Mother pushes 7 month old baby out of train and abandons her there (Photos)

New York City Police are hunting for an African American woman who was seen abandoning a baby girl on a subway platform.

According to Daily mail, witnesses saw an unidentified African-American woman, believed to be in her 20s or 30s, pushing a stroller out of a northbound 1 train at Columbus Circle at about 11:50am. The woman then darted back on the train just before the doors shut, leaving the approximately 7-month-old baby girl on her own. 

Surveillance footage released by the NYPD shows the woman entering the subway with the baby in the stroller earlier in the day. A 33-year-old bystander stayed with the baby for 20 minutes, waiting for the woman to return.

When no one came to claim the child, the witness contacted police.

President Goodluck Jonathan has Wednesday sworn-in 4 new ministers, preliminarily cleared by the National Assembly: Ibrahim Shekarau, Stephen Oru, Adedayo Adeyeye and Abdul Bulama.

According to Premium Times, Shekarau was appointed the new Education Minister, Adeyeye – the Minister of State for Works, Oru – Minister of Niger Delta and Bulama – the Minister of Science and Technology.

The President congratulated the new ministers urging them to be active and dynamic in their actions in the office:

"This government has less than a year to go and you have been brought in this time, so you know the reason why you have been brought in. You have no time to sleep, unfortunately for you because first you have to learn how to climb the ropes, because maybe it is a different setting, no matter how experienced you are if you go to something different you will need some time to adjust."

New minsters Abdu Bulama, Steve Orise-Oru, Dayo Adeyeye, Ibrahim Shekarau. 

The country leader also expressed his confidence that the newcomers would do well not just to satisfy the Nigerian authorities but also to satisfy Nigeria citizens.

Nurse Has Sex With Corpse, Sentenced to Two Years in Jail in California

A nurse who was caught having sexual intercourse with a corpse at Sherman Oaks Hospital in California was sentenced to two years in county jail Tuesday.

Prosecutors said that Alejandro Razo, 62, was ordered to serve 180 days of those two years under supervised release, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Razo must also attend counseling sessions and sex offender meetings.
  
Nurse Arrested For Sex With Corpse

The California nurse was found guilty June 26 of having sex with the corpse of an 82-year-old woman who had passed away from natural causes at the hospital.

Razo had been assigned to prepare her for the mortuary in January 2013, until another nurse walked in and saw him doing something rather unthinkable.

Allegedly, Razo had his pants down and was having sex with the body.

He was soon arrested under suspicion of health and safety code violations. Razo pleaded not guilty, but L.A. prosecutors used DNA evidence to convinct him.

Razo’s nursing license has been suspended following the incident, but has not been revoked, according to district attorney spokesman Ricardo Santiago.

Tolani Ajayi, the 21-year-old undergraduate who killed his father, has said he is ready to face the consequences of his action. While speaking with Journalists yesterday at Eleweran Police Headquarters, Abeokuta where he has been remanded, Tolani said he hacked his father, a lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria to death because he was angry about his father’s action.

According to him, they had an argument and his father hit him with a stick which made him attack him with a kitchen knife and cutlass which later led to his death. I don’t need any help from Nigerians, he said.

It was also gathered that Tolani had been suspended from Redeemer’s University on drug related issues and the University management were about setting up a panel to question him before the incident took place.
He however sent out some words to his mom, who he says will grieve the most, that he was sorry and regrets his actions.
