Ibadan-based prophet separates from wife, refuses to take his bath for 13 years because God told him to
Ibadan based prophet, Wale Olagunji of Divine Seed of God Chapel Ministry has revealed that he hasn’t taken his bath in 13 years because it was God’s instruction. He further disclosed that he was also instructed to separate from his wife and abstain from sex. “Even though I haven’t had my bath in 13 years, I don’t smell and I still look neater than those who bathe regularly. Early 2000, the Lord told me to stop taking my bath, separate myself from my wife and that I should stop taking all those soft drinks and wines. And since then I have diligently observed all those things. Whoever God wants to use for certain purposes on earth, there is a serious price attached to that calling. So I believe that is the price I am paying. As I am talking to you now, I have not taken my bath. If you want me to show you evidence, I will show you; I have not taken my bath since 2001 till this moment.” He told City People Magazine. When asked how he manages to remain hygienic and healthy, the prophet said“,That is the work of the Holy Spirit, I don’t have face towel, I don’t clean my body with anything. I wake up, and I just wear my clothes, water has not touched my body since 2001. I know it sounds mysterious, but when you look at Isaiah Chapter 20 verse 1 to 5, the Lord told Isaiah to walk bare-footed, without clothes, and to be naked for 3 and half years. If the Lord Almighty should say, Wale Olagunju, do likewise, I am sure people will say the man is mad.”
Wale Olagunju bagged a Bachelors of Art Degree in Theology and became a Prophet in 1993.

This Is The Reason Why APC Declares Fasting, Prayer Against Rivers’ PDP Guber Candidate
The Rivers State All Progressive Congress APC, have called for a
seven day fasting and prayers secession against Chief Nyesome Wike, the
Peoples Democratic Party PDP governorship candidate in the state.
The APC in the press statement stated that the
fasting and prayer program which is to will commence on 25th March, 2014
and ends on 1st April, 2014 at the APC State Secretariat old GRA Port
Harcourt during the normal period of the weekly prayer and thanksgiving
of APC Women.
Evangelist Dr. Davies Ibiamu Ikanya the Interim State Chairman of APC, Evangelist Mrs. Carol Nagbo the APC State Women Leader and other great men and women of God will be conducting the programme.
The APC statement signed by Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, SSA Media and Public Affairs to the Interim State Chairman, APC Rivers State read thus:
”We have read with profound gratitude reports of the adoption by the leadership of the opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, of Chief Nyesome Wike, the Supervising Minister of Education, as the party’s candidate for the 2015 gubernatorial election in the State. We are aware of the opposition of some camps in the disunited party to the choice of Wike and it is our prayer for these dissenters to sheathe their sword and support Wike’s candidature if they are really interested in saving Rivers State from the diabolical influence of PDP come 2015.
The PDP, however said the part has not endorsed anybody as its governorship candidate saying its gratifying that the APC could not hide its understandable fears for the possible emergence of a better and suitable candidate like Chief Nyesom Wike.
So rather than deceiving the public on the obvious motive for the prayer declaration, the APC should come out plainly and inform the potential prayer “warriors” of threat such candidature poses to the APC candidate to avoid praying amiss. (Naij)

APC
while stating that at the appropriate time the right candidate will be
elected went on further to reveal why the prayers and fasting is needed:
The fact remains that Chief Wike, who has spearheaded PDP-led
Federal Government’s onslaught against Rivers State, has lost political
value in the State. Most of the people that made him tick politically
have since deserted him to APC while some hungry loafers are massaging
his ego just to enable them have a meal at his expense.
Apart from Wike’s political baggage, another major factor counting against him is that he comes from the Ikwerre axis where the current Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, also comes from.
With Governor Amaechi spending eight years as Executive Governor of Rivers State by 2015, it will amount to political slavery of other sections of Rivers State to allow another Ikwerre man to be elected Governor come 2015 and as a just political party we will not allow such blunder to happen no matter the odds.
Meanwhile the PDP has reacted to this
development in a statement signed by Jerry Needam SA, on Media to State
PDP Chairman, Bro. Felix Obuah: ”such action by the
APC is not only a waste of time and our People’s resources, but
apparently, a blasphemy and sacrilegious as the APC has never shown any
disposition to the things of the Most High God, but has over the period
exhibited high rate of recklessness, violence, insensitivity to the
plights of the people, misappropriation of public funds and peddling of
lies and blackmails.’Apart from Wike’s political baggage, another major factor counting against him is that he comes from the Ikwerre axis where the current Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, also comes from.

The cleric, who has just finished his 40-day fasting, stated that God revealed to him that the Nigerian opposition will win more states in the election and that during the presidential elections although Jonathan will have 3 strong rivals, he will win.
Odutayo added:
"The upcoming election will be very tough for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but they will win the presidency."
It would be recalled that several renowned pastors have already predicted Jonathan's victory in the upcoming elections: Dr Chris Okafor, Pastor Bassey James and others.

