Girl Bites Off Man’s Finger For Selling Blackberry Phone Filled With Stones In Lagos

A man identified simply as Ifeanyi had his finger bitten by a girl yesterday for selling a blackberry phone filled with stones to her at Westminster Market, along Apapa- Oshodi expressway, Olodi -Apapa area of Lagos State.
The girl, Nkechi had bought a fairly-used phone from Ifeanyi at the sum of N15,000 on Monday and was instructed by the seller to charge the battery for at least four hours before usage after he had tested if the phone is working in her presence.
Unknown to her, one of the members of the seller’s syndicate swapped the one that had been tested with a dud one. When she got home, she plugged the phone to charge it as instructed but was shocked when no light came on. She then opened the battery, only to discover stones smartly packed inside the phone.
She quickly went back to the seller of the phone who attempted to escape when he saw her but she quickly grabbed him and raised an alarm which attracted passersby.
As Ifeanyi tried to loosen her grip on him, she was said to have bitten his finger.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital while some youths who sympathised with the girl helped her to escape
from the scene.
An eyewitness who identified himself as Ikenna, confirmed that Ifeanyi is a member of a syndicate that defrauds people through sales of fake items at the Westminster market.

ANC Wins Again In South Africa

The African National Congress, ANC has secured majority votes in the recent South African Elections.

This was the first election held since the death of their iconic leader Nelson Mandela in December last year.
The ANC acquired only 62.15 per cent of the votes, the lowest ever since independence, they had 62.65 per cent (1994), 66.35 per cent (1999), 69.69 per cent (2004), 65.9 per (2009).
The foremost opposition, the centrist Democratic Alliance, DA acquired only 22% , a 5% increase from its last outing in 2009.
However now ANC faces a unique problem, as they did not get the two-thirds majority it requires in parliament to push its legislations, They now have to form and depend on alliances.
Julius Malema led leftwing Economic Freedom Fighters came in third with only 5.51%.
This is South Africa's third election since Apartheid and voter turnout was an impressive 73%.
Nelson Mandela had led ANC during his fight against Apartheid and since 1994 they have dominated the South African elections.
Jabulani Radebe, revealed the numbers where not suprising, he said: "I am not surprised because even though people have criticised President Zuma, we as members separate the leaders from the party. It means that even if Zuma is gone tomorrow, it shows the ANC is still strong and will go on," he said.
"It seems the opposition spent a lot of time attacking the ANC rather than offering alternatives and maybe this benefitted us," Radebe added.

Solange, Jay Z Issue Statement on Fight: Both Stars Take Blame, Apologize For Actions

Jay Z and Solange Knowles have officially addressed the infamous fight that broke out in an elevator May 5, then nearly broke the Internet a week later.

Solange, the younger sister of Jay's wife Beyonce, and the rapper/mogul say in a joint statement that both parties are to blame for the violence episode:

                 Solange Knowles-Jay Z Fight:

Jay Z, Solange, and Beyonce released the statement moments ago, saying, "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred."
"They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."
"Reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different."
"We love each other and above all we are family," the statement reads.
"We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."

Good for them. Here's hoping it's true and not just good-sounding PR.
The statement doesn't explain what led to Solange attacking Jay Z in the elevator that night, but both Jay and Solange say they have worked through it.
There are many theories, from Rachel Roy's relationship with Jay to his refusal to help her career to Solange's mental state and even more far-fetched ones:
Solange Has a Drinking ProblemSolange Has a Drinking Problem?
Many have pointed out that the fight took place at the end of a very long night of partying, and Solange may have been drunk at the time of the event. Reactions from those around her suggest this sort of thing happens often.

Must Read--- Ways Of Satisfying A Woman In Bed

As long as you put your partner’s sexual needs ahead of yours, and remember to keep sex fresh, your sex life will stay exciting and alive for a long time to come.

