T.B. Joshua Delivers Two Notorious Lesbians At SCOAN

Prophet T.B. Joshua continued his noble cause of helping the people, when he listened to confession of two lesbians and delivered them at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), live on Emmanuel TV on March 23, 2014, Sunday.
The girls how came in search for assistance said ‘demons’ were behind their lifestyle.
One of them, Maria Terese George (pictured) has told her full story to the congregation.T.B. Joshua Delivers Two Notorious Lesbians At SCOAN
She was born in a poor family in Delta State. Her poverty pushed her to seek help from an older lady. One day a rich girlfriend took attractive 19-year-old Maria to a night club, where they started drinking.
After the party both friends returned home and the rich friend started touching Maria everywhere. The drunken girl responded, because she was not really in condition to understand what was going on.
The day after this drunken encounter, Maria had an unusual dream which she described as “a half-naked lady came to me in the dream and fed me with rice, stew and meat”.
In the morning her affection for men disappeared, the young girl began admiring other females only.
“That was how the spirit of lesbianism entered me. I noticed that whenever I saw a female that was busty and curvy, I would always admire their features… I became a chronic lesbian,” she admitted.
To make things worse, Maria’s rich friend brought her into a local prostitution ring, for earning money. Due to the curse of the girl, men could get sex from her, but, she enjoyed it and felt real love only when making out with a woman.
Prostitution led Maria to a neighbouring African country, where her immoral lifestyle seemed only to worsen. However, resources disappeared as readily as they arrived. After several years of frustration, she decided it was time to return to Nigeria.
Maria tried to get in touch with some of her former male friends, but all of them were married, with kids, and even laughed at her. However, all of them, independently, advised her to seek assistance at the SCOAN.
Making up her mind to visit the church based in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, her resolve was immediately followed by a terrible nightmare.
“That half-naked woman came to me in the dream and said, ‘Look – you think you can leave me! Go and pick up a knife and kill yourself’.”
Upon waking, Maria immediately packed her bags and left for Lagos.
After the ‘deliverance’, Maria testified to a total transformation.
“I no longer have affection for women. When I see any woman, I don’t feel it again – I see you as a sister or as my mother. I am seeing myself now as a woman that will settle with a man”.
Advising people, the former lesbian told the congregation: “This lesbian spirit is a very stubborn spirit – it takes the grace of God for it to leave you”.  (Naij)

"A Good Marriage Would Be Between A Blind Wife And A Deaf Husband"; Ghanaian actor Majid Michel advice Paul and Anita Okoye

Click for Full Image SizeYesterday Paul Okoye of psquare and his heartthrob Anita, tied the knot in Port Harcourt and many people graced the occasion, amongst them was popular Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel, Majid has been married for years, and guess this is the best gift he could give the newly wedded couples, gave newly married Paul Okoye of P'Square an advice on how to keep a successful marriage. Below is what he wrote;

"Ok I hope my advices work. I love being married. Its so great to find one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life. For two people in a marriage to live together day after day is unquestionably the one miracle the Vatican has overlooked.

One advantage of marriage is that, when you fall out of love with him or he falls out of love with you, it keeps you together until you fall in again. A good marriage would be between a blind wife and a deaf husband.

A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person. There is so little different between husbands you might as well keep the first. Before marriage, a man will lie awake all night thinking about something you said; after marriage he'll fall asleep before you finish saying it. To avoid mistake, always consult your wife before engaging in flirtation.

According to UEFA disciplinary committee decision, the Champions League defending champions will have to shut "Sector 124" of the Allianz Arena for the quarterfinal second leg match holding on April 9.
However, a statement released by UEFA on Monday did not give indication of which part of the stadium that section is located in or how many seats will be affected.
Uefa said fans showed "an illicit banner" during the round of 16 tie at home to Arsenal earlier this month.

The police were able to rescue about 23 victims as one of the victims who was however lucky to be alive following the traumatic experience narrated the horrible ordeal.
One of the victims who said she was kidnapped in September 2013 said:“I remember that I left my home in Okebola and was going to Challenge. I entered a taxi and that is the only thing I can remember until police rescued us on (Saturday).”
“I can recollect seeing people falling down, I can remember that some were taken away and they never returned, but really, it did not mean anything to me until Saturday. It was as if I woke up from a slumber.”
Meanwhile families whose loved ones had been missing stormed the abandoned building on Sunday with the hope of finding them. The Oguntade family who happens to be one of such families went in search of their 95-year-old father, Isaac Oguntade who had been missing since December 31, 2013 after leaving home in Osun state but never returned.
“He is an old man, but still strong. He was a retired teacher and he was going to a bank on Osogbo Road on the day we last saw him.
“We have searched everywhere in vain. When we heard of this discovery, we came down to see if our father could be one of the victims, but we could not find him here,” said Kehinde, the family spokesperson.
The Oyo State Police Command, however stated that they have arrested a man in connection to the crime saying:
“Some decayed corpses and skeletons were also found in a nearby bush. The scene was visited and one Abideen Akanmu was arrested. He said he was employed by one Gbadamosi, now at large, to take care of the destitute found there.

