year-old grandmother, a cemetery guard and two others have been arrested and paraded by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, in Joju area of Sango Ota after they were caught with a human head, intestines, bones, kidney and other human parts.

The grandmother, Sukuratu Salami admitted that she was into human parts business and has been doing so for a year now. According to her, she used to be a herbs dealer before a herbalist approached her last year and demanded for human parts. When he told the money to be gained, she became enticed. She said she worked hand in hand with a one Tanntoloun who works in a graveyard and he sells a skull for N10,000 which she later sells for N20,000, adding that she has only sold 10 human skulls.
She also buys pieces of bones for N2,000, liver and intestines for N1,000 each and resells for N5,000 or more depending on the buyer’s bargaining power. She said her customers are herbalists and trado-medical practitioners who use the parts to prepare concoction for sick children.

The cemetery guard, Rasheed Tantoloun said he usually digs dead bodies out of their graves with the aid of one Ibrahim, whom he hired and they sell the parts to ready buyers who are usually herbs dealers while also alleging that his employer instructed them to exhume dead bodies that have stayed long in order to get spaces for fresh ones.

Parading the suspects, the state Police Commissioner, Umar Manko, said detectives led by the SARS commander, Abba Kyari had posed as buyers and bought a human head from Salami at N120,000 and that's how they were arrested. When they searched Salami's house, they found human head, liver, intestines and other parts and also discovered that most of them were still fresh. (Naij.com)

20-Year-Old Lady Caught Having Sex In Virgin Aeroplane Toilets

A drunken 20-year-old British woman was caught having sex in the toilet of a Virgin Atlantic flight with a male passenger she had just met while her parents sat just metres away.

The woman was travelling with her family on a Virgin Atlantic flight from London Gatwick to Las Vegas in the US last week when she disappeared to the toilet with the man sitting next to her.
A passenger said, "She started getting heated with the guy next to her. They went into the bathroom and people could hear loud noises. The cabin crew forced to door open, then she really kicked off."
A row broke out between her and the air stewards and she had to be restrained to her seat.
She was later taken away to be questioned by the US police but released with a warning before continuing her holiday in the notorious Navada resort.
Virgin Atlantic however said last night that they do no accept bad behaviour by any passengers on board their planes.