BARBARIC: How This Man Was Butchered To Death In Broad Day Light Four Days After Burying Mother
A middle aged man, Oforma Itodo, has been allegedly hacked to
death in Aji Community, Igbo- Eze North Local Government Area, Enugu
State, barely four days after burying his mother.
It was gathered that the deceased just returned to bury his mother only to be attacked by unknown assailants, allegedly numbering over 50, armed with matchets, axes and guns. A family source to the deceased who pleaded anonymity told newsmen that the assailants invaded their compound in their numbers in the early hours of March 3, 2014, accosted Oforma with matchets, axes and guns, and refused to hear from any of the family members who pleaded to know what was the problem.
“The assailants made straight to Oforma who was caring his little baby, forced the baby out of his hands and started butchering him with matchets at every part of his body before dragging him out of the compound to an unknown place where they finally finished him, abandoned him and fled. We are yet to know what may have caused the attack and killing barely four days after our mother was buried,” he lamented.
The source further disclosed that the assailants did not cover their identities as they know a good number of them, alleging that one James who was popularly known in the community as Otiyo allegedly was the first person to matchet him. He also alleged that among the assailants were a herbalist, a hunchback and others whose surnames could not be ascertained as at press time.
The source wondered why the assailants who were operating as members of a neighborhood watch in the community did not take him to Enugu Ezike Police Station for interrogation if he had committed any crime than the jungle justice meted on him.
The deceased, Oforma, popularly known in the community as “One Kaine man” was said to have been out of the community for quite sometime, evading the so called neighborhood watch, allegedly being run by a top government official in Enugu who hailed from the community because he refused to join them.
It was also gathered that the killing of Oforma was to permanent cover up implicating statements of some armed robbers recently arrested in the community with dangerous weapons. The suspects had allegedly mentioned names of some prominent persons in the community as their sponsors.
Family sources revealed that the deceased had earlier petitioned the Inspector- General of Police over threats to his life which was forwarded to Enugu State Police Command for investigations.
The matter, according to the source, took a different dimension later after it got to an Enugu High Court where surprisingly, the petitioner was allegedly charged as an accused person instead of the complainant. The High Court Judge on seeing that the matter was upturned against the complainant, discharged him and since then, his assailants have been after him. They killed him four days after he buried his mother.
A competent source in the community disclosed that the killer group were not genuine members of the neighborhood watch in the community but were allegedly working for the top Government Official who was said to have paid a whopping sum of N300,000.00 to the leader of the killer-group who allegedly directed his boys to carry out the barbaric and gruesome murder of Oforma. Investigation also revealed that the leader of the gang hired some men from outside the community while a good number of them were natives of Aji Community. They invaded Oforma’s house around 5.30am on that fateful day.
Contacted for comments, Enugu State Police Public Relations Office, PPRO, Ebere Amarizu( DSP) said that the deceased was mentioned by three armed robbery suspects already reminded in prison custody as one of their members who escaped when they were arrested, explaining that angry mob attacked him as he returned.
It was also said that the mob gave him severe beating leaving him half dead while he died before police could come to rescue the situation in the community.

My Wife Is HIV Positive - Man Asks Court To Dissolve His Seven-Yr-Old Marriage
A 38-year-old civil servant, Silas Dodo, has prayed an Upper
Area Court in Mararraba, Nasarawa State, to dissolve his marriage with
his wife because she is HIV-positive.
Dodo, who lives at Masaka, Nasarawa State, told the court on Tuesday that he wanted to divorce his 35-year-old wife, he married in 2007.
He told the court that his wife was found to be HIV-positive following a recent test they had.
Dodo also told the court that he met his wife in 2002 at the Federal University of Technology, Yola, and they married in 2007 in a church.
He said both he and his wife were screened on the church’s directive for HIV before their wedding, and the result indicated they were HIV-negative.
According to him, not too long after their marriage, his sexual relationship with his wife deteriorated as she started denying him of sex.
The complainant said his wife was always falling sick, a condition that compelled him to take her to several health centres for test where she was found to be HIV-positive.
He said when he found that she was HIV-positive he instructed his lawyer to write her and his church.
Dodo told the court his wife later packed out of their matrimonial home in Masaka and went to live on her own at Auta Balaifi.
He tendered the result of the various tests on his wife to buttress his claim.
In her response the woman, who was not represented by a counsel, admitted that the HIV test results tendered by her husband were genuine.
Counsel to the complainant, Mr Elisah Onaji, therefore urged the court to adjourn the case to another date.
The presiding officer, Mr Vincent Gwahemba, adjourned the matter till March 31 for continuation of hearing.

An Abuja Senior Magistrates’ Court in Karu on Tuesday sentenced to 30 days imprisonment for stealing two laptops.
The Senior Magistrate, Mr Aminu Abdullahi, sentenced Osigbembe after
he pleaded guilty to a two-count charge of criminal trespass and theft
brought against him by the police.
Abdullahi advised the convict to return to his village and take to farming instead of engaging in criminal acts that could destroy his life.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Mohammed Garba, had earlier told the court that Osigbembe stole the laptops, belonging to one Anselm Njoku, at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) secretariat in Abuja.
Garba said that it was when Njoku stepped out of his office that the convict sneaked in and took the laptops, kept on the table.
He said but luck ran out on the convict when Njoku returned to his office in time and caught him trying to escape with the computers.
He said that the offences contravened sections 342 and 288 of the Penal Code.
Pleading guilty, Osigbembe burst into tears and told the court that hardship led him into stealing.
He said: “I used to sell compact discs around the FCDA secretariat until some environmental protection officials stormed my roadside shop and confiscated more than 40 CDs.
“I had to send my wife and kids to the village because I could no longer cater for them.”
Convicting him, the magistrate, who did not give an option of fine, said: “You are not supposed to be seen again in Abuja since you have said you have nothing doing here.
“Why not go back to your village and farm? You are still very strong and healthy and stealing isn’t an option for you.
“I hope you will yield to this advice after serving your prison term.”
