13 Ways You Know You’re Dating A High-Quality Woman
1. She encourages you to pursue your goals, but she doesn’t micromanage. She trusts you to make the right decisions in your own life. She’s the cheerleader, not the coach.
2. She doesn’t try to make you jealous. She’s secure in her worth, and your ability to recognize how valuable she is. She doesn’t need to play games to “trick” you into seeing her her for what she is.
3. She doesn’t have a princess complex. She demands that you treat her with respect — but because she is a person you love, not because she is a woman and therefore magically entitled to something. Just as she would expect you to treat your friends and family with respect, she knows you wouldn’t treat her any other way. A high-quality woman wouldn’t be with a man who was disrespectful to the people he is close to in life.
4. She has a part of her life that doesn’t involve you. Friends, hobbies, career — whatever. She’s confident and independent enough to not need your involvement in everything she does.
5. You wouldn’t think twice about inviting her into different parts of your life: a barbecue with your college friends, a dinner with your parents, a fancy work party — she knows how to handle herself in different settings. She’s mature enough to make a good impression with your colleagues and wise enough to know letting loose with your friends and having fun doesn’t mean she’s immature.
6. She takes care of herself. This doesn’t mean she is perfect, it means she is always improving. You don’t have to tell her she needs to solve a problem in her life. She’s self-aware and sees what issues she has and is self-motivated enough to constantly be working to improve them. She needs a partner, not a dad.
7. When she is in a situation where she doesn’t know people, she introduces herself confidently. She doesn’t cling meekly to your side waiting for you to facilitate every social interaction.
8. A reasonable, non-hyper-conservative employer could look at her social media presence and hire her.
9. She isn’t shy about sex. If she doesn’t want to do something, she can articulate why instead of just saying “ew”. Your sex life with her isn’t a shady secret she feels uncomfortable talking about, it’s adult and healthy and you both work to keep the flame alive.
10. She has opinions more than “idk” and she can talk calmly and non-hyperbolically about them. If she disagrees with you, you can have a conversation about it without anyone raising their voice.
11. She would never joke with her friends or family (or worse, your friends or family) about how men are “stupid” or childish, or whatever “happy wife happy life” mantra you’ve heard women use to put down the partners they love.
12. She knows what she wants in life. She doesn’t change her values or goals to tailor fit the guy she is with.
13. You feel lucky to be dating her because you know she would never date anyone just to date them. She isn’t afraid to be single and she is self-sufficient. You know she is dating you because she’s attracted to you and she thinks that you will help each other grow to be even higher quality, together.
Nyaya Bomb Blast Victim :RIP Ashe Peters -Mami
Nyaya Bomb Blast Victim : Ashe Peters -Mami Never Arrived At Work By Alkasim Abdulkadir.
She is fondly called Mami, Ashe Peters was loved by everybody, and her employer Mrs. Zakari Imam described her as an exceptional human being. The Nyaya to Central area Abuja route had been her route over the years like several other thousands of civil servants and artisans who commute daily to work in Nigeria’s capital city of Abuja.
To get to work in time before the day’s tasks, to beat traffic as it is called -the commuters always left their abodes early, especially Ashe who had never been late in arriving at her office as Mrs Imam’s assistant “She was a honest, hard working and wonderful person loved by all her colleagues and anyone who had the privilege of knowing her” she averred.
However, on Monday April 14th 2014 she left home as dutiful as always but never showed up for work, she didn’t show up because she never got there. Alas, she didn’t get there because at exactly 6.30 am a vicious bomb explosion ripped through the Elrufai Bus Park at Nyaya, killing scores of people. Some of the dead and injured were taken to Nyaya, Asokoro General Hospitals and National Hospital. However, several more are still on the missing list, never to be seen again by their loved ones. Mami isn’t just a number, in a country already suffering from tragedy fatigue from the statistics of the dead, it has become imperative for us to remind ourselves that she was here and she was human too like the rest of us. Ashe Peters lived with her brother in Nyaya she was in her late twenties and would have added a year more on the 21st of April; she went missing exactly a week to her birthday.
The days have been passing by, there have been long tortuous and traumatic searches for her in all the hospitals and the hope of finding Mami is fast deeming. Her families and friends are slowly coming to terms with the fact they might never see her again. Therein lies the greatest tragedy of losing her, for Mrs. Zahra Bakari-Imam the tears have refused to stop “I went to sleep crying, woke up crying I am still crying”.