Emmy Collins, Nigerian Designer 'Attacks' Paul Okoye, His New Bride & Other Celebs

Nigerian fashion Designer, Emmy Collins who is known for always criticizing celebs has taken a swipe at the second half of Psquare, Paul Okoye's who got married to his heartrob on Saturday, 22nd of March.

Apparently Paul is not his only victim as his brother, Peter who got married last year has had his own fair share of Emmy's insults.

Emmy Collins put Paul Okoye, his wife, singer, Iyanya, Nollywood actres, Monalisa Chinda, Uche Jumbo on a blast with their outfits.

photo
Anita Isama:
Apparently Paul Okoye`s wifey is gorgeous. On the picture below she looks great in her traditional ensembles but the last dress fall my hand, kpomkwem! Sequins and big birdy fabric? Yeah, right. She was never gonna make it to the winners list on that one, mbanu.photo

Paul Okoye:
First and foremost, I must congratulate Paul who happens to be the intelligent and quiet one of the duo. Now that we have gotten that out of the way I must declare that it is official now that the Okoyes don`t do quality, PERIOD so I`m never gonna pick on them ever again. Considering the polyester drama that ensued during Peter`s wedding not quite long ago, it would have been fair to imagine that Paul would never want to be caught dead committing the same sort of fashion harakiri but alas he just fell into the same trap like his twin brother did.
He wasn`t decked up in polyester but from what I can see from my screen right now, he might as well have had a polyester themed wedding. I`m done with these chaps.

Peter Okoye & his Polyester Crew

Peter Okoye & his Polyester Crew:
As if that wasn`t enough to wreak havoc to the style credibility of the Okoyes, Peter and his polyester crew showed up with the same style of Kaftan they wore at Peter`s wedding with the only difference being the colour. I can`t confirm if the fabric was polyester or not due to the colour but I will find out. Can anyone confirm if Polyester was all over the floor once again?
Couldn`t they come up with something else to wear? Music is a creative industry so get creative boys! Phewwwwwwww. Looking at the trousers, I`m tempted to declare this fabric as polyester. REALLY? WHATTTT! Why do these guys employ obioma tailors to fix their pieces? Aba tailors would have been better albeit slightly more expensive. Should I believe that money is the issue here or someone`s lack of comprehension of the word style and quality?
And oh, the MOPOLS definitely encourage me to take my next vacation in Port Harcourt hahahaha. On a serious note, the security issue isn`t peculiar to PH but I must opine that I feel relatively safe in Lagos Island even at nights as I haven`t heard any case of robbery on the Island in a long time.

Iyanya:
Lollllll, how did those sleeves make it through Iyanya`s biceps?

Uche Jumbo
Uche Jumbo:
This is the best I have ever seen Uche Jumbo EVER. Perhaps it might be advisable for her to buba ati iro it to the red carpet events. I don`t see where it says NO buba ati Iro allowed. Joke Silva rocks her traditional ensembles to events and kills it each time but I guess she has a different personality and poise compared to Uche. The truth of the matter is that you can`t be doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different result, Madam so I hereby advise that you port to Buba ati iro level.photo

Monalisa Chinda
Lobatan, who carry afia iwu aka contraband enter here nah? I been think say we don hit the nail of the coffin of Chanel Lego bag since Sindodo made appearance with it. Nah you hit us with this one Mona aka Lisa? Make your head correct o,abeg.

Emmy Collins has also insulted some Nollywood actresses, the likes of Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Genevieve Nnaji, Rukky Sanda, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, Chika Ike, OAP, Toke Makiwa.

President Jonathan, First Lady Meet Pope [Pictures]

Click for Full Image SizePresident Goodluck Jonathan, on Sunday, visited the Vatican to see Pope Francis I. The nation’s number one citizen was with the Pope alongside the First Lady, Patience Jonathan.

During the courtesy visit, the President reportedly spoke on inter-faith dialogue promotion in Nigeria and other parts of the world to foster greater global peace and security, a cause to which the Pontiff was very committed to.

