MERCY JOHNSON Urges Nigerians to Increase the tempo of their prayers.
Just as many Nigerians and people in some part of the world are calling
for the release of the chibok girls who were abducted, Star actress,
Mercy Johnson, has joined her colleagues in calling for the release of
the missing Chibok schoolgirls. Here’s a write-up from her:
“Sometimes, our realities remind us of the pain of others. My reality as a mother is that I get to see my daughter every day, while the reality of the mothers of the kidnapped 234 Chibok girls is that they don’t even know where their daughters are.
I looked at my daughter and tears came to my eyes that some mothers have the privileges of seeing their kids on a daily basis while the mothers of the kidnapped girls can only console themselves with memories.
All well-meaning Nigerians must come together and help these mothers who have been in pain for more than two weeks and make the memory a reality — the reality of seeing their children again. Let us not for once think that the evil-doers who turn the realities of these mothers to memories cannot do the same to us if they have the opportunities.
This is not a war against select group of people; it is a war against all well-meaning mothers in Nigeria as injustice to one is injustice to all. Let the mothers rise, the men who love them should stand by their right hand and the children who adore them on their left and do all we can in our spheres of influence to ensure that the children come back home safe so that the mothers can smile again.
Can you pray? Increase the tempo of your prayers. Can you fast? Add extra days to it. If what you can do is protest, please do; perhaps you are a soldier and can go to the war front please do not sit still. You are a politician or a voice that Boko Haram can listen to, please speak.
We need the girls back!!! They are innocent, they have their future ahead of them, please do not cut it short. I dare say some of them will end up being the solution we desire to restore the lost and battered glory of this nation. Please don’t kill or damage the future all in the name of militancy.
I appeal to the soldiers and other security operatives, don’t be demoralised, please fight hard, fight more and fight on. Do not let this evil people for once think that they can get away with this. If they ever get away with this, let me assure you that we won’t all be able to sleep with our eyes closed and that includes you, your wives and children. If an Emir can be killed in his palace, who is safe in his or her home? Nobody!
I appeal to the political class and those in power, do not think that any right-thinking Nigerian would allow that this matter be swept under the carpet, this isn't one of the matters we would keep mum about. We will continue talking, praying, protesting until you make the matter your matter. If your child were one of the children that was abducted, we would probably have heard of the end of the matter. Let’s not fold our arms and let evil reign.
Nigeria shall be great, only if we do the right thing and the right thing at this moment is to bring our girls back and alive.”

Boko Haram Will Start Attacking Bigshots in Nigeria---Prophet TB Joshua
Prophet TB Joshua while preaching yesterday, 4th of May, 2014 in his church said Boko Haram will start attacking bigshots in our society. Expressing his shock that political parties such as APC and PDP are against themselves instead of coming together as one to fight Boko Haram in Nigeria, he says it’s quite risky because the group would soon turn back to start attacking them.
It will be recalled that, Prophet TB Joshua has not
stopped giving different prophesies every Sunday on the altar while he
preaches, ever since the over 200 school girls disappeared into thin air. His words after the cut.
“Nigeria is calm; it is the political parties that are not
calm. These political parties gave birth to militants and Boko Haram.”
“If our political class does not stop their campaigns and
rallies and put aside the name of parties – APC, PDP, Labour – to come together
to discuss as Nigeria, these people will turn against them. Any moment from now,
you will hear of ‘bigshots’ being attacked.”
“They should suspend all rallies and acrimonious campaigns. It is this division that gave opportunity for hoodlums, militants and Boko Haram to explore and exploit,” he stated.

Usher Helps Debut Michael Jackson's New Song 'Love Never Felt So Good'
A brand-new Michael Jackson song, "Love Never Felt So Good", was debuted at the inaugural iHeartRadio Music Awards which is currently underway at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium. While the late singer appeared on giant screens, another star, Usher, took the stage to dance to the track, which was introduced by music producer L.A. Reid.
The "Scream" hitmaker got people scream with excitement as he showed up halfway through the song. Donning a black and golden jacket, he recreated some of MJ's iconic dance moves along with backing dancers. He ended the tribute to the King of Pop on a table.
"Love Never Felt So Good", written by MJ and Paul Anka, will be included in Jackson's posthumous album, "Xscape", which is due out on May 13. The full song, meanwhile, will be available for download starting at 12:01 A.M. on Friday morning, May 2.

How to prepare Nigerian Afang Soup
The Nigerian Afang Soup, like the Edikang Ikong soup,
is native to the Efiks, people of Akwa Ibom and Cross River states of Nigeria
but enjoyed by all Nigerians. It is also very nutritious as the soup consists
mainly of vegetables. Afang Soup is prepared with a generous quantity of Water
leaves and the wild herbal Okazi leaves.
The Nigerian Afang Soup should not
be confused with the Okazi Soup native to the people of Imo and Abia States of
Nigeria. While Afang soup is prepared with basically vegetables, Okazi Soup is
simply the Nigerian Egusi Soup
cooked with thinly sliced Okazi leaves.
Ingredients
for Afang Soup
- 400g sliced Okazi/Afang leaves | about 4 handfuls
- 250g Water leaves
- 20 - 25 cl Palm oil (about 1 drinking glass)
- Beef, Kanda and Dry fish
- 2 tablespoons Crayfish
- Pepper, Salt and Crayfish - to taste
- 2 Knorr cubes
Notes
about the ingredients
- Great alternative to water leaves is Lamb's Lettuce, known as Canonigos in Spanish.
- Yes, you need that much palm oil. :)
Before
you cook the Nigerian Afang Soup
- Wash, drain and slice the water leaves into tiny pieces. Grind or pound the sliced Okazi leaves. In Nigerian markets, the sellers of these sliced Okazi leaves have a machine for grinding it. You can also grind it with your blender with a small quantity of water. Take a look at the ground Okazi leaves.
- Grind your pepper and crayfish and cut the onions into tiny pieces.
Cooking
Directions
- Boil the beef and Kanda with the diced onions and stock cubes in a very small quantity of water. When done, add the dry fish and cook for about 5 more minutes.
- Now add the palm oil, crayfish and pepper. Once it starts boiling, add the afang (okazi) leaves, water leaves and periwinkle. When the okazi leaves have softened and the water has dried up a bit, add salt to taste and leave to simmer for about 5 minutes. The Afang soup is ready!
- Serve with Garri (Eba), Semolina, Amala or Pounded Yam.

Courtney Stodden: Bigger Breast Implants In New Instagram Photos?
Courtney Stodden on Instagram. This girl loves taking photos of herself.
Courtney has denied plastic surgery rumors in the past, so clearly anything she says on the topic is total BS.
Fortunately, Stodden's Instagram selfies give us all the information we need about her constantly changing body.
Last, month we realized that Courtney's lip injections were threatening to take over her face, now it seems like she attempted to subtly upgrade from double to triple-D's without anyone noticing.
Courtney was reportedly quiet on social media for over a week recently, prompting rumors that she'd undergone some sort of elective surgery.
When she returned, obsessive Courtney fans (because those exist, apparently) claimed that her breasts looked slightly larger.
Frankly, we can't tell, but if she did bump up a size, the difference is ever so subtle.
Would anyone be dumb enough to shell out thousands and undergo surgery just to make their breasts imperceptibly larger? Come on...this is Courtney Stodden we're talking about.
Check out the gallery of Courtney's recent boobtastic selfies above to try and decide for yourself.
Courtney shows off her new lips. Can she even talk with those things? Let's hope not.