Like Mami, Eze the mechanic, Mohammed Babangida, Abu and several others we will never know, they were all human beings with dreams like the rest for us, their only crime remains waking up and catching a bus to earn a living. At the end of the day, this veil of insecurity covers us all, no one is immune to it…not numbers they were human.
RIP Ashe Peters -Mami - May God Almighty console those you left behind!
Can't stop crying......
Igboland To Get Islamic University
•Boasts the best Islamic secondary school in Nigeria:
Unknown to most people in religiously divided Nigeria, the best Islamic secondary school in the country is not located in the Muslim-dominated North but in the largely Christian South-East, specifically in Afikpo, Ebonyi State.
Now there are plans to turn the school, known as Islamic Centre, Afikpo, into an Islamic University. This was disclosed by Sheikh Daud Nwagui, the Headmaster of the primary section of the school, who told the Daily Trust newspaper: “We hope to turn the school into a university, that is a university of Islamic studies. There is no school like this in the whole of the South-East.”
The hilly Afikpo town boasts the highest number of Igbo Muslims in the South-East, followed by the university town of Nsukka in neighbouring Enugu State. The Islamic Centre, Afikpo, was founded by Sheikh Ibrahim Okpani Nwagui, the father of the present headmaster, who brought Islam to Afikpo in 1958.
According to Sheikh Daud Nwagui, his late father embraced Islam in Senegal and promptly introduced the religion to his people when he returned to Nigeria in 1958.
“From that time a lot of people in the vicinity were turning to Islam. He was a very sincere person, and he was like this till his very last days. He was the founder of the Islamic Centre, Afikpo,” he said, adding: “This centre was set up in 1965 to propagate Islam generally. This is the best Islamic secondary school in the nation, and students come from all over the country, including Abuja.”
The Islamic Centre, Afikpo, has a primary and a secondary section. There are 450 pupils in the primary section, while the secondary section has some 500 pupils. Students write the NECO and SSCE examinations, just like other students in Nigerian secondary schools. The school has three boarding houses. A computer laboratory is under construction at the school.
Sheikh Daud Nwagui told Daily Trust that there is a special focus on Arabic as a language, on Islamic studies, physics, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Mathematics and Igbo. This, he explained, assists in producing a crop of rounded pupils.
The headmaster disclosed that graduates of the school have risen to prominent positions in the society. Many, he said, have done well in the areas of medicine, some are in the armed forces, also in engineering, and many have risen to become Chief Imams in many states of the federation.
Some graduates, Sheikh Daud Nwagui disclosed, are outside the country and doing very well in places such as Pakistan and India.
On challenges which the school has faced over the years, Sheikh Nwagui said that some form of challenge has come from those he described as ‘religious fanatics in the neighbourhood’ but quickly added: “But from the government of the state we are covered. The government gives us a lot of support.”

A MUST READ: Why Your Phones Batteries Can Explode In Your Pocket
Smartphone users have been warned by experts to live with the
possibility that their phones could explode – on the charger, next to
their beds or even in their pockets – at any time without warning.
It could be recalled that on Tuesday, 16-year-old Ina-Chérie Vermaak from Wonderboom South in Pretoria, South Africa was traumatised by the explosion of her Blackberry’s battery in her school bag as she was walking to class.
Her school uniform was burnt and she was enveloped in a cloud of white smoke. Telecommunication engineering experts have shed some light on why this happened and what can be done to prevent a battery exploding.
According to a senior lecturer at the University of Pretoria’s department of electrical, electronic and computer engineering, Jacques van Wyk, there was no way to prevent a possible explosion.
“It does not happen very often that a cellphone’s battery explodes but there is a chance that it could happen,” he said.
It is also not only cellphone batteries that can explode. Van Wyk said an explosion could occur because of a short circuit in the battery.
A short circuit could be more likely if the cellphone’s battery was left to run to below 10 percent. Manufacturers and service providers advise users not to let the battery get too flat before charging it.
However, charging can also lead to the battery overheating and thus exploding. “It is just one of those things and you cannot prevent the possibility that this could happen,” said Van Wyk.
Dr Linoh Magagula of the Tshwane University of Technology’s Department of Electrical Engineering said it “is rare for a cellphone to just explode” while it is lying somewhere.
He said it was more likely a phone would explode when it was left to charge for extended periods in a poorly ventilated area.
“If one is charging the cellphone, make sure it is charged in a properly ventilated area to prevent the battery from overheating,” he said.
He also said if the battery in Vermaak’s cellphone was not the original, the cells in the battery could have overheated.
