The Cause Of Bruce Jenner's Fatal Car Crash

Bruce Jenner was reportedly involved in a fatal car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

TMZ reported that one person was killed in the wreck, and seven others were injured.

Bruce himself is reportedly unharmed, and it is not known at this time if he bears any responsibility for the crash, though he did strike the car of the woman who was killed.

Jenner, of course, has been a tabloid staple in recent weeks as a result of his highly-publicized gender transformation.

Jenner's sex change has been the subject of rumors for years, and will now be featured in an E! network reality show.

The accident is not expected to impact Jenner's reality show, as he is not expected to face any charges in relation to the crash.

Early reports indicate that four cars were involved in the accident, and the seven people who were treated suffered only minor injuries.

Jenner has yet to speak publicly about the incident, but TMZ reports that the former Olympian volunteered to go to a nearby hospital to have his blood drawn for alcohol testing, and authorities have already determined that he was not speeding.

In the world of rich Igbo recipes, Ofe Owerri would be king (Ukwa would be Queen, but that’s a recipe for another day). This soup is as rich as they come.

Ofe Owerri is a delicacy among some of the Igbos, and it’s no wonder. It’s not an über affordable recipe to have often, and in most homes, it’s reserved for special occasions; not only due to the costs associated, but for the fact that the best Ofe Owerri shouldn’t be frozen

To enjoy Ofe Owerri, the vegetables shouldn’t be cooked to oblivion, they should still preserve some modicum of freshness, and freezing the soup will negate that. So, the best Ofe Owerri is made and enjoyed the same day it is made. 

The main requirement for the best Ofe Owerri is that every mouthful should contain vegetables, meat, fish, etc. 

Ingredients

2kg of goat meat, cut into 2 inch pieces
5 large snails, washed, and chopped into bite sized pieces
500g of kanda/pomo/cow skin, washed, and chopped into bite sized pieces
500g of Okporoko/Panla/Dried cod, softened
500g of dried fish, softened
1 cup of Oporo/smoked prawns
1 cup of ground dried crayfish
2 wraps of ogili
1 tablespoon of ground dry pepper
1 teaspoon of ground Uziza seeds/Ashanti pepper
1kg of cocoyam
1/3 cup of palm oil

2stock cubes
2 cups of sliced ugu leaves

2 cups of sliced Ora/Oha leaves
1 cup of sliced uziza leaves
1 tablespoon of salt, divided
1 teaspoon of salt

Method

Wash the stock fish, cook until tender then set aside.

Season the goat meat with chopped onion, fresh Scotch bonnet Chilli and Jumbo All Purpose Seasoning.

Peel and Slice in cubes the Coco yam and add to the content cook on medium heat for 20mins.

Remove the Coco Yam and mash it and add to the stock to thicken the juice

At this point add the stock fish and blended Bell pepper and scotch bonnet chilli for the colour in replacement to palm oil ( optional)

Wash and deboned dry fish allow to cook for 15 mins.

Add Jumbo all purpose seasoning, Ugu, Okazi and turn off heat

After another 5 mins and serve with Pounded yam, Garri or Fufu. Enjoy....

Sarah Of Our Time: Meet The 56 Year Old Ethiopian Woman Who Gave Birth To Her First Child

A 56-year-old Kiryat Malachi woman gave birth at the age of 56 to her first child — a healthy 3.01-kilo baby boy.

  

The new mother came on aliya from Ethiopia during Operation Solomon in 1991.

Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot reported on Monday that the woman was kept in a hospital bed for a month to protect the fetus from movement that could endanger the birth, which was carried out by cesarean section.

The woman, Tami, has nine brothers and always dreamed of having her own child, but she and her husband did not succeed. After a long, supportive talk with her niece, who urged her not to give up, she discovered she was pregnant. She thanked the hospital staff for their devotion and support. “I am so excited that I am now able to hold this stota (“gift” in Amharic) in my arms,” she said.

Prof. Zion Hagai, head of obstetrics at the hosptial, said that “the Kaplan medical staff honor the will of women who want to become a mother even at an advanced age. There is no doubt that there are risks posed by pregnancy and during a cesarean section at an advanced age. But at the same time, the risks vs. benefits are considered, especially for a first birth… In this case, Tami gave birth to a healthy baby.”

According to his 'surgeon', med-school dropout Emilio Gonzalez, who specialises in tattooing and extreme body surgery, Mr Damon 'knew that this was his opportunity.'

'He has loved comic books since he was a kid and always dreamed of being Red Skull, but never got round to doing it. Henry aka Red Skull is a physically and intellectually healthy person. He's an excellent son, husband and father, who has an extreme taste for body modification. 

Most of my customers know that body modification is the last step of body art, everyone knows very well what they want and as well as Henry, many of them are waiting for me for many years to make their dreams a reality.' 

Mr Gonzalez added that Mr Damon is not done with his transformation, and is about to take it even further. Mr Gonzalez said:

'Next will be silicone implants on the cheekbones, chin and cheeks. Then we will tattoo his entire face red and then he will be Red Skull.'

The sad story of Bobbi Kristina Brown may soon reach a tragic conclusion, as sources close to the situation say Bobbi will be taken off of life support some time within the next week.