Speaking with journalists after his private meeting with Pope Francis, Jonathan said that his administration was already working in close collaboration with Cardinal John Onaiyekan, who was the team leader to the Pope, for the effort to strengthen inter-faith dialogue in Nigeria. He disclosed that his government will continue to show comitment to the promotion of religious harmony and the peaceful co-existence of people of all faiths

“I don’t need to be a lion, King Nebuchadnezzar, operate like the Pharoah of Egypt or an army general, but I can transform this country without those traits. My prayer every time, is for God to use me to change this country. For the Goliaths of Nigeria that does not want Nigeria to move an inch , We will conquer them," he stated.

TB JOSHUA DEFENDS OYAKHILOME –‘WE DON’T DISAGREE, PEOPLE’S UNDERSTANDING DIFFERS

Click for Full Image Size
Prophet T.B. Joshua has countered insinuations that he is fighting with Christ Embassy Pastor Chris Oyakhilome over a session of questions that saw the respected ministers of God produce different answers.

Answering another question from a Facebook fan who was seeking explanation for the Scripture in 1 Corinthians 10:13, Joshua addressed the online uproar that resulted from his answers on the issue of abortion after rape and masturbation and their perceived variance with Oyakhilome’s.

“This reminds me of a recent article in which people put me side by side with my brother Pastor Chris Oyakhilome talking about masturbation,” Joshua wrote on his official Facebook page. “Our brother was referring to Christians, not others. Christians who already have a relationship with God – their wrong is different from others because the root of their wrong is from the flesh, not from the heart,” he explained, attempting to add clarity to Oyakhilome’s much debated explanation about masturbation.

He went further to say, “When the root of your wrong is not from the heart, your wrong will make you to run to God the more. That is, it will intensify your relationship with God. I mean, you will see the need of God the more until His name is glorified.”

T.B. Joshua stated that true men of God were united because “the Bible is our standard” and “our Bible is one”. He suggested that it was people’s understanding that actually differed. “The understanding of people that read us can only differ,” he concluded, evidently showing his support for Oyakhilome who was widely criticised for his controversial responses.

In answering the tricky question about ‘not being tempted beyond what we are able’, the cleric revealed, “It simply means you will not encounter a temptation that will stop you from seeing the need of God. The essence of temptation is to overthrow your position before God but in this case, it does not stop you but encourages you to see the need of God the more because it is from your flesh, not from your heart.”

He went on to differentiate between ‘temptation’ from the heart and the flesh. “If it is from your heart, you will begin to exalt satan, listen to the voice of temptation and act out of character. If it is from your flesh, you will see the need of God the more because the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.”

He said that Christians do often make mistakes but they have a Mediator in Heaven. “When a Christian makes a mistake, he does not lose his place as a son but loses his fellowship. We can immediately go to God about our behaviors. He will help us to get back on our feet, forgive us and help us not to make the same mistake again.”

Importance of Reading Skills

Students who are immersed in literacy at an early age become lifelong readers.
Whether you are engaged in a novel, pouring over a newspaper or a just looking at a sign, reading skills allow you to interpret and become engaged in the world around you. According to the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, “Reading is the single most important skill necessary for a happy, productive and successful life.” Developing those skills takes active engagement from an early age.

Reading to Learn

Children today have many opportunities to gather information. Books are not the only tools children are exposed to. Using a smartphone, reading from an electronic tablet or researching on a computer has opened the floodgates for finding and accessing information. A student with the reading skills necessary to access and use information is not just learning to read but reading to learn. With proper reading skills, she can explore topics ranging from how spiders spin silky webs to the details of the Wright brothers' first flight in North Carolina.

Lifelong Readers

Fluency, decoding and vocabulary development are needed to comprehend written material. Readers use these skills to interpret and understand written words on a page. They read often from a wide variety of materials. They read to find out more about the world in which they live and use that information to improve their lives. Lifelong readers think critically about what they’ve read and make connections to their own lives. They apply their skills in language and writing development.

Long-Term Implications

Reading skills, are "essential to function in our society," according to Duane Alexander, director of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, speaking before a congressional subcommittee in 2002. Alexander stated that many children living in poverty lack the skills that will allow them to become lifelong readers. A person with low reading ability may not be able to read signs, understand medical information or prescription directions, or apply for jobs that require basic skills tests.

Successful Students

Whether the author is writing to inform, persuade, give directions or entertain, he is communicating to his audience. A person who can read has the ability to empathize with and connect to the characters in a story. A reader builds background knowledge about many different subjects that he can later use. Students with the necessary reading skills can later develop writing and language skills necessary for academic and professional success.
