Feliz cumpleaños, Leandra Becerra Lumbreras.The Mexican woman thought to be the oldest person in the world reportedly turned 127 on Sunday, according to the Metro. Lumbreras says she was born on Aug. 31, 1887. Her family said her secrets to longevity are eating chocolate , sleeping a lot and not getting married. “She was always a woman who fought. She was still sewing and weaving until about two years ago,’ granddaughter Miriam Alvear, 43, told El Horizonte , according to a translation by Metro. But as the Telegraph reports, Lumbreras lost her birth certificate during a move 40 years ago. According to El Horizonte, Lumbreras has 73 great-grandchildren and 55 great-great-grandchildren. “Her parents were singers,” Alvear said. “She loves to entertain her grandchildren with the old songs they taught her.”

GOZIE & NJIDEKA OKEKE RECONCILE AT LAST

News coming in from eastern Nigeria is that Gospel singing couple, Gozie and Njideka Okeke have reconciled and are back together as husband and wife.

The both parties were separated for a while on claims of homosexuality. Njideka accused her husband Gozie Okeke of indulging in homosexuality, an act which believed to be common among entertainers (Gospel musicians inclusive). Gozie on the other hand called out Njideka in records which he released following the breakup.

He referred to her as, ‘Dilila’. After the breakup, Njieka veered into acting, Gozie continued in the pursuit of his music career. But going by the above story, the couple may have reconciled at last and this news will definitely sound very interesting to fans of the Akanchawa couple…

Meanwhile they are said to have released a new album titled, ‘Reconciliation Praise Vol. 1’…

FBI Opens Investigation Into Celebrity Nude Photo Leak

Some folks may be joking about it, and others may be refreshing their browsers for more photos of Kaley Cuoco nude, but the authorities are taking this week's celebrity nude photo leak VERY seriously.

In a statement released yesterday afternoon, a spokesperson for the FBI addressed what has become known as The Fappening and said:

"The FBI is aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals, and is addressing the matter. Any further comment would be inappropriate at this time."

On Sunday, shots of Jennifer Lawrence nude, Kate Upton topless and many other famous females striking illicit poses hit the Internet.

A 4chan user bragged that he broke into the cell phones and computers of these women and that he is in possession of endless pictures and videos as a result.

Lawrence and Upton have both released statements that vow legal action against anyone publishing their stolen photos.

Elsewhere, an Apple spokesperson told Recode.net the company is "active investigating" whether or not their iCloud system was hacked as part of this leak.

Kirsten Dunst clearly believes Apple is to blame, as images of this actress have also gone viral and she has placed the blame squarely on Apple's wealthy shoulders.

"Thank you iCloud," Dunst Tweeted yesterday.

Lena Dunham, meanwhile, has labeled the hacker a sex offender and urged folks not to view the X-rated pictures.

"When you look at these pictures, you are violating these women again and again," the Girls star wrote. "It’s not okay."

Train knocks down Ghanaian AC Milan footballer in Italy

AC Milan’s striker, Isaac Akuetteh, was knocked down by a train in the town of Como on Sunday. 

The 15 year-old is a product of the Milan Youth Sector. 

According to reports, Akuetteh was knocked down while listening to music on his headphones and was unaware of the oncoming train. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he is currently receiving medical attention. Milan said in an official statement: “Isaac, all of Milan is close to you and hoping for your best goal, do not give up!” Ghanaian senior players at AC Milan Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien are said to have visited him on Sunday night after their match against Lazio.

I Killed My Father Over A Stick Of Cigarette” – Suspect

The Edo State Police Command, yesterday, paraded 63 suspected armed robbers, child defilers and murderers, including a 25-year-old boy who murdered his father after a quarrel over a stick of cigarette he stole from his father. Confessing his sins, Best Momodu, an indigene of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, who murdered his father, said he committed an ugly act with anger after he stole a stick of cigarette from his father.

He said: “I stole his cigarette and he found out. So he started shouting at me and quarreling. So, mistakenly I took a knife and stabbed him. I have not seen the dead body but I heard he died. But the community people arrested me after I killed him.”

The state Commissioner of Police, Folunso Adebanjo, who paraded the suspects, admonished residents of the state to be vigilant particularly at the airports, crowded places, uncompleted buildings and to monitor their environments. Declaring that the police in the state had put up strategies to curb crime this ember months, the CP raised alarm over increasing number of cases of child defilers in the state and urged parents to be watchful, saying the activities of child defilers are not only worrisome but wicked.

According to him, “this is the beginning of the ember months, these are times criminals will want to reap where they did not sow.

I want to thank the people of the state for their corporation and I urge for continued partnership between the police and the public.

“If you observe anything around, report to the police, monitor all uncompleted buildings because that is where criminals hide.”

Conductor Arrested And Charged For Biting Off The Ear Of a Passenger Over N20

 According to P.M NEWS report, the incident happened at Micon bus stop in Egbeda after a disagreement between Ajayi and the passenger, Kabiru Olugbemi.

It was gathered that Olugbemi boarded a bus and paid Ajayi  N30 instead of the N50 the conductor demanded.

When Olugbemi got to Micon bus stop en route Egbeda, he alighted from the bus but just as he tried to walk away, an angry Ajayi reportedly grabbed his left her and bit it off, throwing it on the ground.

An eyewitness informed that the victim bled profusely and was rushed to a hospital with the falling ear where a doctor confirmed that the ear was dead and cannot be fixed back.

After the matter was reported to Idimu police Station, Ajayi was arrested and charged to court.

He was charged with inflicting permanent injury on the victim under the Criminal Code. When he was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty.

The presiding magistrate, Mr P.E.Nwaka granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.

He was remanded in prison custody pending when he fulfills his bail condition.

The matter was adjourned till 6 October, 2014.

MAN ARRESTED FOR BURNING AND URINATING ON BIBLE

 

Arizona police has arrested a man for allegedly burning and urinating on a Bible called himself the 'Dark Lord' when the cops came to get him.

Police were called to a Christian homeless shelter on Thursday night in the city of Prescott, Arizona, USA, after reports a man was burning something on the front step.

When they arrived they found 22-year-old Eric Minerault standing on the steps. He was dressed in black, wearing a long black and red robe and a pentagram necklace according to the police arrest report.

The officers noticed a Bible on the ground next to him, which was wet and appeared to have been burnt.

In a statement, Lieutenant Ken Morley wrote: "He [Minerault] said that he chose the mission because he believed it was a place of Christian worship and he was cursing the Christians.

The officers asked him why and he said because he is the Dark Lord."

Minerault was arrested and taken into the Yavapai County Detention Center on suspicion of one count of unlawful symbol burning stemming from the incident at the Gospel Rescue Mission.
