Davido and Mafikizolo Premier New MTN Single ‘Tchelete’

Nigerian pop singer and “Omo baba Olowo “ music crooner Davido and South African music sensation Mafikizolo recently premiered new MTN single ‘Tchelete’ at a launch event which was hosted by Africa’s largest ICT company , MTN .

The event which took place on Wednesday April 30, 2014, was the telecommunication’s continuous efforts to support the African entertainment industry, as MTN is throwing its weight behind new songs and video releases of Africa’s leading music icons.

The launch also features the unveiling of new music and video releases of some of Africa’s biggest music stars: Kcee, Timaya, Praiz, Sean Tizzle, Chidinma and Becca from Ghana.

Finally, all the new releases will be available on MTN Callertunez, an application that is used by the company to distribute music, which has revolutionized the Nigerian music industry by allowing artists to monetize the distribution of their music in an industry stained by piracy.

AGN Boss, Ibinabo Fiberesima Turns Pastor, Urges Members To Be Prayerful

The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima, on Wednesday expressed grieve over the death of one the nation’s foremost film producer, writer and director, Amaka Igwe.

Fiberesima said that Amaka’s death was a great loss to the movie industry.

She said: “Amaka’s just that big sister that you want to hug all the time. You want her when you are confused and she just had a way of calming you down.”

“She did a lot for Nollywood. She believed in professionalism. She also believed in Nollywood reaching the highest of heights. She did everything in her power to make sure Nollywood was seen as a professional body.”

“There was no easy way out with her. It was the right way no matter how hard. And she’s just somebody that we all will miss. She’s just going to be in all our hearts. It’s just a painful death,” the AGN Boss eulogized.

Fiberesima, advised members of the industry to seek the face of God and his divine intervention in its affairs.

So Sweet! Guy Proposes To His Sweetheart At The Cinema's In Between A Movie(Photos)

Awwh...this is so cute!!
A guy identified as Tosin proposed to his girlfriend Bimbo at the Silverbird galleria yesterday 1st of May 2014. He "rented" one of the viewing rooms at Silverbird Galleria and invited their guests(Friends and well wishers) to watch a movie, with refreshments and all.

According to blogger SisiYemmi who witnessed it all, Tosin surprised Bimbo with the proposal in the middle of a movie – “The Other Woman”.
Tosin went all out with his proposal and Bimbo was in tears afterwards...how romantic!
As earlier mentioned, he invited their friends as guests. They were seated in different spots in the hall and Bimbo didn't even notice them when they got in.
Half way through the "other woman" movie, photos of their (Bimbo and Tosin) best moments together began showing and then a "Dear Bimbs, will you marry me?" popped up on the screen. Everyone in the hall began cheering out loud.

There is No Document That I Was Deported…..Apostle Helen Ukpabio

Nigeria’s most successful female preachers, Lady Apostle Helen Ukpabio, has described the tale making the rounds that she was recently deported from the United Kingdom, as untrue and unfounded.

According to the film maker and the founder of Liberty Gospel Foundation Church, she said that the viral information were not true as it was the handwork of atheists.

“I was never deported from the U.K. I went to London (South East, London specifically) for a programme, did my programme and came back when I wanted. I traveled on April 4 and I returned on April 17th, to do a programme for Bishop N.E Moses of Overcomers Church, in Lagos. Nobody deported me.”

She noted that if she were to be deported, the U.K. Immigration would have moved her and handed her over to the Nigerian Immigration and it would have been documented.

PSquare Peter Okoye Confirms their Family Quarrel!

Some days ago, the same magazine that published news that Tuface had allegedly gotten his account manager pregnant, published an interview with Psquare's publicist Bayo Adetu where he allegedly  said PSquare's family dispute was just a publicity stunt.

The story went viral, but thankfully, Peter Okoye has now confirmed he and his brothers actually had a quarrel but that they are cool now. They are even back to work and are on set for their Testimony music video.
