4 family members, friends travelling to lagos from Ilaro killed in crash

The Federal Road Safety Commission said three persons died and three others sustained injuries in an accident which occurred on the Papa-Ilaro road on Wednesday.
The FRSC Unit Commander in Ogun, Mr Fatai Bakare, told the News Agency of Nigeria at Itori that the accident occurred at about 11.45am in Oteyi-Oyeboku village near Ilaro.
Bakare said the accident involved an articulated vehicle with number plate XB 641 BBR, which collided with a Volkswagen bus.
“The occupants of the bus were family members and friends who were heading to Lagos State from Ilaro,’’ he said.
The commander, who attributed the cause of the auto crash to over-speeding and careless driving, explained that the driver lost control and collided with the bus.
Bakare said three male occupants died, while three others in the bus were injured.
“The corpses of the male victims have been deposited at the morgue of the General Hospital in Ifo while the injured persons are receiving treatment at the hospital,” he added

Pregnant woman sentenced to death for marrying a Christian

A Sudanese court who gave a 27-year-old  pregnant until Thursday to abandon her newly adopted Christian faith and return to Islam has been slammed with a death sentence.
The judge said at the ruling

"We gave you three days to recant but you insist on not returning to Islam. I sentence you to be hanged to death,

According to Daily Mail, on March 4th,Mariam Yahya Ibrahim  who is eight-months was charged with apostasy as well as adultery for marrying a Christian man, something prohibited for Muslim women to do and which makes the marriage void. A relative had turned her in to the police. According to the Sudan’s Public Order Criminal Code,Meriam is a Muslim by default because she was born in Sudan.Thus, her marriage to a Christian is a criminal act
 .
On February 7, 2014, Meriam was arrested, with her 20-month-old son, and put in a women’s prison. She had not been charged nor did she receive a fair trial.

The adultery charge came with a punishment of 100 lashes.The apostasy charge came with a punishment of death. As it stands, Meriam will be put to death following the birth of her second child.

Meriam’s husband, Daniel, is not allowed to care for their child, Martin, because he is a Christian. Therefore, Martin, almost two years old, is in prison with his mother. Daniel is not allowed to visit or see his son. (Miss Petite)

Popular Nigerian music duo, P-Square, are not only famous for their sweet songs but also because of their dancing talents.

The twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye, who recently completed a world tour to showcase some of their latest songs, have revealed some exclusive pictures of their dancing steps at a concert in Saint Lucia.
It could be recalled that rumours had been making rounds sometime ago that the twins were going to split up over irreconcilable differences, putting the Nigerian music world and their fans all-over the world in disarray.
However, with the release of the videos of their latest hit song called, TESTIMONY, the group affirmed that there will be no such thing happening between them any time soon.
Earlier today, Peter went on his twitter account and shared some pictures of them on set, giving their fans a sneak of what happened at Saint Lucia concert.

“I did not intentionally leave the music scene. I had a car accident that affected my spine in 2007. Because it affected my spine, I could not do anything. For about three years, I could not walk and I was in a hospital in the UK. From there, I was transferred to another hospital in Germany. When I returned to Nigeria, I decided to rest a little before resuming work. In the process of resting, some incidents happened. After the fuel subsidy protest, some people came to my house looking for me but they did not see me.
They eventually killed one of my workers in my house. Some months later, I was shot at a filling station in Agidingbi. But no musician called or checked on me throughout this period, so I decided to be on my own. I rescinded my decision because people  were asking me what was happening, especially my people in Ajegunle; so I had no other choice than to return to the music scene.” he recently told Punch newspaper.

Last weekend, a Nigerian guy, Daniel, graduated with honours in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in maths, plus he got engaged! It was all his sister's idea and it turned out well. While posing for photographs with his family and friends, Daniel cleared his throat, got everyone's attention and popped the question to his Briton boo (he crushed on her for years before he got the courage to ask her out while in the UNI)....of course she said YES!

Chelsea Midfielder Mikel Obi Rumoured Secret Lover Sandra Akagbue Is Pregnant For...

Beautiful Sandra Okagbue, who has been recently rumoured to Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi’s girlfriend was spotted heavily pregnant.

Sandra Akagbue had denied this report back in 2013 after the rumours of their secret relationship started making rounds. She turned down every story of her being involved with Mikel and soon successfully killed off stories of a possible romance between them.Sandra was however reportedly spotted lately at the house of beautiful actress Tana Adelana, heavily pregnant and expecting to deliver any time in September.

Close sources say she would be having her baby in Houston when the time comes.

Sandra has not made any comments on who the father of the child is or whether Mikel Obi has anything to do with it, even though there have been stories of the father being a man who plays football for a living.(GossipMe)
