Here is what we know about the upcoming Bruce interview
with Diane Sawyer:
It will air on Friday, April 24. It will be titled “Bruce Jenner: The Interview.” Oh, and now there's this:
It will give viewers their first look at Bruce Jenner as a woman.
According to TMZ insiders, Jenner will "present himself" publicly as a
female at some point during the ABC special. What does that mean,
exactly?
Not that we’ll learn his new name and now that he’ll actually dress differently. Instead, sources say jenner sees this sit-down
as the most "significant" event associated with his sex change.
It will mark his coming out. To Bruce, it will be more important than
any of the procedures associated with his gender transformation.
As for the actual content of the Q&A?
Look for Jenner to go all the way back to his life at the age of five,
when he first identified himself as a woman. He’ll discuss the
difficulties he has faced living like a man… but feeling like someone
else.
Jenner will also go into detail about the impact his decision has had on KIM
and all his loved ones.
The interview, which Bruce hopes will "free" himself and "educate" the
public on transgender topics, is just the first step in this star's
journey.
He is still booked to anchor a docuseries that will actually track his life as a woman.
Jenner has been trying to get out of the show, but we believe contracts are signed and E! still plans on airing the program. Because of course it does.