#1 If all else fails, this usually succeeds. If you’re having a hard time getting your woman warmed up for the act, just go down on her and spend a gentle while down there. Almost always, this would help build the momentum for a great night ahead.
#2 Take time during foreplay. Most men hurry the foreplay bit without any consideration for the woman they’re with. Just because you’re up and ready doesn’t mean your woman is ready too. Take your time before penetration, and both of you will enjoy sex a lot more.
#3 Remember her erogenous zones. The typical erogenous zones in a woman are several, going from the back of her neck, her ears, and all the way to her knees and her toes. But each woman has a few special sweet spots that switch the button on instantly. Kiss and nibble the entire length of her body and make sure you remember the zones that excite her more than the others. It’ll always come in handy the next time you want to arouse her faster.
#4 Don’t roll over and sleep. Falling asleep immediately after sex is a good sign because it means you’re secure enough in the relationship to just enjoy the relaxing after-sex sensation without having to worry about awkward moments. But there’s a thin line between being secure and taking your woman for granted. Cuddle up after sex or indulge in pillow talk for a while. Or just fall asleep in each others arms.
#5 Your hygiene matters. Looking good for your woman makes a huge difference in the experience she has in bed. After all, a better looking partner is more of a turn on, isn’t it? But you need to remember that looking good doesn’t just mean a six pack abs.Have a shower if you’re making love at the end of a long day, and keep all those hairy regions clean and trimmed. Smell great and feel great in bed, and your woman will definitely have a hard time keeping her hands off of you!

Mother Of Nyanya Explosion Victim Recalls The Tragic Day 16 May, 2014

http://img.naij.com/n/06/7/nyanya_blast_victim_s_mother.jpg
Lydia Nwange, mother of a 15-year-old victim of April 14 Nyanya bombing, narrated to Premium Times how the tragedy came to their family.

It would be recalled that this explosion became the direst attack in the history of Abuja, the country capital, having left 74 people dead and more than 200 injured.
On the fateful day Mrs. Nwange, okpa seller, left her daughter with a one day sales portion of okpa at the park, but soon after that the planted bomb went off, and upon the mother's quick arrival the girl was all in flames.
She tried desperately to save her kid, but all the efforts failed.
Chinazor Nwange was the first child of the family and "the closest to me", as the woman confessed to the interviewer.
Shockingly, the day before the tragedy hit Abuja outskirts the girl had said to her mother that it would be her last time to go with her because she planned to travel for church retreat the next day, to which Mrs. Nwange agreed.
On the day her daughter died, the woman left her hardworking child to sell okpa at one place and left to do the same thing at another place in the same area. Soon she heard the deafening sound and saw the fire.
"I ran towards that side shouting, my child, my child. As I got to the spot, I saw the okpa on a tray and the umbrella just where I told my daughter to sit, then I saw my daughter just right beside the okpa, burning; she was still alive and struggling in the fire. It was just her toes left. I screamed and rushed to rescue my daughter but I realised people were holding me back, warning that I might be consumed in the fire too."
According to the victim's parents, they haven't seen the daughter's body yet, after having visited numerous hospitals.
When asked about how she has lived since Chinazor's death, the grieving Mrs. Nwange confessed she has been spending her time indoors "in pains and tears" over the loss of her child and added:
"At every move I make in the house I remember her and how I saw her burn to death and could do nothing to save her."

Pakistani Schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai Donates N16.4m to Nigeria over Missing Schoolgirls

A painted portrait of Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani schoolgirl shot in the head by the Taliban, doing her homework fetched $102,500 at an auction on Wednesday in New York. And according to Malala, the proceeds will be donated from her Malala Fund to Nigerian nonprofits that focus on education for women and girls in the wake of the kidnapping of more than 300 schoolgirls in that country.

Last week, the Malala Fund had launched a special fund in response to the crisis in Nigeria with Malala saying:
“I was shocked and saddened when I heard about the abduction of more than 200 girls by terrorists in Nigeria. I am very concerned about these innocent girls, my sisters, whose
only crime was going to school and learning.
I believe it is our duty to stand together in solidarity with their parents, families and relatives. We all have a voice and we must speak up and call on the international community and the government of Nigeria to intervene and bring these girls back to their homes safely. Together we can create a world where no child will be out of school and no student will fear for her or his safety.”
The painting was done in 2013 by leading British artist Jonathan Yeo and shows Malala after she started attending a school in Birmingham, England, where she now lives.

Malala, now 16, was shot by a Taliban gunman in 2012 over her outspoken views on education for girls in her home region of northwest Pakistan. After undergoing extensive medical treatment, she now lives in Britain.
