DHQ confirms emergence of new terrorists’ group in Northwest called Lukarawas

The Defense Headquarters has confirmed the emergence of a new terrorist group known as ‘Lukarawas’ in the Northwestern part of Nigeria. The Director of Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. Edward Buba, disclosed this to newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, November 7, while speaking on the operations of the military.

Buba said that the new terror group emerged from the Republic of Niger after the coup that led to the breakdown of military cooperation between Nigeria and Niger.

He said that the terrorists began incursion into northern parts of Sokoto and Kebbi States from the Niger Republic and Mali axis, particularly after the coup in Niger Republic.

According to him, before the coup, there were joint border operations with Nigerien security forces, which kept the terrorists at bay.

“The terrorists took advantage of the gaps in cooperation between both countries and exploited difficult terrains to make incursions in remote areas in some North Western states to spread their ideology,” he said

Buba said that the group was accommodated by the locals, who initially thought that the group meant well for them, adding that they failed to report the movement to the military and security agencies.

He assured Nigerians that the Nigerian troops have sustained intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) to degrade the terrorists. He added that the terror group had continued to take advantage of the vast under-governed areas to hide and evade troops as well as harass the locals.

According to him, troops are locating them and eliminating the threat.

Always check your spouse?s phones. Your children need you alive and healthy - Nigerian mother says

A Canada based Nigerian woman Chisom Chigbo, has advised people to always check their spouses phones even if it ends in tears.

The mother of two, who stated this in a Facebook post on Wednesday, said a cheating partner can put one at risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections.

“Another reason you should always check your spouse’s phones is to save your self from local, national and international embarrassment,” she wrote.

When you find out you have a meandering partner you will know how to guard yourself.

Aside heartbreak, you won’t like to be treating segzually transmitted dizezez every eke market day, you might end up with one that is terminal and untreatable.

In this 21st century if you still have the mindset of “what I don’t know won’t harm me”, you are in for a rude awakening.

You have children that need you alive and healthy, even if you don’t love yourself enough remember those children you brought to the world.
Ransack his “private” property. Check all checkables.

It may end in tears but it’s better you know what’s up and know how to mount your guard and also when to sachie your savannah.

There is no parole in the federal system. After Ogunshakin’s release from prison, he will begin a 3-year term of supervised release and is subject to removal from the United States.

Ogunshakin, who was on the FBI's Cyber's Most Wanted list, was extradited to the United States in 2023.

From sometime no later than January 2015, continuing to September 2016, Ogunshakin participated in a scheme to defraud U.S. based businesses.

As a part of the scheme, Ogunshakin and other individuals participated in a business email compromise scheme in which co-conspirators used compromised e-mail accounts to send spoofed emails to thousands of business employees who handled accounting, to include authorizing and sending wire transfers.

Co-conspirators spoofed e-mail addressed to pose as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or other business executives and would direct recipients of the e-mail to complete wire transfers.

The business employee, thinking the wire transfer request was legitimate, would comply with the wire transfer and send money to a location providing in wiring instructions.

Ogunshakin and other co-conspirators provided bank account information to the co-conspirators who sent the spoofed e-mails to the business executives.

In February 2015 and May 2015, two Nebraska based businesses were targeted by the scheme. The investigation into the scheme revealed over 70 U.S. based business were victimized and the loss amount exceed $6 million, with attempted losses exceeding $30 million.

Ogunshakin and the co-conspirators committed the offense from outside the United States, mostly from Nigeria.  At the request of the United States, Nigerian authorities arrested Ogunshakin for the purpose of his extradition in October 2020, a court in Nigeria found him extraditable in July 2023, and Nigerian authorities extradited him to the United States in September 2023.

The Justice Department’s Office of International Affairs provided substantial assistance in securing the arrest and extradition of Ogunshakin in coordination with the FBI’s Legal Attaché in Abuja, Nigeria’s Office of the Attorney General and Federal Ministry of Justice, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Ogunshakin’s co-conspirator, Adewale Akinloye, was sentenced to 96 months’ imprisonment in February 2019. Co-conspirators Richard Uzuh, Felix Okpoh, and Nnamdi Benson all remain at large. Co-conspirator Abiola Kayode’s extradition proceedings are ongoing.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Lecia E. Wright for the District of Nebraska.

Hamas Terrorists react to Donald Trump's election win and beg him to 'work seriously to stop the war of genocide and aggression in Gaza

Hamas terrorists have issued a statement reacting to former President Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 presidential election.

The terrorist group said on Wednesday that Trump's incoming administration must 'work seriously to stop the war,' after he reportedly asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to wrap up the conflict by the time he gets inaugurated on January 20 should he be elected, according to Fox News.

'In light of the initial results showing Donald Trump winning in the US presidential election,' Hamas believes he is 'required to listen to the voices that have been raised by the US public for more than a year regarding the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip,' it said.

The group also said the incoming president's administration must 'work seriously to stop the war of genocide and aggression against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, stop the aggression against the brotherly Lebanese people, stop providing military support and political cover to the Zionist entity and to recognize the legitimate rights of our people.'

It added that the 'new US administration must realize that our Palestinian people will continue to resist the hateful Zionist occupation and will not accept any path that detracts from their legitimate rights to freedom, independence, self-determination and the establishment of their independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem at its capital.'

The statement echoed earlier remarks by Hamas Political Bureau spokesman Basem Naim.

'The election of Trump as the 47th president of the USA is a private matter for the Americans,' he told Newsweek.

'But Palestinians look forward to an immediate cessation of the aggression against our people, especially in Gaza, and look for assistance in achieving their legitimate rights of freedom, independence and the establishment of their independent self-sovereign state with Jerusalem at its capital.

'The blind support for the Zionist entity "Israel" and its fascist government, at the expense of the future of our people and the security and stability of the region, must stop immediately.'
