Missing School Girls: 2 Die, Others Critically Ill (Must Read)

A man who claimed to be an intermediary of the dreaded Boko Haram sect has alleged that two of the girls who were abducted from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State in a night raid by the insurgents have died from snakebite.

photo20 of the abducted girls are also said to be critically ill.
The said intermediary also claimed that those who were Christians among the missing girls had been forced to convert to Islam. This is coming not long after the leader of the sect, Abubakar Shekau released a video claiming responsibility for the abduction of the girls, adding that it was Allah who sent him to do so. He however did not reveal the number of girls nor where they were being held hostage.
Meanwhile in a televised media chat held in Abuja on Sunday, President Goodluck Jonathan said the authorities didn't know the location of the school girls, adding that the Federal government was not negotiating with the insurgents to secure the release of the abducted schoolgirls as they cannot negotiate with faceless people.
Describing the situation as a trying and painful time for the nation, he pleaded for the cooperation of parents, guardians and local communities in the rescue efforts, promising to get the girls out from wherever they are being held hostage.
It is still not clear the number of girls that were kidnapped as the number keeps changing. At first it was reported that the number of girls abducted were 234, later security operatives said 276 were kidnapped.
Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) had over the weekend published the list of 178 abducted students, out of them 163 Christian girls and only 15 Muslim girls.

Following the girls abduction and failure to secure their release, there has been protests all over the nation and outside the country with people calling for the release of the girls. (Naij.com)

Seth Rogen on Justin Bieber: I Hate That Motherf--ker (Must Read)

Seth Rogen ripped Justin Bieber as "an obnoxious piece of sh!t" back in March and now it seems he's not quite done ragging on his fellow Canadian.
Rogen sat down with Howard Stern today and explained his distaste for the Biebs:
Seth Rogen, Observe and Report PremiereJustin Bieber: Praying?

"He's a good example of someone you meet, who you think you're going to hate and then you get to hate him."
Rogen goes on to say that Bieber "lives up to every one of your expectations" of how terrible he'll be.
Harsh words! And believe it or not, it gets worse!
Rogen refers to Bieber as a motherf*cker and a "dick" and says his time with Zac Efron on the set of his upcoming film Neighbors only served to highlight what a jerk Justin is.
Seth describes Efron as having the "humility" that Bieber lacks before finally concluding: "F*ck this kid!"
So we guess it's safe to say Seth won't be  partying with Bieber and Rob Ford at any Toronto hot spots in the near future.
Oh, well. He may have lost a potential Canuck friend, but Rogen is certainly gaining plenty of fans by tearing JB a new one. (HollyWood Gossip)

Suspected Ritualist Caught With Three Siblings

A suspected ritualist identified simply as Ihenacho was almost lynched over the weekend at Iyana Iba market in Lagos for allegedly kidnapping three children.

                                     Ihenacho, the suspected ritualist

The suspect who claimed to be a security man at Alaba International Market had reportedly deceived the three siblings aged four, six and seven years old that he wanted to buy biscuits for them.

                                                           The 3 children
According to the mother of the children, Mrs. Iyabo Lawal, she had noticed the man when he passed the first time, unknown to her that he was monitoring her kids who were playing with her mother in her shop. She didn't notice when her children followed the strange man as she was attending to customers and she thought they were playing with their grandmother.
Some people who saw the man with the children at the end of Iyana Iba road confronted him, asking what he was doing with the children but he couldn't give a satisfactory answer. That's when they raised an alarm and people gathered, pounced on the man and started beating him but for the intervention of mobile policemen attached to CTU Base 2, Anti Terrorism, Ikeja, the mob would have lynched him.
Ihenacho was later handed over to policemen from Ojo Police Division.
