Get Rid Of Unpleasant Vaginal Odor?

How to get rid of unpleasant vaginal odor! Understanding what your particular feminine odor means and how to treat this sometimes-embarrassing problem.

If you are a woman of child bearing age, then you would have some sort of vaginal odor.
The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology states that feminine odor changes throughout your normal monthly menstrual cycle, and is subject to outside situations such as the presence of bacteria, foods that you eat, or hormonal functions. The reason is simple. The vagina is prone to vaginal secretions and discharge due to a malady of factors that affect the way it smells. This, is nothing to be embarrassed about. In short, at any given time – your vagina will have a smell to it. Just like your breath or your feet, there is a certain odor associated with the vagina.
However, at times many women notice that their vagina smells differently. It may smell metallic, or musty or even give off somewhat of a ‘fishy’ smell. These different odors, are often associated with bacterial or yeast infections and occur alongside vaginal itchiness, burning, irritation, and a change in what would be considered your normal monthly menstrual discharge.

Main Causes For Unpleasant Vaginal Odor

Understanding vaginal odors symptoms and causes can help you identify whether there is a need to see a physician right away, or whether you should look for natural methods to treat at home.

A Sudden Change in Vaginal Odor

If you notice a sudden change in vaginal odor, the first thing to ascertain is whether other symptoms are present.
  • Do you have more or foul smelling discharge? This normally means that you have an overgrowth of yeast or bacteria, as occurs with bacterial vaginosis and vaginal yeast infections.
  • Have you just begun to take a new medication or supplement, or eaten an extremely spicy meal? These factors can cause a sudden change in vaginal secretions that will cause you to have a sudden feminine odor.
  • Have you recently had unprotected sex with a new partner? If so, you could have been exposed to a sexually transmitted disease that is causing an infection.
  • Have you recently changed laundry detergents that could be causing irritation?
All of these things can upset the delicate pH balance of the vagina and cause a sudden onset of odors. Additionally, the smell of your vaginal secretions will change greatly near ovulation and near menstruation every month.
If you notice a sudden change in your vaginal odor, which is accompanied with pain and discomfort – you may need to seek medical attention, especially if it does not go away in 1-2 days, but instead gets worse.

Fishy Odor Down There

Perhaps the most common vaginal odor described by women is a fishy odor. The fishy smell is in actuality due to an imbalance in the vaginal pH. Doctors at Emory University state that as healthy lactic acid bacteria is reduced in the vaginal environment, unhealthy bacteria and organisms grow readily. These bacterium have a natural smell to them that when added to vaginal discharge smells fishy. Bacterial vaginosis is the most common culprit of a fishy odor emitting from the vagina, and can be easily rectified with home remedies, supplements or by contacting your doctor.

Vaginal Odor Plus Discharge/Pain/Irritation

As stated above, when vaginal odor is accompanied with a yellow or whitish cottage cheese looking discharge, itching, burning and irritation of the vagina and the labia – chances are high that an infection is present. The smell can vary from person to person, and is normally mild compared to the irritation caused by the discharge. If there is blood in the discharge, then the infection may have spread from the vagina to the reproductive organs and medical attention should be sought.
Additionally, vaginal odor that does not go away with anti-fungal or anti-bacterial creams or home treatments can be caused by a sexually transmitted disease such as Trichomoniasis, or Chlamydia. Remember, if a sexually transmitted disease is present, your partner may not show any symptoms – but will need to be treated as well to prevent re-infection.

 Vaginal Odors After Sex;
  Eliminate Vaginal Odor
According to the WebMD, many people have a problem with a foul odor in the vagina after intercourse. This is especially true if your partner ejaculates inside of you. The pH of the semen, along with the extra secretions during sex can create a cocktail of odorous proportions. In a report by LiveStrong Organization, it was determined that some women are actually ‘allergic’ to their partner’s semen, which can eventually cause bacteria to build up, yeast infections and urinary tract infections. One reason that the problem is pronounced after sex is because the natural movement of intercourse tends to push the bacteria higher into the reproductive organs. If you have this problem, you should ask your partner to ejaculate outside or use a condom.  However, many women also have a bad reaction to the latex and chemicals on condoms as well. If the odor primarily comes after sex, then simply wash the vagina with warm water and mild soap afterwards. You might also want to start taking a pro-biotic or eating yogurt on a daily basis to build up your beneficial flora.