It's impossible to make sense of why a beautiful, beloved, well-off 21-year-old with a blossoming music career would set off on the same self-destructive path that claimed her mother's life, but one insider says those who know Bobbi best had long feared for her health and well-being.

"Her self-destruction went from zero to one hundred the day her mother died," says the source.

The unidentified insider adds that the death of Whitney Houston was the beginning of the end for Bobbi, as they'd shared an unusually close bond since she was a child.

"Whitney shared too much information about the marriage with Bobbi. It made Bobbi gravitate more toward Whitney's feelings and that's why she grew to resent Bobby."

The source says Bobby and Whitney's troubled marriage profoundly influenced the relationship between Bobbi and Nick.

"In Bobbi's mind, [she and Gordon] were Bonnie and Clyde against the world, high and happy, eerily similar to the relationship Whitney had with Bobbi. For Bobbi, that was the ultimate utopia. She wanted what her mother had, because she felt that was the norm."

As for the news that Bobbi is not going to make it, the insider says doctors informed her family that the prognosis was grim from the start.

"There was always a very small chance that she would make it," says the source. "She would have needed a caretaker and wouldn't have been able to function as a normal adult."

Bobbi Kristina Brown May Be Taken Off of Life Support

As days pass with no indication that Bobbi Kristina Brown will emerge from her coma, doctors have reportedly told her father, Bobby Brown, that the time has come to consider removing her from life support.

Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in her bathtub on January 30, and nearly one week later she has yet to regain consciousness.

Family and friends were momentarily encouraged when Bobbi opened her eyes but doctors told the family that that development doesn't necessarily mean that she's any closer to emerging from her coma.

The decision is now in Bobby Brown's hands, and doctors have reportedly informed the 46-year-old R&B singer that there appears to be no hope of his daughter recovering.

Fox News was the first to report that Bobbi was not going to make it, according to medical professionals.

Now, that sad news has been confirmed by TMZ.

The website is reporting that Bobby Brown is avoiding making the decision today (which happens to be his birthday), because a family member of his once emerged from a coma after eight days.

For that reason, Brown is reportedly maintaining hope and planning to put off a decision regarding life support until after the weekend.

Scary reality that one day we all will be in dis box. Scary reality that one day we cant move our hands or shout or feel anything. Scary reality that a day will come wen our fine
faces, smooth skins, pointed noses, big sparkly eyes, lovely voises, cute nails, etc will be buried 6ft under d ground. 

Scary reality that on dat day by 2pm latest we will sweat under d soil n in d dark of our caskets there wont be brothers, sisters, friends, lovers, associates to keep us company or rescue us from the stuffy nature of d grave. Scary reality that our marble houses, cars, bank accounts, electronic gadgets and all the beautiful faces n places of the earth we see no more. 

Then we may b around but cant be seen. We may shout but cant be heard. Then we would so wish to be heard, or to turn our hands or legs. While we lie in state n being payed our last respects we would so wish we could be heard bcos we will b screaming to those arnd but they wont hear. Then they will close d casket...take us to d grave n our shouts of pleas would not stop them from lowering us 6ft down or from covering us with heaps of earth soil..

Then we sweat..cry..n its over. We will decay n bring forth maggots and our smell will even kill us the second time. You think we wont feel all these? Well wait till u die...but believe me even @ death we are alive to tell what we feel. And then we start a journey to the unknown destination. 

So why live life like a day like dis will not come. Why put so much time acquiring riches either by hook or crook? Why kill to live lavishly while a day like dis waits for all of us? Presidents and beggers will all fall n will not rise. Then the big question is what will it profit us to gain d whole world when we will all go to dust with nothing but only our souls? Those we killed would even wait for us.

 Those we broke their hearts to are waiting. Those we cheated are also there chilling n counting days for us. The lives entrusted into our care we failed be responsible for and eventually got wasted are all there waiting for us. Nigerians that our government killed are there too. People that our police killed r there too. D kids we flushed r there too. The results of our negligence r there too. So would God and devil waiting to recieve us.

Life is a privilege to do things better. Lets live with this consciousness before a day like this comes.

Were Drugs Found at the Scene? Check Out Bobbi Kristina Brown Update

With Bobbi Kristina fighting for her life while hooked up to a ventilator in a Georgia hospital, a new reports suggests that drugs may have played a role in the troubled young woman's current state.

Not long after Bobbi Kristina was placed under medical supervision on Saturday, authorities executed a search warrant and did not find any illicit substances inside Brown's home.

HOWEVER, family members now tell TMZ that the police only looked for drugs that were “out in the open” at the time.
 
They’ve since searched Bobbi Kristina's residence again and have, indeed, seized a handful of drug-related items.

The cops themselves have not confirmed this report and no details are available right now regarding what, exactly, was found.

For many years after Brown's famous mother died, back in February of 2012, those close to Bobbi Kristina were concerned about her drug use.

A video surfaced of the young star smoking out of a bong, while many believed she needed to check in to rehab.

But Bobbi Kristina's cousin recently told E! News that his relative had not smoked or drank in many months at the time of her tragic incident over the weekend, when Bobbi was found face down and unconscious in a bathtub.

Her husband and a friend helped keep Bobbi alive until help arrived and she was rushed to the hospital.
