Why Husband Strangles Mother of his Twins Day after their Delivery -

A woman identified as Titilayo Kola was Saturday strangled to death allegedly by her husband a day after she was delivered of twins. The Nation reports that the incident took place at the couple’s apartment at No 23, Temidire Street, Ajowa area of Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.

Findings further revealed that the deceased’s husband, one Mr. Kola, popularly known as Melomelo (how many, how many), had escaped with the twins even as he was reported to have slept in the same room with his late wife, their new twins and other four children the night before the incident.

Narrating the incident to journalists, the landlady of the deceased, who simply identified herself as Mama Aluko, said, “Titilayo was delivered of a set of twins at midnight on August 7. I was with her to help with the children and other things. Her husband, who has not been living with her for some time now, also came around, while her mum too was also around.
“Around 8:30 in the evening, her mother told me she would be going for night vigil in her church. So, it was her husband, herself and their new twins that I left before I went to bed that night. This morning (August 9), I woke up planning whether to prepare Semovita or fufu for Titilayo. It was around that time somebody came to inform me that they couldn’t wake Titilayo up and that her husband and the twins had disappeared.”

Asked about other family members of the couple, the landlady said she didn’t know much about them, adding that Kola (the husband) came to rent the apartment about a year earlier, but, however, stopped living with his wife a few months after they moved into the apartment.

Confirming the development, the Ekiti State’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Victor Babayemi, said:
“It is a case of homicide and child stealing. The deceased was found dead on the bed in quite a suspicious circumstance, and the prime suspect is the husband of the woman who we haven’t seen. So, we have a case of homicide and child stealing on our hands and we have commenced investigation.”

Nigerians Campaign For Ebola Patients To Be Given Experimental Drugs Used For US Doctors

                          Obi Justina Ejelonu

A graduate of Ebonyi State University Abakaliki, Obi Justina Ejelonu, was previously working at Otunba Tunwase National Peadiatric Centre Ijebu Ode in Ogun state. Last December, the young nurse volunteered to join a Facebook Group organizing free medical services in Aba to make it a success.

She then relocated to Lagos to work at First Consultant Hospital Obalande. This is the same hospital where first Ebola victim in Nigeria, Patrick Sawyer received treatment before he died.

Justina was among the nurses that cared for Patrick Sawyer. Last week she posted the following on the FB Group and has not been heard from since:

"I never contacted his fluids.i checked his Vitals, helped him with his food.(he was too weak).....i basically touched where his hands touched and dats d only contact.not directly wt his fluids.@a stage,he yanked off his infusion and we had blood everywhere on his bed.....but d ward maids took care of that and changed his linens with great precaution.everypatient is treated as high risk .....if it were airborne,by now wahala for dey.i still thank God."

"Friends, upto our uniforms n all linens were burnt off.we r on surveillance n off work till 11th.
Our samples v long bn taken by WHO n so far we v been fine.
For me,kudos to my hospital managt cos we work proffessionally wt every patient considered risk cos thats d training.had it been its a hospital where they manage ordinar gloves lik Govt hospital n some janjaweed private hosp..:lol....wahala for dey o.i must also thank Lagos Govt....infact!Even fed govt sef....all been supportive.im good n so r the others in d hosp....."

According to JOK, the admin of the FB group, Justina went into quarantine after that post and has now tested positive to Ebola. While Justina is receiving what care is available to sick patients, there is high possibility she might die, and they have now started a campaign to pressure the US Govt and Big Pharma to send the experimental drugs to Nigeria and the rest of West Africa where Ebola is ravaging.

He writes;
We have since confirmed that she was among those who attended to the Liberian Ebola patient, Mr Sawyerr, in Lagos. She is currently being quarantined at Mainland hospital Yaba Lagos alongside about 40 others. This clinic is immediately after Yaba Tech. She is still alive and spoke with me today on phone. But one of her fellow nurses died yesterday, as you might have read in Nigerian newspapers.

You can help save her life and that of about 40 others quarantined at Yaba, even though the situation looks hopeless.

We simply just can't fold our arms and wait for this deadly virus to take her and others away. Her only crime, alongside others, is doing her job of caring for the weak and informed. It could have been you or me.

All I ask of you is that you join us to launch a massive online campaign using the news and social media to demand that President Obama release the experimental drugs used in managing the American ebola victims to the Nigerian and Lagos State Government immediately. Our health minister has already informed the public that they have requested for the drugs from America. But we need to mount pressure using all the resources available to us as humans and Nigerians. If we don't do it, we will lose Justina and others. Obama already said he won't release the drugs to Africans but given that American government is public opinion driven, we can make him change his mind, if we try hard enough.

We want to launch twitter and facebook campaigns from tomorrow morning using the handle #GiveThemExperimentalDrugs to draw attention to their plight. It is inhuman to keep people and wait for them to die. Justina has already informed me that she and others tested positive to Ebola but I wish that you keep that bit of information private for legal and humanitarian reasons. Families are involved.

These brothers and sister had life and hope before this Liberian man flew into Nigeria.

Should we just wait for them to die?

Please contact every Nigerian celebrity you know to join this campaign in addition to writing about this in your media and social network handles. Put pressure on every government official you know in Nigeria and America. Ask your facebook friends to join this campaign in a non political manner. Get friends and family members involved because we are all at risk if nothing is done.
Before now, three Ebola experts – including Peter Piot who discovered the virus in 1976 – have called on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to release the drug which was given to two American health workers infected with Ebola leading to a reversal of their infection. However, officials insist there are no available doses to be released, and it would take months to manufacture more serum.