Vaginal Odor During Pregnancy

ACOG (American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology) reports that around 9 out of every 10 women experience an unusual vaginal odor during pregnancy. The reason, is normally harmless, and caused solely by the immense amount of hormone secretions and overworking sebaceous sweat glands in the vaginal area that are stimulated into a frenzy during pregnancy.
Additionally, as your body becomes deficient in vitamins and minerals that are now transferred to your baby, the pH of your vagina can be thrown off kilter. Still, the subject should be breached with your OBGYN during routine visits. Chances are they will check for infections such as yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis, which can be treated easily during pregnancy. But more than likely, this will be yet another pregnancy side effect you will have to deal with.

How To Get Rid Of Vaginal Odor And Prevention

Remember, that every woman has a certain smell to her vagina. If you feel the smell is offensive, onsets suddenly, or warrants a trip to the doctor – the following tips can help to eliminate vaginal odor and keep it from returning.
  • Eating plenty of plain yogurt is found to be effective. Make sure that this is organic, unflavored yogurt, especially the non-sugary type. Yogurt is rich in lactobacillus, which helps to restore the normal vaginal pH level, helping to prevent the condition from recurring.
  • Apple cider vinegar helps restore the acidic quality of the vaginal flora and fights off the toxins that cause infection. Simply indulge in a long bath with two to three cups of this natural antibacterial agent in your bathing water to achieve quick results.
  • Garlic is one of nature’s most powerful antibiotics. Inserting a clove of garlic into your vagina and retaining it for a couple of hours can alleviate the bad vaginal odor to a large extent.
  • Pour half cup of vinegar and half cup of salt into a bathtub and soak several times a week.  This will help to balance the vaginal pH.
  • Avoid douching. Instead, wash with warm water and mild soap. You may find a hand held shower attachment can help you to feel cleaner. Be sure to wash the labia and inner folds of the vagina as well.
  • Wear cotton panties and loose fitting clothes. Tight jeans and fabrics that don’t allow your vagina to breathe can result in vaginal sweating, causing bacteria build-up, an eventually will cause an odor.
  • Always wipe front to back after bowel movements to avoid spread of rectal bacteria.
  • Changing pads, tampons, and pantie-liners frequently.
  • Changing underwear daily.
  • Avoid using scented product, harsh laundry detergents, or feminine products designed to ‘freshen’ the vagina.
  • Take a pro-biotic supplement to ensure you maintain a healthy level of ‘good’ bacteria in your body.
Remember that vaginal odor to a certain degree is absolutely normal! Paying attention to your body and being aware of any sudden changes, and seeking medical attention accordingly, are your best defense against recurring feminine odor. Still, any sudden change in your feminine odor is a sign your body is trying to tell you something is wrong, and it should be heeded.

Gay Man Who Killed 3 Gay Men He Met Online After Having Sêx With Them Has Been Arrested [PHOTO]

Muhammed Ejaz,a Pakistani paramedic who murdered three gay men he met online after reportedly having sex with them.

The 28-year-old father-of-two, was arrested last week and confessed to three brutal murders, saying he wanted to stop them from committing further evil and to spread a message that homosexuality is bad. , though police insist he had sex with his victims first.

In an interview with AFP from his prison cell Ejaz said.. 'My way was wrong. It is tragic that the families have lost their relatives but they were spreading evil in society and I had to stop it.I wanted to warn them to stay away from this evil.I started going on Manjam (Social networking site) two months ago using my mobile phone, and found that the gays are everywhere in Lahore They are spreading evil and transmitting diseases. They cannot control themselves.I tried to convince them to stop their dirty acts, but they would not,” he said.

“So I decided to kill them.Ejaz said he was the victim of sexual abuse by an older boy when he was around 10 and had led a deeply unhappy childhood. He insists he is not gay himself.
'I have hated them ever since for what happened to me, The victims were a middle-aged retired army Major and two other men, both in their twenties. All three were found with their necks broken and had been sedated. After examining their mobile phone call logs, police were able to identify Ejaz's number and found another former lover whom they used to lure him to a meeting a week ago, where they arrested him.