“The cells could have been poorly insulated and if one cell overheats, the neighbouring cells will also heat up until the battery explodes. Magagula added that one could not rule out that the battery could have been faulty.
“If is was a factory fault, there is nothing one can do to prevent something like this happening,” said Magagula.
He said when a battery was replaced, the user should ensure it was an original battery.
How To Prevent Your Phone Battery To Explode:
Use only the manufacturer’s original battery or well-known replacement brands, rather than cheap substitutes.
Do not leave your device in hot areas, especially if it’s charging. That only worsens overheating problems.
If your phone is charging or you are using functions that cause it to heat up, make sure you are using it in a ventilated area.
Charging your battery at 50 percent is a good thing, to prevent it from running too low.
Leave your device off charge overnight and plug it in when you get up. (Naij)

Man Holds Daughter Hostage, Rapes Her Repeatedly
A 53-year-old Argentine man has been arrested by the police for allegedly fathering five children with his own daughter who he captive inside their Mendoza home since childhood.
The unnamed man who is a blacksmith is being accused of repeatedly raping his daughter who is now 31-year-old and also threatening his entire family including their children, aged two to 13, to silence them.
He was arrested and taken into custody after the husband of another one of his older daughters contacted police.
He told the police that the victim had no boyfriend and it was her father who had sexually abused her and impregnated her.
According to Manuel Ontiveros, from the Mendoza police sex crime unit, "the man sometimes passed his daughter off as his wife, when he was asked by neighbours or people outside of the family."
A police source added that the man had been arrested previously for abusing one of his other daughters, who left home after the incident. But he was not jailed, he was rather given a suspended sentence as it was not rape.
Authorities are now investigating whether the girl's mother, who left the family home six years ago, was complicit in her former husband's sexual abuse on the daughter.
Local media say the case resembles that of Australian monster, Fritzl who had seven children with the daughter he kept locked in a basement for 24 years.

STAR ACTOR REGRETS MARRYING WIFE – ‘You must not tell anybody that I am your husband’
This, no doubt, sounds crazy. But guess what? It’s nothing but the truth, like they say in the law court. One of the dashing and dazzling actors who is making serious waves in Nollywood at the moment, YES INTERNATIONAL! gathered, is not proud of his wife. And because of that, he has warned the woman who has given him about two children never to tell anyone that he is her husband.
The reason for his weird action is because he feels the woman does not befit him. The star actor, very handsome and currently rolling in money and picking awards here and abroad, married the woman, who is older than him, when he had nothing and was struggling to be somebody in life. But now that the Almighty God has blessed him, he is no longer proud of her, even though both of them still live under one roof. We gathered that in spite of being regularly invited to some of the biggest events in the country, not even for once has he attended any with the woman, an action she is no longer finding funny.
The situation became so bad recently that the woman had to cry out to one of her friends who shared the ‘info’ with us. The woman, by the way, besides being older than the actor, is also not particularly good looking. She was occupying a lucrative position and rolling in serious money when the actor who was then jobless decided to pitch his tent with her. But now he’s trying to ‘unpitch’ it – even though their union was consummated in one of the popular Pentecostal churches with headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos.
The actor is dark skinned, dresses well and of average height. The 2nd alphabet begins his first name. He has anchored a couple of prominent programmes and has always operated ‘codedly’. Yet to be encircled by a scandal, this raging issue may ultimately dent his Mr. Clean image. Except he does something fast and also finds a way to pacify his hurting wife and mother of his children.

Surgeon Accidentally Removes Woman's Ovary Instead Of Appendix
Another case of terrible medical error dating back to October 2011 has been recently made public in England.
A 32-year-old pregnant woman was taken to Queen's Hospital outside of London to have her appendix removed but instead of this doctors took out her ovary.
Victim of the medical mix-up Maria De Jesus, who was 21 weeks pregnant with her 4th child, died 3 weeks later.
Now two doctors are in court in connection with the case: a trainee surgeon Dr. Yahya Al-Abed and the supervising surgeon Dr. Babatunde Coker (who was supposed to follow the surgery).
While the trainee doctor was removing what he thought was the appendix, the supervising doctor was reportedly having his lunch. Coker was never summoned, nor was he aware the surgery was taking place...
Until the mistake was uncovered in November, when the woman returned to the hospital suffering from severe pain.
It was another doctor who diagnosed her with appendicitis, again. She underwent surgery the next day.
However, De Jesus died on the OR table having earlier delivered a stillborn boy.
Cause of death: multiple organ failure due to septicemia.
Local media report that the hearing is likely to last a month. (Naij)