Also, medical experts are locked in an ethical debate. Should the experimental drug, previously untested in humans be given to patients who may not fully understand the implications? Some think yes, others say no. The WHO has convened an emergency meeting to discuss this and other issues concerning Ebola. (RML)

A bearded British woman is the only woman to appear in a photography exhibition celebrating the world’s best facial hair . 23 year old Harnaam Kaur started growing a beard at the age of 16 after being diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, a condition which causes excess hair growth. She said ‘It’s incredible to be the only bearded woman among all these men. It makes me feel really strong. And raising awareness for such a good cause is like a cherry on the top.’When I first started growing my beard it was for religious reasons but as the years have gone by I’ve kept it for more personal reasons.’It makes me feel like a brave, confident woman who isn’t afraid to break society’s norms” Initially due to bullying, she used to shave and wax but after being baptised Sikh, she stopped because the religion prohibits shaving of body hair..

Why I Stabbed My Wife To Death – Killer Husband (Photo)

Katongu, stiches of the self-inflicted injury

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man, Phillip Katongu, for allegedly stabbing his wife to death. Katongu, who hails from Wamba, Nasarawa State, was apprehended by operatives of the Department of Criminal Investigations, Yaba, Lagos.

The police said the victim, Justina, was stabbed to death in a street at Oniru Estate, Maroko, Lagos, where she and her husband were living. Katongu, who worked as a construction worker on the Victoria Island, had a wife outside the marriage in Nasarawa State before marrying the deceased.

45-year-old Katongu, told policemen that he killed his wife because she infected him with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus, among other misdeeds.

He said:
“I married Justina, my second wife in December 2010. I later learnt that she had given birth to two girls for a man. The girls died of AIDS. However, when we first met, she did not tell me all these. I explained to her that I have a wife with children and I wanted to marry her too. Before marriage, I told her we should go to hospital to conduct HIV test, but she refused and said that she was HIV negative. So we started sleeping together.”

Katongu added that without his knowledge, his wife had been going to Abuja for medical treatment every three months for HIV, until March 2013 when she took him along. He said it was at the hospital that she disclosed her HIV status to him.

He said:
“I was angry and told the doctor who equally blamed her for not disclosing it to me. The doctor then tested me, and I was positive. We came back to Lagos and continued with the relationship because I loved her. But suddenly, she told me she wanted to pack out from my house that she was no longer interested in marrying me having had another person in Abuja. In fact, the man usually called her on phone while we were together.
I told her that with her status, she should not go and be infecting people with the virus. And that I will kill her and kill myself. We started fighting and I stabbed her. It was in the early hours. I stabbed her three times with a knife. She shouted and people were knocking at our door.
However, after allegedly killing the wife, Katongu was said to have also attempted to commit suicide before the neighbors forced the door open and rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was revived.
After she died, I stabbed myself, and the people broke the door open. I woke up to find myself in a hospital. I feel very bad that I killed my wife. I loved her very much.”

Punch learnt that Justina was stabbed in about three places before she died. Also, the knife used for the murder had been recovered by the police. Justina, who hailed from Kauro, Kaduna State, did not have any child for the suspect before her death.

HOW A MARRIED WOMAN ANNOUNCED TO ME THAT GOD TOLD HER I WOULD BE HER HUSBAND -PASTOR ADEBOYE

Enoch Adejare Adeboye
According to the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye he was almost seduced by a married woman.

He told the story during his sermon at the on-going 62nd annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in order to encourage attendees to always depend on God.

Pastor Adeboye said that the woman came to him and announced to him that God had told her that he would be her husband, and immediately he rebuked her, saying, “you know that I am happily married and have children.”

That didn’t deter the woman who continued to pester him, and even came to the camp to threaten him, saying “if you stand on my way to marrying this man, I will kill you.”

According to Vanguard, Pastor Adeboye took the matter to the Inspector General of Police who immediately invited the woman and her husband to his office and after a meeting banned the randy woman from entering the Redemption Camp or ever making passes at the man of God.

“But that measure didn’t stop her. I travelled to London without telling anybody, to work on the church’s devotional, Open Heaven. As soon as I settled down in the room, the telephone rang and the voice at the other end said: “welcome to London. I am coming in 15 minutes."

Continuing, he said he told the voice:

“You don’t know anything, you know that the Police in London are very efficient and if you dare come here, I will call the Police for you.” There is a Police station a few meters from where I am staying and she must have known that because she didn’t come but kept calling me.

“I cried to God Who told me ‘You know of the scripture that says, whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven.’

Believe me honestly, unless God helps, there are things you cannot handle on your own," he stated, urging the large crowd to stand and pray with holy anger.

Church Cancels Man’s Funeral After Learning He Was Gay

A church in Florida canceled a man’s funeral the night before because they didn’t want to hold services for a gay man. His name is Julion Evans (pictured on the left) and he was only 42-years-old. He died from a disease called Amyloidosis.

This disease attacks the internal organs inside the body. The man’s husband Kendall Capers, and his family planned a beautiful memorial service at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Things took a turn for the worse, as soon as the church members read Julion Evans obituary.
They made sure to cancel the service an hour before it started because he was married to a man. They were bold enough to call the dead man’s family and tell them the funeral could not take place. They told Julion’s mother it would be “BLASPHEMOUS” for her son’s funeral to take place at their church.

His mother called the local news station as soon as she stood at the foot of her son’s casket. His mother told WFLA the news was “HORRIBLE.” Church pastor TW Jenkins told KSDK, “I try not to condemn anyone’s lifestyle, but at the same time I am a man of God and have to stand upon my principles.”

The service continued at a local funeral home. This is truly a sad story.