The killings have sent fear through the underground gay community in the eastern city of Lahore, with concerns that Ejaz could be lionised as a hero in a conservative Islamic society where homosexuality is stigmatised and sodomy is punishable by up to 10 years in jail.

STOP Using Chloroquine, Artesunate For Malaria Treatment – WHO Warn Nigerians

Chloroquine, Artesunate For Malaria Treatment 77578
The World Health Organisation had placed a global ban on the use of chloroquine and Artesunate in 2005. Nigerians have been advised against the use of Chloroquine and Artesunate for the treatment of malaria.

Nnenna Ezeigwe, National Coordinator, National Malaria Control Programme, gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Abuja.
She, however, recommended that people should take only Artemisinin Combination Therapy, ACTs, when they test positive for malaria.

“If your test result is positive, take only Artemisinin Combination Therapy (ACTs). Do not treat malaria with chloroquine, artesunate or other monotherapies.

“The ACT with green leaf is good quality and affordable; Ask for it,’’ she said.
When contacted, Adeline Osakwe, Deputy Director, Pharmacovigilance, Food and Drugs Information Centre, NAFDAC, said the use of chloroquine and artesunate in Nigeria was being gradually phased out.

“Since 2005, the use of monotherapies such as Artesunate, Chloroquine had been discouraged in favour of
Aretmisinin Combination Therapy (ACT) for uncomplicated malaria.

“These ACTs include Arthemeter/Lumenfantrine, Artesunate/Amodiaquine, and other registered ones. Ms. Osakwe said that the monotherapies are gradually being phased out by not registering new ones and not renewing those that their licenses had expired.”

The World Health Organisation, WHO, had placed a global ban on the use of chloroquine and Artesunate in 2005.

Speaking on the World Malaria Day celebration, Ms. Ezeigwe advised pregnant women to register early for ante-natal care in order to receive preventive treatment against the disease.

“Expectant mothers should demand for preventive treatment, `Intermittent Preventive Treatment in Pregnancy (IPTp)’ during ante-natal visits from 16 weeks of pregnancy,’’ she said.

She said that the Federal Government and Roll Back Malaria partners had over the last decade committed huge resources to ensure that malaria was brought under control.
She said that the efforts had led to a reduction in malaria prevalence by more than eight per cent, adding that much more needed to be done.

Ms. Ezeigwe called on the private sector, the media, and the academia to play active roles in the fight against Malaria.

“It is only working together that we can end the needless suffering and deaths caused by Malaria.
“Keep your environment clean and free of puddles, and always sleep inside long lasting insecticide treated nets.
“Wear protective clothing against mosquitoes when necessary, and always get tested before you treat for Malaria,’’ she said.

How Lesbian Prostitutes Make It Big Time In Lagos EXPOSED

How Lesbian Prostitutes Make It Big Time In Lagos EXPOSED 6383

According to PMNews:
Beautiful girls, rich women, money, expensive cars, strip clubs, luxurious hotels —the secret sex trade, exclusive only to women, is now big business in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, P.M.NEWS has revealed, after intense undercover research.

Like in a secret cult, only the initiated understand its cryptic language, esoteric ways, sexual benefits and financial rewards. For those involved in the bizarre trade, it was discovered during investigation in Lagos Mainland and Island, lesbianism is not new. Most sex workers with secondary school education agreed that their involvement in the salacious act dates back to their boarding school days when they were initiated by older girls.

Back then, it was just casual sex by girls in their puberty. Today, lesbianism has become a trade, a big but hidden business in the Lagos metropolis.
Dozens of prostitutes informally interviewed during this investigation gave a rare insight into the usually hermetic world of lesbianism in Lagos and the trade now associated with it.

The youngest lesbian prostitute P.M.NEWS met for this article was 16 years old. Most of them were in their early 20s.
Many get involved through seduction. Some are influenced or initiated by friends who are already in the sex trade and have contacts and connections in high places , where women are ready to exchange cash for pleasure.

“I was introduced to lesbianism when I was in secondary school. I was in a boarding school in Benin, EDO STATE” says one of the lesbian prostitutes who introduced P.M.NEWS team into the strange world of lesbian prostitution in Nigeria’s most populous city.
Now a student at the University of Ado Ekiti, the Edo State indigene, shuttles between campus and clubs, hotel rooms or sleek houses in Lagos most weekends to have sex with rich women.

“I have to be in Lagos on weekends because that’s where the business pays well. Sometimes, I travel to Port Harcourt, but most times, I come Lagos.
“I already know how it works here in Lagos. I have a lot of contacts in the strip clubs and I have a lot girls who are into the business and they refer women to me. But it is better to meet the woman yourself because if she is rich, the other girl will not refer you to her, she will take her herself,” she says.

During an outing in Lagos four weeks ago, she remembered with nostalgia, how a rich man once approached her for his shy wife and paid her big money.
“She was shy, she told me. She wanted a girl that night but she could not come to the strip club and her husband picked me for her. “The husband left us in the room upstairs. He was having some drinks downstairs and watching TV. He later came when we were almost done and gave her a peck. He asked her if I was good. She didn’t answer. She just gave him a peck and smiled,” she said.

She admitted that sometimes, she services men, but added, “It’s better to do it with a girl. She knows how to make you come and she cannot transmit diseases to you.”
There are also risks, she admitted. She remembered how she was approached by “one rich woman with a British accent.

“I agreed to follow her. However, when we got home, there were two other ladies waiting for me. She did not tell me I would be having sex with three women. But I had no choice. I was already there and I did it. I just renegotiated the amount,” she said.
This new trend of prostitution is fast spreading among teenagers, but is not restricted to them. The high and mighty in the society are involved. Other less fortunate in life are also involved in their level.
Tribe or religion is no barrier. P.M.NEWS was introduced to some lesbian prostitutes who claimed to be Muslims and others said they are Christians.

There were also others, who perhaps, due to the effect of alcohol, did not know which religion they practice.
Unlike the ordinary sex trade between men and women, those involved in the trade said they do not stand by the roadside to meet patrons.

Patrons and sex workers usually meet in some of the strip clubs in Lagos, exchange contacts or leave straightaway for their escapades. Rich women are involved mainly for pleasure while the workers are in it for money.
“It’s about connection. One person introduces “one person to another and it goes round. They are able to identify themselves through compliments like;oh! I love your legs. You have sweet b00bs. You look beautiful,’” another lesbian prostitute told P.M.NEWS in a strip club during the investigation. She added: “They also wink and look seductively at you. If they get a good response from you, then they know they are with the right person.”

She says some possess a high level of courage.
“They can walk up to any lady they find attractive as long as the environment is safe for them.” Other prostitutes argued that society women in Lagos who are involved in the trade are very caring.
“Especially if they find you interesting, in the sense that if you are able to make them reach orgasm. They will give you a special treatment such as take you for shopping and keep you as partner even after sex. They can then buy you a car or rent you an apartment,” one of the sex workers said, echoing what was heard from others in their business.

The payment for services rendered is determined by quality service offered by the prostitute.
“It could be sucking their private part or the ability to creatively use your hands to please them,” a sex worker said.
The excellent use of vibrators and a good massage can put one worker at an advantage position. The fees start from N15000 a night and can reach N100,000 in some cases. The amount dwarfs by far what is paid by men, which starts from N1000 or N2000 depending on the area.

The ghettos are no exception to the trade but the price is relatively poor, it was discovered. It varies between N2000 and N5000. One sex worker explained that even though the trade is based on connections and recommendations, there are special places where it is easy to get hooked with lesbians. Beauty salon, luxurious hotels, swimming pools and expensive shopping malls were mentioned.
Married women are also involved. They woo girls in need of money, including their friends’ daughters. Married women in the trade claim that their husbands are either not good enough in bed or too busy to attend to their sexual needs.

“They tell me their husbands do not satisfy them or are too busy and they can’t cheat with another man without being suspected,” a worker told P.M.NEWS.
“The good thing about it is that men cannot suspect them. Any woman can hang out with them and men are not bothered,” a sex worker said.

Some women, the prostitute explained, invite two girls to satisfy them.
The root of this new dimension of prostitution can be traced to “only-girls” boarding schools.
Young innocent girls in such schools are lured into the act by older girls, most time through bullying.

During this investigation, our correspondents interviewed dozens of sex workers mainly at strip clubs and attended a get together by lesbians and bi-sexuals.
